Ambrosini >>>>>>>>>>>> Flamini
Leo's mistake last season was playing the same line-up every single game. Then again, he didn't really have much to chose from, but he could have used Flamini a little more and give Ambro some breathing space. Also, it's true Ambro went downhill in the last couple of months, but so did the whole team.

Ambrosini is the starter for sure, but Flamini should be given more opportunity to prove himself. If not just to give Ambro more rest.

Imo Flamini needs to be a starter next season. And I'm not even saying he should replace Ambro, imo Pirlo should be moved further forward, he is being wasted in front of the defence. Ambro and Flamini in front of the defence would be ideal for this, they will free Pirlo to do what he does best, instead of having Pirlo in front of the defence doing all the defensive work while Ambro and another mid (under Carlo it was Ambro and Rino) playing as "Defensive Wingers"
I agree with X-Off, last season both Ambro and Flamini were mis-used. Flamini should have played more at the start of the season instead of burning Ambro at both ends for so long. At the end of the season Flamini started to prove what he could really do. I remember the games he played against Roma were he was immense. He pracically won the midfield single handedly, and the game he played against Fiornetina when Ambro got injured and Flamini replaced him, we were losing the midfield at that point and when Flamini came on we started to control the game. At this point Ambro was playing like cr@p. He just couldn't keep up anymore.
If Allegri doesn't play with both of them in the same line up then he needs to figure out a smart way to rotate them. Both have different qualities and we need to utilies them to the maximum. Allegri needs to identify which game suites which player etc. Flamini would be ideal against the smaller teams as he can push forward better then Ambro but is still solid when we need to defend.
Regarding the card debate, we've had it millions of times. All of our DMs are card magnets. Ambro was sent off more then Flamini last season, while Flamini got more yellows. What I don't lik about Ambro is that he mouths off when he already knows he's on a yellow, I've seen him get sent off this way at least 3 times. While Flamini makes the rash tackles when there is no need to

YES, we can trust Ambrosini. He was immense against top teams like Real Madrid. Man, he will step up a lot in those matches. And he won't screw up, good mentality and his tackling et cetera are good against those teams. While Flamini is not as reliable and might make a wrong tackle.
From our midfielders I trust Ambrosini by far the most, surely in the big games.
edit: Ambrosini can handle the pressure so well, while I'm not so sure about Flamini
I believe a lot of us here wants Dzeko more than Ibrahimovic (me included). While Ibra is the one who has proven himself more then Dzeko.
We need a player who is still very much motivated and always is running his longs out just to prove his expectations. I agree with you that Ambrosini didn't have had a bad season at all but we need refreshment. I also dont say that it HAS to be Flamini. Ramires would be fine as wel

This won't happen. Berlusconi will not let that happen (based on what he said when we transfered Mancini in winter).

Ambrosini is Milan's captain. He should be a starter. The team needs it captain - this is the logic I follow.
If he turns out bad (which I doubt) we can bench him. So a big IF.
Refreshments? Hell yeah - Oddo, Gattuso, Dinho - engouh positions to find a refreshment.

Albertazzi and Legati will be loaned -

Also, Milan again linked with Empoli's topscorer Eder -

I agree, better to put someone that can play 90 minutes and give his best.
Flamini works better then Amborsini.. I would defently bench Seedrof for Honda
cause he has skills that Seedrof has and he can replace the freekicks or corners

Kaladze refused every single offer that other clubs made for him. He doesn't mind if he doesn't play he just want's to earn 4 mil/ year until 2011. That's on his contract.
If we get Mancini we will pay only 30 % of his wage so maybe if he starts to work harder he will deserve our 1.4 mil.

If we don't get a new midfielder, then both Flamini and Ambrosini should play. But if we sign a box-to-box midfielder we all want so bad (like Ramires), then Ambrosini should be the DM next to the box-to-box.
