I doubt any club in europe would pay 1 million for Dida. I wouldn't mind if he stayed another year but you should remember his place on this team. He is a second string goalie to an average at best first string goalie.
Believe me, I may not come out and say it, but I am
fully aware of Dida's place on the team and that he didn't get back to the #1 spot solely on his own accord. He also benefited from Kalac instantly going from hero to zero with the Chelsea drubbing, and Abbiati's and Favalli's knees having a meet-and-greet.
The preseason always marks open season on the #1 GK spot; heck, even Storari could wind up being #1 for all we know. Either way, Dida proved that he was still up to the task as Abbiati's replacement, and for that he deserves the benefit of the doubt heading into the preseason. With Abs out until after the start of the term, it's now Dida's spot to lose.

I don't recall hearing anything about Milan's financial woes two and a half years ago.
In the end, Kaka proved a bigger financial burden with all his contract reworkings (9 mil a year, over twice as much what most of the others were making) despite his mediocre play, and he wound up sold.
Well you're one of the few, as back then we had just sold Sheva and were complaining over taxes not permitting us to sign Henry as a replacement or taxes already keeping us away from strengthening the defence when we had just lost Stam. Yet it was ok to give Dida 4m a season while playing like cr@p and costing us game after game.
Kaka got his pay increases through merit he never asked for them himself, and what did you expect he would get he was the best player in the world and still is one of the top 3 in the world, did you expect him to earn what Favalli earns when you have Ibra, Messi, Ronaldo earning the money they do, which was still by the way a lot more then Kaka did, especially Ronaldo. And so its ok to be giving Kaladze, Dida, etc 4m a season but its not ok to give our best player, the one who had been dragging this team on by himself 9m a season. I don't understand how you would see this as rational thinking.
Kaka was sold because he's the only one on the team that we can ask big money for, if we were really looking to relieve ourselves of the financial burden that come from player wages then Dida would be the first one out on his @ss along with Kaladze, Seedorf, Ambrosini

Hes a left wing back/left defender/left midfielder.
He's f*cking fast. Similar speed to Kaka or perhaps faster. Decent cross and likes to attack alot. He is 27 years old. He played for arsenal for a couple years back when he was a school kid but he didn't really shine in england and he went back to brazil and spent 6 seasons there. Left-back Aly Cissokho seemed destine to move from Porto to Olympique Lyonnais on Friday, however, L’Equipe’s Saturday edition reports that the young Frenchman may not complete the transfer back to his homeland.
Only the fine details need to be completed, however, according to the Paris-based sportspaper, his Portuguese employers have not stood by a deal they agreed when the player joined the club back in January. President Pinto da Costa stands accused of reneging on an agreement that he made with the former Vitoria Setubal defender whereby he would pay the player approximately 30 per cent of the transfer fee when the 21-year-old departed the club.
L’Equipe also suggests that Da Costa, who has been critical of OL’s transfer dealings this summer, “failed to hold his word” on the initial fee agreed, reportedly €15 million plus 20 per cent of any sell-on fee Lyon receive. It is said he is now seeking more money for the seven-time French champions.
Cissokho’s transfer seemed destined to be finalised at the end of the week; he had said goodbye to his team-mates and didn’t train on Friday. The attack-minded full-back was expected to board a plain bound for Paris on Friday evening, but he did not catch the flight, reportedly locked in a dispute with Porto instead.
The Blois-born youngster has already seen a move to Milan collapse at the last minute this summer, officially due to dental problems. Lyon have already given Cissokho the all-clear on that front, and will expect to sign the former Gueugnon man should the dispute with Porto be settled.
Thank god we pulled out of these negotiations. Galliani was right to do so. Porto's president would have made us pay something stupid for this guy. They signed for 300k in january and now he wants 20 million? Well I hope lyon tell porto to go f*ck themselves. Their President is one greedy b@stard.

Luis Fabiano's agent, Jose Fuentes, is applying the pressure on Milan to offer what Sevilla want for the striker.
The Rossoneri have been in constant talks with Spanish club Sevilla, and with Rio
and Stellar Group, who own a majority stake in the player. Figures have been the problem for the Italian side as they have been unwilling to meet the hitman's price tag. A game of cat and mouse has ensued and reports claim the only concrete offer Milan have made is €14 million, a far cry from the €20m asking fee.
Fuentes is becoming fed up of the Rossoneri's attitude, feeling their bids do not reflect a serious interest in his client.
"I feel as if I am being taken for a ride. It's not possible that one of the biggest clubs in the world allow the player to slip through their fingers for only a few million," Fuentes told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"I am disappointed. His price is around €20m, but Sevilla could accept around €17m. The player is back from holiday on Tuesday and Sevilla want to know what Milan's intentions are."
Fuentes is not the only one frustrated with the Italians. Rojiblancos president Jose Maria Del Nido suggested the Rossoneri's initial offer was ridiculous.
Yeah only if it was just 17 million we would have to pay. Why don't you mention the stupid bonuses that sevilla want as part of the deal? Oh then Milan wouldn't look so stupid when everyone figures the actual price we'll eventually be paying will be around 25 million.
We would have signed him a long time ago if 17 million was all we had to pay. Galliani is not stupid.

