You know who left Serie A that would of made a hell of a difference today Rosina... Personally i hate it when good italaian talent goes elsewhere in europe. I hate more the fact that he is off wrecking sh*t in Ukraine :@

GK, LB, RB, CB, AM please. Storari was okay, but not enough, both full backs are useless. Nesta and Silva are good, but we need a 3rd so we can at least drop one if they keep playing like they did today. Ronaldinho was naff, we need another creative player who is consistant.

I agree with you there, but 3rd choice CB is not a priority, we still have Bonera and imo he is good enough to do that. I also think Abbiati should be good for another season or so, but yeah, we need a top class keeper soon

I forgot about Bonera actually, so I agree that another CB isn't a priority, he's good enough for cover.

yeah he's good enough for cover.

inter's summer:
milito: big game player(has a knack for scoring against milan)
motta: consistent performer, can muscle a team forward
eto'o: 3times sfrican footballer of the yr, his goal record speaks too, ECL, la liga, copa del rey, africa nations cup etc
sneijder: 2la ligas, dutch league, consistent in national team......
lucio: german league, confed cup, copa america............
WINNERS

milan's summer:
abate: gained 1st team experience at the lower clubs, just returned from relegated torino
di gennaro: loans& co-ownerships with lower clubs
oddo: recently had a poor loan spell with bayern
zigoni: unknown talented youngster with a famous dad
onyewu: belgian league..fairly consistent/inconsistent over the years. FINALLY entering his peak at 27. decent signing(free ofcourse)
huntelaar: bags&bags of goals, did ok at madrid but can he carry us? bargain buy.. yay! good for us!
storari: decent goalie.
roma: he's a keeper, they play forever&peak late but i think he's had some decent yrs behind him already

guess this explains the thumping we got........

What exactly is wrong with Bonera anyway? Seems like he's been injured forever. unsure.gif

There seems to be no surprises. we're heading in to the new season with what we've got. absolutely brutal sad.gif every transfer window we seem to be doing worse, and less.

Hello and welcome to Gaz! smile.gif

Bonera is still recovering from what I think I'm translating correctly as 'sports hernia'. He's gone through all sorts of rehab, etc, and has started doing some training though I don't think he's training with the team.

For what it's worth, the Italian media (mediaset, tuttomercatoweb, etc) is reporting that the Rafinha-to-Bayern deal has been called off - but that Schalke's Magath is saying that Rafinha is not leaving anyway.
Zed.D
Oh I thought the transfer window was going to be closed in a few hours but it's 1 day and a few hours! COME ON Galliani, signing a LB is the least you can do!

Don't hold your breath, the coach has already said: “We had a very long talk with the directors and I don’t think we’ll be buying anyone. Now is the time to react. We must prove quickly who we are and what Milan represents. I expect the best.”

I have lost my all remaining hope on the transfer window.
I think we will have to fight the rough atleast until January. sad.gif sleep.gif dry.gif
Zed.D
I understand you guys have lost hope, but we seriously NEED a LB and we even tried to sign one back in early transfer days. I'm still hopeful a LB will arrive. how can they sit back and watch our non-existent LB? don't they fear the wrath of the fans? such a signing could calm things down a bit and also give the team a great boost. my fingers are crossed smile.gif

Inter's transfers have been amazing. Give us those 5 players and we would be really good too. Money wins titles ..

those morons are going about it all the wrong way. if they want milan's future to be dependent on italian younsters,
why for f*cks sakes don't they just put in the funds into our academy or built more in different locals, instead the dum f*cks have spent almost eu10m on 17yrs old boys and buying others out of co-ownerships.
whe could use those funds buying established players for now, else the team'll get ***** by juve& roma too.

the whole co-ownership thingy is just stupid to me, for instance genoa payed between eu2-4m for 50%borriello and after one grand 19goal season, we rush in to buy the same 50% for eu10m(meaning we rate him at eu20m)
now paloschi's gone out too& parma are already singin out how hard/much it'll cost milan to get him back. why not just send him on loan& keep 100% of his contract with parma simply paying his wages

and get the best coaches to train our lads.

the idiots could av loaned gourcuff to fiorentina, torino udinese and promise him first team football if he plays well but instead they agreed a eu15m deal/loan with bordeaux, isn't it obvious that by the end of last season he was worth way more than that, not to mention he could av been useful for us now(post kaka)

We've been ranting about the same things for months now ganney. But what is so obvious to all of us is obviously deluding the guys that actually have a say in running the club... into the ground might I add

Leo: 'We're not the worst team'

Leonardo insists the derby humiliation is not the end of Milan’s dreams. “We’re not the worst team in the world.”

