Ibrahimovic
Ronaldinho - Robinho - Pato
Pirlo - Flamini

That is at least 1 forward too much. 2 midfielders? unsure.gif

17:16 - According to rumors collected by writing MilanNews.it, Zlatan Ibrahimovic would have agreed to cut the employment of approximately 20-25%. Meanwhile, getting ready to Milanello as the Swede would be expected by Saturday at the Sports Center Carnoustie

Yeah I know.
We also know Robinho's not coming so I'd play like this :

Ibrahimovic
Dinho - Pirlo - Pato
Ambro - Flamini

Here's an official one for you.

Milan have just deposited the contract of Adria Carmona with the league. He's the Barcelona youth player that's been discussed the last couple of days.

Nothing about it on the club website yet but there is on the league website (when you transfer a player in you must deposit his contract with the league. they keep official track.) : link

19:10 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as reported by Sky Sport 24, took 24 hours of time to respond to the offer proposed by Milan.

Sportmediaset posts all the details of deal: 40m to Barcelona to be paid in 3 years; 8m to Zlatan in a 4-year contract. It's important though, to monetize from the sales of Huntelaar and, apparently, Flamini.

I swear, if we sell Flamini, I'll be mad again. We finally have a decent midfield, selling the Frenchman would put us back to square one. mad.gif

19:26 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not meeting the training session of Barcelona, which began at 19. Ulteriore indizio che la trattativa è in uno stato avanzato. Further evidence that the negotiation is at an advanced stage.

If we're spending 40MM on the swede but wouldn't spend a penny on Dzeko, then someone needs to sort out their priorities.

I highly doubt we'll sell flamini to pay for his sale. He's been in allegri's plans from day 1. Its just rumours made up by the media.

Hunt sale+berlu= ibra

This is berlu's transfer, we'll help out but he'll pay the majority of it.

Berlu doesn't want Dzeko. He wants Ibra. Its as simple as that. W/O Berlu we can't afford to buy either or pay either.

I personally don't think we've paid 40m. I think its somewhere around 25m. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

suit yourself. I'm personally tired of cheering for garbage players like Huntelaar who stand on the field and do f*ck all just because they are all warm and family like on the inside.

GALLIANI: ‘We postpone everything until tomorrow’
8/26/2010
MILAN – Milan CEO Adriano Galliani’s comments after the meeting held in Barcelona with blaugrana president Sandro Rosell: “We have been chatted and discussed the terms. We know Barcelona’s position and now we’ll consider it. We postpone things until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, after all the transfer window is open until Tuesday. I’ll stay here, I won’t go to Monte Carlo and I think I won’t come to the San Siro for the match on Sunday evening, either. Our position and that of Barcelona is very clear. We’ll go to the bitter ends for Ibrahimovic. I’d say now we have a 50% chance of getting him. In the meantime the eventual alternative would be Robinho I’d like to point out that Borriello will stay at Milan, while as for Huntelaar, we are in negotiations with another team. We’ll see. Now I’ll talk to Ibrahimovic, as I was authorised by president Rosell’.

I would not be too sure about that. We signed Boateng (his replacement?)... Prince, Ambrosini and Pirlo.. as our midfield? (Gattuso, Seedorf, Merkel, and Strasser as backups...) Huntelaar and Flamini out, Flamini got huge wages in a way, Zlatan in? It could be possible...

Getting Robinho to me is ridiculous, he plays on the left and basically cannot play anywhere else. Dinho takes up that position, and I'd rather have Dinho then Robinho doing a million step overs with no end result.

We already have 2 players who are great on the left, and have to sacrifice Pato for it. Robinho would be redundant imo.

This Ibra thing to me seems very fishy (no offense to the fish), I just think it's very far from a done deal, and we might even see it collapse last minute, simply because we cannot afford it. You have to consider the player's contract as well not just the transfer fee. 10m is a lot especially for us, the club who has been cutting out player who want more then 4m per season, and doesn't want to renew with Dinho for 6m

He's going to get 8 milion not 10. He earn's 12 Milion in Barca but with bonuses.

19:55 - Forty million, deferred in three years at Barcelona four years by about 8 million to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. These are the foundations on which is working to buy the striker Adriano Galliani Swedish. Still very expensive and complicated operation, because passing through the supply of Huntelaar (14 million to AC Milan, Schalke 04's) and perhaps to Flamini, who lead the company a strong gain.

To recap: AC Milan Barcelona's concert with three tranches of 15, 15 and 10 million, while Raiola and Ibrahimovic was reached agreement in principle to a salary lower than currently understood (8 million instead of 9: the famous "12" Barcelona can be reached only through-win prizes) and a contract, however, led until 2014. Exactly eight and a half million, euro more, not euros, as demonstrated by Milan for the hiring of Huntelaar (3 million) and Flamini (5.5), the two players that Milan would sacrifice on the altar of Ibra. For the Netherlands there are advanced talks with Schalke 04, who has offered 13 million (and Milan try to tick something more), the French is still to build, but in the Premier League was always a great market and should not be impossible undertaking, from here to Tuesday, at least place it at 8-9 million. Flamini is worth remembering, came two summers ago at no cost Arsenal. (Sportmediaset.it)

I'm with blue on this.

Ibra is coming , 100 %
Flamini will not go, Allegri will never let that happen.
We already sold one player (hunter) for Ibra and if we sell Flamini, Allegri will deff. ask for Van der Vart/Diarra so he can complete his midfield with 6 players.
That's why we bought Boateng, to complete our midfield not to be someone's backup.

Comon guys lets think seriously.

Ibra to milan? Thats legit. Its been talked about since Villa arrived at barca.

Hunt leaving milan? Thats legit. Its been our mgmt's plan from the start of the summer. Offload hunt, sign a striker.

Flamini leaving milan? Yeah right. Allegri said at the beginning of the pre-season aswell as several times during the season that he is an important part of milan and he'll play a big role this year.

Its august 26. That means we have 5 days to find a club that will be willing to pay for flamini who will at the very least cost 10m. Someone who's willing to pay his 5.5 m wage a year and then finally

last but not least, we have to convince flamini why he should leave milan and because we need to fund ibra transfer is not a good enough reason.

If I were flamini i would say go F*ck yourselves, i am 26 years old and selling me is stupid. Go sell washed up players gattuso etc to fund the transfer.

We'll sign Ibra with berlu and the sponsors help. Otherwise, its impossible no matter who we sell. We cannot afford his wage bill on top of ronaldinho let alone his transfer fee which will be over 20.

comon now. Ibra has always been our number 1 target from the start.

As soon as Wolfsburg pulled that BS price tag in early July for Dzeko, we dropped our interest. Even then guys like Moggi came out and said that were interested in Ibra.

I even remember around early/Mid July someone came out in the press and said we will sign Ibra around the time of the gamper trophy. That will be our summer signing. We all wanted Dzeko at that time but things have changed since then.

Flamini won't leave. It could have happened if there was say 2 weeks before the window closes, but 5 days before? No way.

The only thing I see happening is the release/sale of kaladze and Janku from the squad to fund this and the probability of that I would say is 10%

Huntelaar has been a total primadonna, at least through big parts of last year, or do you not recall the repeated interviews of him complaining about playing time?

World class means nothing if because of it you have a dressing room that's not on the same page. Those 11 guys need to play as a team out there for anything to be successful.

And gosh, Blue, why the big change on Dzeko? Weren't you absolutely certain in January (and in the August before that) that he was coming and would be wonderful for Milan?