Zenit swoop for Rosina
Saturday 18 July, 2009
Alessandro Rosina is expected to leave Italy after receiving multi-million pound contract offers from Zenit and Stuttgart.
The trequartista was a fan favourite, but Torino’s relegation saw the relationship sour and this week he was involved in a shouting match with hecklers during a training session.
It is now reported in ‘Tuttosport’ that Zenit St Petersburg have offered a lucrative four-year contract to tempt him to Russia.
The talks are already on, but Toro are demanding £7m compared to the £5.5m that Zenit have proposed so far.
The buy-out clause on his contract is £12.5m, but there are other sides also interested in Rosina’s services.
Stuttgart hope to bring him to the Bundesliga, while clubs in England have been linked with the shaven-headed star nicknamed Rosinaldo.
I wonder why we dont go for him he can play at wings which will be our new plan he is well settled in serie A is itlain anf is cheap for his talent

allright update time:
It is reported that Galliani and Sevilla have begun negotiations well into the night. Sevilla have lowered their asking price to 16 million from 20 million, however Milan refuse to pay anything more than 14. If the issue is not resolved within the next few days, RIO has threatened to take Sevilla to court. It is assumed that Milan and Sevilla do not wish to deal with such matters and will eventually find an agreement.
There is also a strong possibility that Sevilla will take 10-14 million for Fabiano + viudez or cardaccio. The two players have not joined Milan for their USA tour as they have been deemed surplus by the management and could be used to sweeten the deal. We will have more news by Monday.

They broke their contract agreement. If an offer of 11 million or more came in for fabiano and the player has agreed to the move, sevilla must sell him. The offer of more than 11 million did come in but They refused to sell him so now RIO threatened to sue them if they don't find an agreement with milan soon.

Heres something interesting and it also I think explains some things:
Today wolfsburg officials were in Brazil to negotiate for Nilmar. They proposed a bid of 15 million euros for the striker. Furthermore, Dzeko has yet to sign a new deal with Wolfsburg and their shopping for a new striker is very weird.
It also seems we had reached an agreement for Hernanes but it was stalled and we are now waiting to see if the Dzeko situation becomes better. Fenerbache have quickly rushed in with a 11M bid to see if they could sign hernanes while were stalling. The stalling could also mean that we could be waiting to sell Pirlo first before signing hernanes. At this point i have no idea.
Anyways: Its rumored if wolfsburg sign nilmar, they will give us the green light for dzeko. It seems Dzeko is frustrated at Wolfsburg and wants to come to milan. At first they promised him if he stayed one more year for CL football he could leave to milan and we could sign him next summer, however those plans seemed to have changed. We'll have more news soon.
But Galliani is in negotations right now with Sevilla so is Dzeko even our target anymore? I dont know. he'll cost us at least 20 million and wolfsburg won't beat around the bush like sevilla.
Fabiano will be much cheaper and if we sign him we could also sign hernanes. What do you guys think of this?
I think hernanes and fabiano over dzeko would be my preference. Sign Dzeko next summer.

Kaka’s move to Real Madrid from Milan was confirmed on June 8, 2009, in a deal that would see the Brazilian join the Spanish club for the next six seasons. The deal cost the 'Casa Blanca' a mammoth fee of over €65 million, which kicked off their spending spree this summer.
For the first time since the move was sealed, the wife of the player, Caroline Celico, had her say on the transfer, and more significantly the cost, something that she has declared is a sign from God.
“There are people out there who need our help,” Caroline stated in an interview, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
“I made a covenant with the Lord, that I was convinced in spirit to marry a virgin. After falling in love with Kaka, I thought that I would fail in doing this; however I told him clearly that I wanted to remain a virgin until marriage.
“It was a signal that I had respected the Lord, and now there is a sign from God, through Real Madrid.
“How can someone, in this period of crisis, be worth so much money? It is because God has put this money into the hands of Real Madrid, in order to recruit Kaka.
“From here we can open a church in Madrid, as there are people who must hear our words.”
Kaka and his wife are both evangelical Christians, who are involved with an organisation that preaches the word of the Lord. There is a video currently on Youtube which outlines their objectives through this mission, which they will be hoping to pursue further in Spain.