Last night’s game was meant to boost confidence for a Scudetto push, but instead the 4-0 thrashing at the hands of local rivals Inter raised many more questions.

“It’s true that a win here would’ve improved our self-belief, but this defeat does not stunt our growth as a team,” commented the Coach.

“We cannot make calculations now, nor define exactly what Milan are. In two games we have done both positive and negative things.

“This is a heavy blow, but we are not the worst team in the world.”

Leonardo complained repeatedly that he needed reinforcements for the full-back positions after Inter tore Gianluca Zambrotta and Marek Jankulovski to shreds, but he and the fans will be left disappointed.

“We had a very long talk with the directors and I don’t think we’ll be buying anyone. Now is the time to react. We must prove quickly who we are and what Milan represents. I expect the best.”

President Silvio Berlusconi had hailed the Rossoneri as Scudetto contenders and was in no mood for comment after the game.

“What can I possibly say after conceding four goals?”

f*ck you silvio!

im sorry but these past 2 seasons have been the worst years of my football life i would assisinate berlu if it meant having KAKA-sheva-Crespo back and that legenddary defence how times change sad.gif

sigh .... any psychological help guys my head hurts

We will bounce back starting with the Livorno game! and then we will buy 1 or 2 full backs in the January transfer window! they can't go on like this. new players WILL have to arrive in January. I'm ready to bet on it!
Jack Sparrow
I agree. If Milan don't make any tactical changes, or don't discover some new dimension in this team before November we WILL buy in January.

This club CANNOT survive without CL, and if we played like Saturday we won't get past the first round. Lest we forget Leo knows zilch about European football as a coach.
Bluesummers
I"ll make a bet that we won't buy a single play in January. Not with that pathetic, Grade A piece of sh*t as our president. F*ck Silvio, We need someone who can run this sh*t properly. Enough with this Ac Joke with Galliani as the jester and scrooge mcduck running the balances.

I think Leo as a coach is good, the issue here is resources, most of our players have been on a decline for the past 2 - 3 seasons, we only managed to survive coz of Kaka's form and his ability to lift the team spirits..its also noteworthy to point out that we were only competitive in CL (coz that's all the mgt cared for), we struggled in serie A, non-starters in Italian cup...

I think i've written on this forum in the past that we needed to have gotten rid of Gattuso, Pirlo and Ambrosini, I vouched for Gourcuff back then but nay! most people on this forum were blinded by past victories (esp the 07 CL)..bottom line is that we need NEW YOUNG DUDES!!! (by young i mean i'd be comfortable with anyone <=26)

I only blame the management for the mess we are in, for the lack os consistency, for the lack of depth, for the lack of speed, for the lack of being competitive in all competitions..this has led to loss of pride, loss of supporters, loss of revenue, loss of vision, ...its a vicious cycle that i don't see us freeing ourselves from given the current management's attitude...

I think we will sign someone in January, we usually do, however it is less likely to be a Ronaldo and more likely to be a Zigoni or Berreta

Well them that really isn't a signing (or else we could easily boast approx. 10+ signings alone this summer)

Useless / Unused signings = No Signings!
whoarethepatriots
Signing players like Zigoni is a good idea, i just wish we had implemented a strategy like that since 2005, because then the young players would have matured and could be slotted into the first team, whereas now, we have to wait a few years for them to develop. The current policy is a case of too little too late

I Agree, but despite signing young talents being a good idea.
It is not going to help our current decline! (and by current I mean past few years to present)
whoarethepatriots
I bet if we played the entire Primavera squad, they would put more effort in than most of the senior players.

hmm, maybe not, he'll likely just train with the big boys this year, maybe get sent on co-ownership to a serie b team/candidate, if we're lucky he'll do well and we'll get ripped off again when buyin back his contract

It's really sad, i don't exept anything this season from Milan... It will be good if we manage to qualify for CL next year but life go on, i hope somthing will hapend next year, somthing same like it was under Arigo Sacchi when he bring glory and players to Milan.
Leonardo is good manager for B&G coes he didn't ask money for transfers and we could never sign a WC Manager without money for trasfers...
It's shame for B&G all this years we shined and now they are leting all glory to go away coes of fcking 200 - 300 Mil €.
Let's see what will hapend next in this circus called ONLLY FOOL (Leonardo) AND HORSES (B&G)
