Both sides make valuable points, but problem is we tend to go to extremes which drag us into a one-dimensional explanatory concept.

Brazil boss Mano Menezes has hailed Alexandre Pato's "extraordinary quality", but says the forward must resolve the injury problems that have hampered his start to the season.
The 23-year-old was part of the Selecao's silver medal-winning side at the Olympics during the summer, but has yet to make an official appearance for AC Milan this season due to an abductor complaint.
The talented attacker has seen his early career blighted by injuries, but Menezes has stressed that the striker still has a big part to play for his national team once he resolves his current fitness problems.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "In my Brazil Pato has played very little. Despite this, however, he is the second-best goalscorer of the team, which means that his quality is extraordinary. I'm looking forward for his return on the field, but the more important thing is that he heals once and for all."
Pato was restricted to just 17 appearances for the Rossoneri last season due to a string of injuries, and while Menezes maintains that he is still in his plans, he admitted he is baffled by the former Internacional man's continued problems.
"In my opinion his constant physical problems are not due solely to bad luck," added the 49-year-old. "I talked about Pato with my medical staff and they told me that he has no structural abnormality, so he is not a player destined to be injured. Therefore, we need to understand why there are so many accidents.
"Pato can return to be great, but this negative moment must end. I still look at him for my national team."

Rumor has it Pato is being lined up for an exit this January. Given his deal is expiring in 2014 and the club wont be able to provide him with a contract similar to what Chelsea are offering him.
Wont be surprised to see him leave, nevertheless, hope these rumors are false.

LOL, if he ends up leaving for free when we could have sold him for €35 million last January it would be an epic fail.

Nice wee surprise today. Pato is on Twitter doing a question and answer with Milan fans, and hey presto he answered mine.
I told him his loyalty to the club has been impressive and asked what kept him here despite the offers, and he said:
"Hi Danny, all the people working at #ACMilan are really kind and that is why I love being here so much. It's like a family"

Xabi Alonso also just missed one real bad at 1-1.

The pitch was awful because of rain at Levante. must have had something to do with that.
acid911
Nov 11 2012, 11:58 PM
True.

For better of for worse, Xabi's missed penalty did not have as big a direct impact on the match as Pato's. I know that he would miss it as soon as the camera zoomed in on his face. And the silly state we are in, I knew a 2nd goal was coming after the chance to draw level came and went.
This penalty miss was just the excuse our noodle-legged defense needed to allow for the 2nd goal. They've allowed teams to bury us for far less, now that I think of it. Heck, our worst defender by far is the our captain, every other Sunday. Bonera.

Had the team shown more grit and held on till the half-time whistle, I still had hope.
I mean, penalty miss or not, finding a win from 0-1 down is regulation stuff the this level of topflight football.
han2503
Nov 12 2012, 11:00 AM
lol, can't believe that the penalty miss is even being discussed as the reason for our loss!!
Pato won a soft penalty that in most cases wouldn't have been given anyway. Sure he missed it but in reality our performance didn't even warrant the goal we managed to sneak in and had we drew by some luck it would have only meant another excuse for Galliani to keep Allegri around for a few more weaks
Jack Sparrow
Nov 12 2012, 11:01 AM
I expect unless Allegri resigns, he will get a slap on his wrists and told to shape up. The management know they can't support a new coach with new signings or a brand new project so...

Question: are Pato and Babs still together?
Question 2: Was she really pregnant or was that BS? Doesn't look all that up the duff to me.
Question 3: Last season cameramen obsessively showed her during our home games. From a camera on the opposite stand. Facing her. Now she never gets shown, and only Fester does - from an obscure angle from the side. She only gets shown if she happens to be in the same shot as Unc. Any reason for both the change of angle and subject?
Jack Sparrow
Nov 12 2012, 02:28 PM
- I think they are still together.
- Perhaps there was an abortion or it was just her getting heavy
- Must be a conscious decision. Besides the Berlusconis are not too popular at the moment. And Uncle Fester, while we might rage against him, it's a lot like how you would rage against you favourite uncle. When it all falls together, he's the first guy to get the hugs.

Pirlo's request was pretty simple. 3 year contract. Money wasn't even the issue as he's currently getting half of what he did at Milan
But Galliani suddenly decided to implement a 1 year only contract for above 30s as if everyone's case is the same. Allegri also had a huge part of course but let's not get into it because I have so many issues with this guy these days I can barely stand to look at him when the camera pans to him during games

Do you honestly believe money wasn't even an issue?

Let's say Pirlo would have earned 1/3 of what he earned every season here, and the management gave him a 3-year deal. Would the sucker have accepted it? Or how about getting in line like every other over-30 player, take it one season after the next, and do the talking on the footballing pitch? Every player near his age or performance level had to take an year-long contract, even Paolo.
He only went to Juventus, because they were practically the only one willing to pay him the millions he needed. Not many Italian clubs would have took the gamble. And the guy's practically too timid (in his game play, that is) to try his hands at foreign clubs and their radically different style of play!
