Real Madrid Galactico Kaka: I Was Happy At Milan, But Then They Sold Me
The star has reflected on his Milan exit, and he insists it was the club who decided to sell...

Former Milan ace Kaka has claimed it was the Italian side's decision to cash Spanish gold rather than his own will that pushed him to Real Madrid.

The Brazilian joined the new Galacticos in a mega-deal that saw the Italians earn around €66 million from the sale. Kaka has spoken about his San Siro exit, insisting the move was instigated by Milan.

"I always gave Milan the responsibility to decide on my exit when other clubs made an offer," Kaka told AS.

"I liked Milan and I was always happy there, but then the moment arrived when our objectives were no longer the same and they sold me.

"In six years many offers arrived, including from Real Madrid, but the club only decided to sell me this season."

Reports in Italy at the time of the sale claimed the Rossoneri sold Kaka in order to balance their books after pressure from the club's owners.

Yeah right its just Kaka's fault not the fact that Silvio doesn't want to bank roll Milan anymore and the fact that we're broke.

It explains why all the Kaka money was used to get new players, like Onyewu, Abate and Di Gennaro rolleyes.gif

It also explains why Milan was in such a rush to sell him that we got scalped on the deal, seeing as Inter got 56m for Ibra + Eto'o and Hleb. I see how you got the idea that it was all Kaka's fault that we sold him.

The club had been whoring him out since January to get the cash that Silvio does not want to invest anymore, so do what you want wear your rose tinted glasses and keep fooling yourself that this is the same Milan that does not turn its back to their players like they did to Kaka and Paolo, and now will most probably be doing to Pirlo if Chelsea are willing to cough up the cash rolleyes.gif But I suppose the players are the money hungry traitors and not our beloved club management rolleyes.gif

Well, given that Kaka was given huge raises every time he came out with 'I admire Real', I don't think for a moment that he's an innocent victim in all this.

That said, management are far from blameless either.

Yes but all players do that, he never directly asked for contract extensions and pay raises either. Had Milan not been willing to sell him to begin with we wouldn't be having this conversation as I'm 100% sure he would have stayed the duration of his contract if not longer

Bluesummers
We make a bid for Dzeko.

Marc Janko +15M. We plan on buying the player first and sending him there LOL.

If that doesn't work we are going to bid borriello +15M for dzeko.

This deal is pretty close as wolfsburg seem to be willing to talk for a reasonable price.

I am really tired mad.gif of reading reports day and night about Milan being linked with every single player in the world unsure.gif . Reports are flying everywhere but we have yet to sign a player. It is getting very annoying. I've been ready this forum for about two months now (probably the best around) and today I decided to register because I just feel like I had to be part of this.

The media and Galliani made us look like a joke.
Hopefully thing will get better soon. I am wishing that the Dzeko reports are true dry.gif
I also read that if Pirlo was to leave we would go for Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder as an alternative, then again it is from Goal.com sad.gif
What happened to Hernanes??
One last thing I truly think we should push for Gareth Bale, he is young (20) tall and very athletic. I think we could use him smile.gif

nuh
welcome to milanfan i agree with you 90% but not Bale thing Bale is not really good and when he plays for totenham all he does is try and fix hair rather then play football
Tennie
The Sneijder-if-Pirlo-leaves actually comes originally from Gazzetta dello Sport, so at least it's a rumor from a generally reliable paper.

I wouldn't mind Sneijder either, but problem is, he should be a replacement for Seedorf and not Pirlo.
Tennie
Okay, here's a roundabout story for you. smile.gif

The transfer ticker on the GERMAN version of eurosport states that a Milan scout was at the red bull salzburg-dinamo zagreb game yesterday. There've been rumors about Mark Janko but he only played the last 20 mins of the game. Wonder if the scout could've been looking at someone else.

That would never happen, they would only sign one IF Pirlo left. That's the condition Milan is currently in. Don't get me wrong I would absolutely love it if we got both, but sadly this is the reality of our situation, if by some miracle we manage to get Dzeko that would probably be it for our summer

Fabiano: Milan need to call Sevilla
Thursday 30 July, 2009
Jose Fuentes, the agent of Luis Fabiano, has told Milan to call Sevilla if they have any intention of signing his client.

Milan had a £12.5m bid turned down for the Brazil international earlier this summer and walked away from negotiations.

However, this morning the Italian Press understands Milan are preparing another offer, albeit through unconventional channels.

That report contrasts with a statement made by Milan's lawyer yesterday evening in which he said the negotiations aren't being resurrected.

“If Milan said the deal was blocked then I have to think that it is the end, and that's how it is. I am still hopeful to go to Milan, but if they said that then even my hopes have died,” Fuentes told calciomercato.it.

“However, if Milan really have the will to sign Fabiano, then they must speak with [Sevilla President] Del Nido directly and reach an agreement with him.

“I spoke to Luis and he was disappointed that the move didn't go through, but life goes on. Never say never in football, so we can still have hope,” Fuentes concluded.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd rather press for Dzeko instead of Fabiano. Hope Milan disregard thoses comments
Tennie
This is one thing Fishdoll actually gives management a fins up for. Sevilla's asking price for Fabiano was way too high. Let him stay in Spain.

Fishdoll would prefer Dzeko or Huntelaar (in that order) as strikers, De Silvestri possibly in defense (can we give them oddo in exchange?) and Montolivo in midfield. Seen Hernanes and he's good but meh, don't think he's worth all the hype and, well, Fishdoll's already GOT a favorite Brazilian team (Cruzeiro -- curse you VERON!). smile.gif

Sneijder to Inter?
Thursday 30 July, 2009
Wesley Sneijder could be leaving Real Madrid this summer and Inter would be a good option for him, the player’s agent revealed.

