Turns out the guy may not be very reliable at all. This is a problem with tuttomercatoweb -- there are times when they can post some silly things so one needs to be cautious in accepting at face value what they claim.
NOW tmw is running what they claim is an interview with Lazio president Claudio Lotito, in which he refers to the De Silvestri-to-Fiorentina rumors as (best try at translation) idiocy. He adds that he doesn't know if Corvino was in rome today (Corvino being Fiorentina's transfer dude) and that there was certainly no meeting with him about De Silvestri, especially given that he, Lotito, is currently in Cortina (a resort in the alps).

lorenzo is a quality, IMO one of the top 3 italian RB and he's 21. he'll easily become be the no.1 for years to come.
he also fits the milan mold for fullbacks, solid defensively but more a winger than anything whom attacks with tremendous pace.

Zola is apprantely interested in Oddo and negotations could begin soon as Oddo is pretty much forced to accept a transfer or not play. West ham isn't a bad deal either, so I hope he'll go. They say the transfer could be done by Friday this week.

We are interested In shalke's Rafina (23). He is imo one of the best upcoming wingbacks in the world and has the potential to be as good as D. Alves if not better. He is much much better than De S, but signing him is unrealistic as he'll probably cost around 20m euros. Juve and Barca are also very keen on him as well.
And finally, we also have a back up to Rafinha and De S if those deals are not possible. Julien Faubert from west ham. Its reported we could do a swap plus cash for the 26 year old french wing back. Zola is quite fond of Oddo and may be willing to let one of his wingbacks go in order to get him.

There are no good LBs out there right now that we could afford. The only one we had a chance at signing was Aly and he has moved to lyon. Bale is an option but I doubt we can sign him right now as we probably don't have the funds for his 15-20m price tag.
So Rb is our only option because more players are available and we can push zambro to the left. No problem.

Mediaset is reporting that Milan are looking into a trade with West Ham. Oddo for French RB Julien Faubert. Sounds like it'd be a straight trade but, as ever, it depends on whether Oddo is okay with the transfer.
