I think Pato should maybe get upped to 40 a week (he earns 20 now I think). He deserves that much. With a promise of a pay review when the season ends.

I think it's totally ridiculous to pay Ambro that much. He's going to turn 33, and he's certainly not worth that much. Either he's content to renew with the ammount he has or he can forget about it. So first we got rid of Kaka, and now we're going to splash cash on player wages, for the oldest players in our squad.
If this does not mean our management has gone crazy I don't know what has to happen in order for people to finally see it. Ambro is just not good enough to earn that much, I don't even think he's even good enough to start let alone earn that kind of salary

Ambro at this moment in time should be accepting a revised contract that maintains his current wage, which isn't at all shabby let me tell you. He's not some spring chicken top rated player.

You have some new info on the transfer, because its been very quite on the Dzeko front.
And I'm pretty sure the only reason Wolfsburg are not willing to sell is because Galliani won't meet their asking price, not because they want to keep Dzeko at all costs

I don't think there is a price for Dzeko at this point. I don't wanna defend Galliani here, but I simply think Wolfsburg really wants to keep him. No matter what.

Rumour has it that, with the Dutch contingent leaving Madrid, we have first refusal on the castoffs. I reckon if we can get one or two of Huntelaar, Robben, or Sneijder we'll have made some solid steals. The acquisition of RObben could become even more critical if Leonardo does indeed follow through with his desire to play a 4-3-3 tridente.

Understandable... but if the player himself wants to leave so badly, so much so that he signs a deal with another club. What's really the point of keeping him against his will?

Personally I don't see why Carlo would want Pato so badly, not as much as the English press are making it out to be. He's never been a big fan of Pato and was always more than happy to drop him the second Pippo started to show even the smallest ammount of a scoring touch.
They never appeared to have such a special relationship either with Carlo criticising him at every given opportunity.
And Carlo himself has not said anything about Pato or any other Milan player for that matter. I just think that this is the media's attempt to stir things up. Now that the most interesting transfers have already happened (Kaka CR) and not draged out throughout the entire summer they're going to look for things to fill their pages, and what more obvious then the new Chelsea coach trying to lure some of his former star players to the Premier League?

I don't believe we're really going to look for a keeper. Abbiati had a good season and sadly that's enough for our management to give him a new contract. Not taking into account the fact that it could have been a 1 off last season and he'll have a bad one next season.
That coupled with the fact that we have Calamity Dida and Zelijko 'The Spider' Kalac as reserves, Galliani will be happy to point out that we're more then covered in that area
Indeed, the likelihood of that particular deal happening is low, it's more reassuring that we're at least planning to make plans for progress.
I do reckon, though, that Abbiati can do a decent enough job between the sticks for another season, but a replacement will be needed sooner rather than later.

Basically
So while Real are signing Kaka, CR and Inter are going for Benzema and Carvalho and Juve are signing Diego, Milan are doing this
It's not necessarily a bad thing that we're taking our time in the transfer market. Better to let Leonardo get a feel for the team and identify replacements.