The Dutch midfielder is one of the hottest names on the market at the moment but wouldn’t mind staying in Madrid.

“The Galacticos have built a team which can compete in all the competitions, but you need good players to rotate,” said agent Soren Lerby.

“So Wesley doesn’t feel out of place because he wants to give everything for them. At the same time a big player needs to play regularly and that may not happen at the Bernabeu.

“I know Inter missed out on Aleksander Hleb and I believe Jose Mourinho could do with a quality player in that position.

“If Wesley was to leave Spain he would only do it for one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and the Nerazzurri are one of those…”

The Spaniards would probably agree to offload the former Ajax ace but their demands may be slightly over the top.

Considering that Inter have already signed Thiago Motta they would probably prefer to invest in a different type of player, so Sneijder would only join them if the Special One requested him.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess we will also loose him to our rivals if they decide to push for him

Friendly: Milan lose again
Thursday 30 July, 2009
After a disgraceful 4-1 defeat to Bayern Munich, Milan have registered yet another defeat on penalties against Boca Juniors.

The Rossoneri, with most of their best players on the pitch, didn’t impress against a side packed with youngsters rather than regulars.

The defeat came on penalties in the Audi Cup 3rd/4th place play-off but the Milanisti had been leading for most of the game – before Boca Juniors found the net at the 87 minute. Andrea Pirlo and Alexandre Pato were the ones to miss their penalties.

Fishdoll would like Marchetti or Consigli. Ochoa needs to stay where he is so he can do those nifty insurance adverts for spanish-language telly. smile.gif

Fishdoll's having a hard time coming up with a good RB/LB that's remotely reasonable. There aren't a lot of REALLY good ones out there to begin with. Can we timewarp Il Capitano and make him 15 years younger?

Milan Must Show More Character - Arrigo Sacchi

Milan were humiliated by Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening in the Audi Cup, losing 4-1 to the Bavarians. The Rossoneri have endured a string of four consecutive defeats in pre-season and their former coach, Arrigo Sacchi, commented on their troubles.

"Thus far, we have seen the worst of Milan, due to a programme that was not suited to building up the team. I believe it will be difficult for them to buy players, the attack could remain as it is," he explained to Radio Radio TV.

"The problem is not Pato, but that the club is constricted by the long contracts of some players."

Nonetheless, 63-year-old Sacchi insists all is not lost for the Serie A giants.

"In football it is OK to do badly at this time and then have a positive reaction in the championship. AC Milan should show character and not fall into a collective depression."

Sacchi had plenty of success coaching Milan from 1987-1991, winning the Serie A title and two European Cups.

Ronaldinho, Dida, kaladze, pirlo, nesta, ambrosini, gattuso, flamini, zambrotta, janku, seedorf all big earners. Pirlo and dinho top them all.

Adriano Galliani Constructing Bid To Buy AC Milan - Report

As the Silvio Berlusconi's Milan continue to struggle for funds amidst the current financial crisis, it seems work is currently underway for Adriano Galliani to mount a takeover bid.

The Rossoneri’s lack of action on the transfer market has caused obvious unrest amongst the fans, who have seen their side begin the pre-season with a run of four consecutive defeats.

With the grumblings set to grow in volume, it is believed that Galliani is working overtime to pave the way for new owners to carry the club forward and bring it from its knees.

According to Tuttosport, the man affectionately known as 'Uncle Fester' is planning to head a group of Israeli businessmen who are ready to invest a substantial sum in the Via Turati club.

It remains to be seen how this move will unfold as Milan continue to struggle in the build-up to the new season.

Detailed report:

QUOTE
And if the AC Milan Silvio Berlusconi (and Adriano Galliani) became the Milan Adriano Galliani (just)? Possible. Scenario is not imminent, perhaps, but possible. On which it is starting to work. Because the situation at home rossonera is becoming gradually more difficult. The last championship was lived in the shadows, to dry any ambitions of success. Also next season - according to the present state of the facts - does not promise anything good in relation to the glories of the past. It certainly is not game as hoped.

The challenge by supporters of the manifested, impietosa now for months. And there is no doubt that embarrassing performance so far by the group of Leonardo - even four consecutive defeats - but do not make the moment even more difficult, tending all'insostenibile. Who is close to Silvio Berlusconi, has found bitterness - the situation - and growing detachment. And there are those who ensure that its resolutions to "less reckless, more peaceful 'may also include the ability to" get rid "of a Milan that passion is and will remain, but no longer entail a commitment of time and in terms Cheap. The recent acquisitions campaign, moreover, is a tangible demonstration of what is coming unless the desire to make sensational financial disbursements in favor of Milan. Also dictates the inherent confidence to under 23, with good pace Leonardo (not appreciated), should read this.

And that's explained, then, the scene of a scenario to take place next. Adriano Galliani, vice president and managing director vicar, is in fact working on the possibility of detecting the club. He means, as the summit of a group consisting mainly of a group of Israeli manufacturers. That was a change of ownership in the sign of continuity. Also able to secure new, impressive resources in the most titled club in the world. This is a revised and corrected version of a "floor" on which had already Raisonné few years ago. Of that group would include the Ligresti family, and it is possible that the well-known group (in this case the area is that real estate) can come into play.