If Milan really are going through the courts to get Luis Fabiano for an insultingly low fee, then Susy Campanale is ashamed
Lord knows the Milan hierarchy have been embarrassing lately, but this really does take the cake. First they declare Luis Fabiano is their only transfer target, then refuse to raise the offer above a pathetic – by today’s standards - £12.5m for the Confederations Cup top scorer and number one Brazil striker. Now it emerges they may well be surreptitiously taking Sevilla to court via Rio, the company that owns 65 per cent of Fabiano’s contract. This is not cool.
When clubs start resorting to such dirty tactics, it feels deeply wrong and what’s more impossible suddenly to decry the behaviour of other sides, as Milan so famously did when Real Madrid tried to tap up Kaka in recent years. It is particularly unforgivable when Luis Fabiano would have been available for around £16m – hardly a huge figure – and the Rossoneri just pocketed £56m for Kaka.
That is money, by the way, that has not been spent at all. Oguchi Onyewu arrived on a free transfer, Thiago Silva was signed in January, while all the other newcomers like Massimo Oddo, Ignazio Abate and Davide Di Gennaro are returning from loan spells. Having lost Kaka, Paolo Maldini, Philippe Senderos and Andriy Shevchenko over the summer, it is no time to be penny-pinching like this. It’s embarrassing for what was once the biggest club in Europe to be massively out-spent by Genoa and Palermo. If they can balance the books, why can’t Milan?
Let us not even get started on the lack of world class reinforcements in defence or the inexplicable presence of Giuseppe Favalli. Adriano Galliani and Silvio Berlusconi aren’t just running this side into the ground, they are sullying its image at home and abroad. I never thought I’d say this, but at the moment I am embarrassed to be a Milanista.

Agree with you about Caroline. Why would God, any god for that matter as I don't want to get into religious debate give Real that kind of money to buy a footballer when there are people dying every day of hunger yet Real spend millions on players like it means nothing. Its not just a stupid thing to say but also an offensive thing to say.
I don't care what nationality he is to be honest, he's a very good player that would come at a relatively cheap price we should go after him. I knopw he's brazilian and a lot are worried about it, but whether we like it or not that is the market our management is going for and if they're so adamant about it why not get the best we can out of it for very cheap prices.
I don't agree with turning the entire team Brazilian while forgetting that we're an Italian club, but if you really look at the numbers, we'd have the same ammount of Brazilians we had a couple of years ago should we sign Hernanes and Fabiano so I don't really get why everyone is so opposed to it now. I don't agree with selling Pirlo and replacing him with Hernanes, but I do think that Hernanes would be a great signing, but not at the expense of Pirlo.
Regarding Hernanes, it appeared that he was going to be sold to Fener, but the player does not want to go to Turkey. So its either we pounce on the golden opportunity or let him slip away to some British or Spanish club

Aly has come out now and hit against Milan. Fabiano has also hit against Milan. We have been embarraced by two average players and being called cheap old useless by the planet. It is truly an embarracing time to be a milanfan.
I personally hope that by next season or the next after that Silvio leaves this club. I do not want him as president anymore or as a symbol of our club. I want us to get rid of him and Galliani and change the entire milan board. If presidents can no longer invest then the money should no longer go to a group of investors. F*ck finnivest.
Lets have elections for president, bring on a younger board and help improve Milan's image slowly and Italian footballs image slowly. We don't need these old farts who are absolutely useless running milan.
silvio doesn't even have to sell the whole club to bring in investment, most recently he turned down sheikh mohamad bin rashid al-maktoum bid for a 40% stake in the club, if silvio won't fund the club he should sell the 40% stake, i'm really not an advocate for spending crazy sums like madrid, chelsea& city can but for a big club to find it difficult to splash a mere 17m on fabiano, 13 on hernanes means they'r prepared to run down the club's status, never mind league positions

The reason why Milan are refusing to raise their £12.5m offer for Luis Fabiano may be a legal clause in his contract freeing him for that sum.
The Rossoneri saw their bid rejected by Sevilla and declared “insulting,” while the player’s agent confessed he was “furious” at the size of the proposal.
However, it is now rumoured that there is method to Milan’s madness, as they held negotiations with Rio – a company that owns 66 per cent of his contract.
The newspapers in Italy suggest that when Sevilla signed Luis Fabiano from Porto in 2005, there was a clause added in that they would have to sell if faced with an offer higher than £9m.
It is believed Rio will now take legal action to push through that clause and ensure the Selecao striker’s move to the more prestigious Milan.
Sevilla would like at least £16m to part with their hitman.
It is known that earlier this week Rossoneri directors met with Rio representatives, but insisted it was "a courtesy meeting."
If this is true, than its amazing and finally some good news. What do you think guys?

My first wish would be to sell Seedorf, Kalac and bring some fresh new blood in AC MILAN.
