I think he'll flop big time. We'll see. Also, why do they consider him to be an Alonso replacement, have they even seen him play?
It confused me as well.

He has to pass the medical first. He's been injured big chunks of the last two years so this may be a little more than the formality it usually is.

Agreed, we're a midfielder and a fullback short. Too bad Berlu and Co only see the attack as the area that needed an additional player

Reports: Milan have Huntelaar
Wednesday 5 August, 2009Milan say they already know who their striker will be and all hints point towards Real Madrid's Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
Today President Silvio Berlusconi held a Press conference to declare Andrea Pirlo was off the market and he would be signing “a proven goalscorer.”
Later this afternoon, Pirlo admitted, “we already know who that striker is, but we can't tell you!”Now the media in Italy believes the target is Huntelaar rather than Sevilla hitman Luis Fabiano.
The Dutch international is no longer needed at Real Madrid and a move to Stuttgart fell through last week.
Milan had originally tried to take him on loan, but have been convinced to offer £13m plus a three-year contract worth £3m per season.Huntelaar is expected in Italy for his medical on Thursday to complete the transfer.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bold parts should be enough to convince you han

It's only speculation, no one from either club has said anything. Do not jump to conclusions, I think Milan fans have been burned one too many times, and should not be so gullible.
I'll believe it when I see it. Like Tennie said, she won't believe it until she sees the player holding the shirt and I'm 100% with her on this

Marca just confirm the deal also!!
Confirmation from Spain, Huntelaar at Milan
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (25) to play in Milan next season. This is confirmed by the Spanish daily Marca, which speaks of an agreement reached between the two companies on a base of 15 million and a contract for 3 years to the player. In this way the club continues Madrilenian operations outgoing and Milan won the Dutch bomber at a price much lower than when it was purchased in January from Ajax.

Just like the Italian press Marca is speculating that its a done deal.
Please do not jump to conclusions, like I said in my post above, we've all been burned one too many times recently. Even after the official site confirmed signings, the management managed to screw it up so just be patient

Believe me on this, its done. We had acually signed him last week. We were just waiting for the "ok" from silvio and also to find out how much money we currently have for our other targets. There is no way this deal will fall through, especially given the circumstances of our relations with madrid.

no the fabiano was a smoke screen LOL. The only reason we had that deal in place was so the media couldn't come out and say we had an agreement to sign him earlier. Galliani always has two targets to choose from so we never who he really is signing. Also you gotta remember that Silvio makes the final decision. He said no to fabiano already once at 18m. What makes you think hes going to say yes now or sevilla lower their offer to meet our demands.

@mishie, think about it man. Meeting takes place with silvio and then we all of a sudden fly to spain and finalize the deal? LOL! No what happened was we had an agreement and G said lets wait and see if silvio is okay with it. Same thing happened with cisskho, but silvio said no.
So the only way that this deal could be off is if silvio pulls the plug and says no. (which i highly doubt) But anything can happen as has been seen so where your coming from is also respectable. But lets move on shall we, I'm not for bickering
So i'm not saying its a 100% finished but If this deal doesn't go through then i'm going to stop posting updates in the transfer thread, you have my word on that.
