And it doesn't matter that they're buying practially every youngster from Serie B I'm quite certain that not even one of them will ever come close to being a first team regular

I can't say i Fully disagree with their release, it seems like before we aare going to splash cash into the mercato, we are going to have a reduced list of players. Mark my words with more and more players leaving (the ones getting underserved cash), we will see the Zigonis and the berettas actually get playing time ahead of their 34-37 year old back ups. As much as i have bashed Berlu and Co. I Can't say i disagree with what he is trying to do in slowly offloading the Lucky b******s that get paid top dollar to sit on our bench. We will lose the likes of Seedorf/favalli/ambro/ and the goalies Dida/Storari/Roma over the next year and a half, watching the developpement of our youth: Abate, Silva, Zigoni, Albertazzi, Strasser... and buying the WC players over a base of younger players (as Juve did after relegation).
Interesting Tidbit, All 4 of our keepers contracts end after this year so lessn't worry about there age is we keep any one of them they will have a New, reworked, lesser contract

But yes we should of at least sold them to a bottom of the serie A side like Bari/parma in an effort to make the league more competitive, or at least spain for the opposite effect

I dont know. I think were only signing these youth players so we don't have to keep buying players in 2-3 years. We can be like barca depend on our youth system heavily while investing when we can. I guess thats what the plan is. But will it work? I doubt it. Our youth system is complete trash and the only player we've managed to develop who has been good is paloschi. The rest cannot even be called good.

Jumping to the defense of Di gennaro, when he was young he was really highly rated and was tearing up the primavera, he is not alone, aubemayang was also very highly rated, hell if Any team had Pep guardiola as a youth team manager they would be amazing. We need a guy like Maldini to coach the youth or a man of that stature to serve as an insurance policy on our youth investments.

I mean we only spent what 20-25 million tops this season on transfers and we got 8 players. That is quite good. Silvio spent nothing this season milan, which only means 2 things. Either hes spending next season or he's done spending period.
I hope he is going to continue investing though.
But players we already have in the bag are: Dzeko (20m), Paloschi (3-5 M).
all we have to do is spend the cash. Also next season we'll be able to sign a proper goalie as all our Keepers will be gone by then and a few other players as well like kaladze and oddo can be sold or offloaded.
This season will be a tough one but I think next summer we will be making some big moves in the market. Or that is how it usually goes with us. We spend one summer, take it easy one summer and so forth.

I absolutely agree with you - I badly feel for him. one silly mistake ruined it all for him. but that's life, we all have to move on! if he goes to Dynamo it will be MUCH better for him...
