It doesn't make sense to have a player who's not gonna play and still earn on the team in Oddo. He's just going to destroy morale. If he is gonna be on the payroll, might as well use him rather than another. Oddo can play against the lower clubs when we need. And he's kind of proven in the CL.
We can't offload him either since he refuses to go. It's not for a lack of trying.

Following plenty of speculation in the Italian media, it appears Rafinha's move to Juventus never got off the ground...
Juventus transfer chief Alessio Secco has rubbished reports claiming the club had signed Brazilian defender Rafinha from German side Schalke.
On Wednesday night, reports emerging from Italy suggested the club had moved in for the right-back. Sky Sport Italia were convinced Rafinha had joined the Bianconeri for around €8 million.
However, those voices appear less than deft as one of the club's diginitaries denies the whole move.
"Rafinha? He is not our objective. He is a non-EU player and so we do not have any space for him in the team. We will not sign anyone for the right side [of the pich]," Secco told Calciomercato.it.
Juve have also been linked with Lyon defender Fabio Grosso. Noise coming from Turin this morning claimed a deal would be wrapped up tonight, but Secco was in no mood to confirm anything.
"I am in Monte Carlo, and I have nothing to say on Grosso," concluded the chief.

I agree with Zed, European clubs will not let their players go (with the exception of unwanted players) because there is not enough time to find a replacement. So even if (hypothetically) we wanted to sign someone, the potential selling club would not let player y go, unless we possibly offered someone in return

i always look out for those demonic and shocking aug31 transfers, don't think we will get anyone though... with the way things have gone, we could even be amongst those who make shock sales, hopefully not any of our key players.

He rarely plays, when he does is more often than not an embarassment. United 1-4 Liverpool and Burnley 1-0 United stand out, he was just awful in both. I think SAF has had enough of him. He and Nani are 2 of the worst transfers in EPL history. They make Sheva look great.
I was going a little over the top when I said he's not good enough for the Championship. He could maybe cut it at a very, very poor EPL tea, in a naff league, or in a decent Championship team. He looks lost against any half decent teams though. I would cry if we signed him.
Srna would be perfect at RB. He can get forward, and very versatile. Look for him tomorrow vs Barca. But yeah, he's out of Milan's price range

yeah we watched him for 7 games. Then signed him. not really shocking to be honest, as Milan is going to be more italian based in the future and signing these players is the way to go.
I think we need more of these signings as they will help our club in all aspects. Whether we sell them and make money or we produce great italian internationals.
Now we have, Zigoni, Baretta, veratti. More youth signings will take place, i'm quite sure during the year this number will double.
If you look at the Milan transfer page on the lega calcio site (or have done so for the last couple of windows), you'll note that the vast majority of the club's signings have been kids. This year, 16 player contracts have been registered. Of that 16, 4 are 'senior team' (Silva, Onyewu, Huntelaar, Roma), 5 if you include Zigoni. I recall the last couple of windows having similar percentages.

BS decison on Milan's part, both had the potential imo. They say we're looking towards the future and we're looking at young players then they go do something like this.
And it doesn't matter that they're buying practially every youngster from Serie B I'm 100% sure that not even one of them will ever come close to being a first team regular

Seriously, we practically have no bench! I'm surprised and saddened to see them go. why the **** did the management bring them in the first place? to waste a non-eu spot on Viudez so we'd have to wait a season to see Silva play? sometimes I wonder if this club is run by a bunch of idiots...
