just wondering. what do we think of pato's moppy, sloppy, rag head look he's sporting these days?

i say this sort of facetiously, but i think it's a good sign that he doesn't gel/spray his hair before matches, unlike some other spanish and portuguese attackers like to do.

Maybe it's a manifestation of his character: unlike the premadonnas of the Iberian peninsula, Pato's not shallow!

I'm loving his current look. I hated his look in the first two games of last season (Siena/Inter).

Well the heart thingy was good for the first match, when he scored his first goal for Milan. For subsequent matches it was both cheesy and a bit girlish, so I am glad that's done and dusted. And I do think he needs a signature celebration now that he is getting on his way to the peak of his career.

Well that was the mop top being born. And that's ugly as well. Imo if you have curly hair and are a man, then you shouldn't let that thing grow longer then a cm. Otherwise it will take on a life of it's own

too true. But Pato looked like a pencil when he shaved his head at the end of the 08/09 season. I can appreciate trying to grow it a little, it seems as though most players that come to italy start letting the shag go. He just needs to keep it short to short medium. But for some reason I am also liking his 'don't give a f**k' mop head. haha.

Lets hope Pato doesn't get all caught up in copying the flashy Robinho mo-hawk, like Neymar and Andre did. I have a feeling Kevin-Prince Boateng will.

and btw on his celebration: after the heart, it seems 1) both his hands pointed like guns is a recurring motif with him. Either that or 2) his hands at his sides palms out in a kind of 'look at what i've done' gesture. Then it's followed by a few fist pumps and hugs.

...BUT, with Robinho and Ronaldinho in our team, I am eager to see if Pato has got any samba dancing skills! With Robinho and Dinho almost certainly performing a few tandem post-goal dance celebrations, there's gonna come a point where Pato has no excuse not to be the third and perform one of the classic trio brazilian samba dance moments.

It's good that he's bulked up, part of his problems last season were probably because his body couldn't handle all the games and the rough defenders fouling him on a consistant basis.

We'll see, imo if him and Nesta stay injury free we'll have an even bigger chance to win at least 1 trophy next season

Last season we were close to unbeatable when both Nesta and Pato played, while we rarely won a game when both were out. This shows the importance of these players. Also it shows the lack of depth we had last season. Now we got Robinho, Ibrahimovic, Papastathopoulos and Yepes, I believe we won't be in complete trouble when Nesta and Pato are out like it was last season. Of course, still the difference between with or without will be noticed, and it will make it tougher to win the games. Indeed, if they stay fit (almost) whole season, we are favourites for those nice prizes (surely for the Scudetto).

It would be nice if Pato is now less injury prone now he has grown and become stronger. Also, now he would be even a better CF. I already saw him as an excelletent CF, who wasn't as weak as most people believe. It's nice to see he now has become stronger (which I expected to happen considering his age). Pato has got a good header, so now he will be even more dangerous. Yay!

The bulking up I believe, he's been looking a lot bigger lately. But the growth spurt in height sounds strange, did we give him some miracle grow or something?

Well a male is suppoed to keep gaining height until the age of 21, while a female keeps gaining height until the age of 18. At least that's what I keep hearing, don't know if it's a myth, but it would explain his current height as a final growth spurt...

I learned it a long time ago. Teenage girls are taller than boys, but boys will grow in height longer while at later age girls their breasts will grow. So guys don't have the hurry to grow so soon so fast.

In the past and the present there have been marriages that started at the age of 18 or 19 and lasted for eternity; so I would not take the situation so plain. But appearently, I read his ex-wife wasn't happy about his partying and life. It isn't a good indicator.

I wouldn't be so sure, again. I have some examples in mind that would prove it otherwise. Anyway, I'm not so happy to read about the whole thing. Looks like Pato was the one who caused the divorce and to me, it makes the boy look a bit less perfect.

I'm happy he got divorced. Having to live an unhappy life with his wife would have affected his performance on the pitch.
