There were many more experienced coaches to choose from but Silvio picked him and in his era there have been two more coaches who came in as untested (or tested and failed in Ancelotti's case) and thrived! So I just can''t see why we're so against it.

I don't think Leonardo will be our coach but even if he becomes I don't believe it will be because of that reason. Berlusconi wants Ronaldinho to play but as you know Berlusconi has no problem with his favorite players not playing as long as the team is winning.

I don't know. Leonardo is also a Berlusconi favorite. This will be the first time Milan appoints a Berlu-pet as coach. And that makes it even worse then Ancelotti, already criticized for being to close to Berlusconi/management, and to mild.

It's AS, which means no one will believe it. but after what happened in January I wouldn't be surprised if we did sell Kaka this summer.

I've come to believe that what happened in January was just a stunt by Berlusconi. I don't think Milan will sell Kaka if he does not want to go.

Real Madrid And Milan Reach Kaka Deal - Report

Kaka is all set to play his last match for AC Milan, with a move to the Bernabeu almost sealed...

Tonight's game against Fiorentina will be Kaka's last in a Milan shirt, as the club have reached an agreement with Real Madrid, according to reports.

According to AS, Real Madrid are poised to sign Kaka for €60 million.

The deal was agreed on May 16, but Milan's executive director Adriano Galliani requested that it not be made public until now, so that the Brazilian could concentrate on the end of the season for the Rossoneri, who are still not sure of an automatic Champions League spot.

It is believed that Kaka will sign a five year contract with wages of around €9,120,000 per year. In addition, 50% of his image rights will go to Real Madrid.

The transfer fee will go a long way towards helping Milan pay off their considerable debts.

Milan's Adriano Galliani: Gattuso Cried For Ancelotti, Leonardo Will Do Well, Kaka Stays

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed that tough midfielder Gennaro Gattuso cried his eyes out for Carlo Ancelotti when the new Chelsea manager left the club.

Ancelotti's successor as coach at Milan, Leonardo, was unveiled at the San Siro and Galliani touched upon everything during the press conference. On his agenda was the team's reaction to Ancelotti leaving, the decision to bring in the Brazilian coach, as well as his stance on the Kaka exit rumours.

"We would like to thank Ancelotti for a great eight years. We knew he would be joining Chelsea, but we didn't say anything in order to protect the team," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

"A lot of players cried when Ancelotti left, including Gattuso, he was more upset that others."

Galliani admitted that bringing in the new man was a decision which was agreed by all the parties involved beforehand.

"I want to wish Leonardo great success. The choice to bring him in as coach was a club decision," continued the chief.

"All of our decisions were made together. Leonardo was Berlusconi's, mine, and the club's choice.

"He is the right man. To be a good coach you need qualities, both human and technical, and he has these.

"Milan want to follow the road of [Fabio] Capello with Leonardo. Like Leonardo, Capello played for us, then he was a director here, and then he became coach.

"We want Leonardo to do the same. We are sure Leonardo will do great things. He is intelligent and has a good relationship with the players."

The rumour mill surrounding Kaka has been working overtime, but Galliani insists his main man will not be leaving.

"Kaka is a Milan player and he will remain so, he has not signed anything with anyone and we will resist certain clubs' attempts to land him," added the bald-headed director.

"I cannot speak about the transfer market as it starts in July and finishes in August. We have to sit down and analyse what we need first to decide on how to play. It all depends on the tactics."

So it seems Milan's transfer policies will be in line with the new coach's tactical schemes.

Ancelotti Will Administer A Transfer Merry-Go-Round At Chelsea - Report

If the British print media are to be believed then new full-time Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, who was appointed only a few hours ago, will make sales his first point of business.

According to The Sun, Florent Malouda - despite his impressive form during the season's close - will be jettisoned, along with Ivorian international Salomon Kalou and the underwhelming former Barcelona midfielder Deco.

The funds accrued from the respective departures of the aforementioned trio, along with a £50 million warchest that will be handed to Ancelotti, will reportedly be used to bring in a host of big-name players, including CSKA Moscow's versatile flanker Yuri Zhirkov, who has been labelled the "Russian Ronaldinho".

OFFICIAL: Luigi Del Neri New Coach Of Sampdoria

Sampdoria have announced on their official website that Luigi Del Neri is the club's new coach.

Del Neri, who left Atalanta yesterday after two seasons with the Nerazzurri, takes over from Walter Mazzarri, who yesterday exited the Stadio Ferraris after two years.

The 58-year-old Del Neri, who is most famous for his successful stint at Chievo, will be presented to the press on Wednesday morning at 11:30 CET.

His assistant coach will be Francesco Conti, while Roberto De Bellis and Guido Bistazzoni will form part of his backroom staff.

It is a return to Sampdoria for Del Neri, who spent one season at the club as a player in 1980-81.

Same as well, I really think Pirlo is an important factor for milan, but I have a feeling that if we are going to be signing adebayor (silvio's wish) then we will either have to sell kaka or Pirlo to raise the funds for it.

For what it's worth - which may not be much - the Spanish press is reporting that Galliani and Kaka's father have flown to Madrid today for talks with Florentino Perez.

In order, Trini, it's:

* Berlusconi says Milan isn't for sale
* Maroni (Italy's Minister of the Interior) has asked Berlusconi not to sell Kaka
* Bronzetti says that Real wants Kaka but Milan aren't going to sell him

So, the lone guy in the Italian transfer press that isn't frothing at the mouth over the Kaka thing is reporting that the cugini may be willing to cut Maxwell loose and that Milan might be interested.
