If we sign Ibra we would play Argentinas 4-3-3 with Pato behind Ibra and Borriello.
OR we could play 4-3-1-2 with Pirlo behind Pato and Ibrahimovic. This one would be awesome.

And then we'd have to sign at least 2 CMs since our midfield is crowded with DMs but no creative central mids aside from Seedorf and Pirlo who would move into the AM position
Ibra is a mistake all round. If Silvio and co really want him they should have signed him off Juve when it was still worth it.

There is a huge difference in being support striker with one other striker and playing behind TWO strikers. Pato will have to do things he can't do really. Out of position a lot.

According to Sky, Milan could make a swap between JK Huntelaar and Felipe Melo.
My god, why are we linked with such players? Do we have a humanitarian goal to rescue players who are in a crisis? I think Milan is maybe the only club who wants him right now - if the Sky report is true.

If we're going to swap with Juve then it should be Diego. He's clearly not the guy for Juve while he would thrive with us since Milan play a more attacking fluid system. Melo is great imo, he was an amazing player at Fiorentina, sure he's a pr!ck to say the least but again, it's another case of great player at the wrong team. Juve should stick to the French players, it's clear Brazilians don't fit there

Melo had a crap season at Fiorentina bar the last 3 months, which enticed Dunga to call him up for the Confederations Cup and fool Juve in signing him. He's not ever worth spending a nickel.

Anyway, if I were to sign someone in midfield, it'd be Ramires. Here's how I think we should operate:
OUT: Dida, Onyewu, Kaladze, Favalli, Oddo, Jankulovski, Beckham, Mancini, Ronaldinho.
IN: Amelia, Otamendi, Yepes, Ramires, Pastore.
And of course, if were to sell Huntelaar to Fenerbahce for 25m, we could add about 6-7m and sign Dzeko.

Otamendi and Pastore may be good but I'm sure they wouldn't be the solution to our problems. This is really highly unrealistic. You see, Milan would be left with Zambrotta and Antonini as the only two fullbacks. Oh and yes, Otamendi, who's rock-solid on the right, like we saw yesterday.

Plus when I've seen him he's never really impressed. Maybe I'm a Pastore jinx and he plays bad whenever I happen to watch

If we played a 4-2-3-1 system then yes that would be awsome. But with Pirlo a system with just 2 mids wouldn't really work as that would require 2 pure ball winners, thus leaving Pirlo out of the equation, which to me is unthinkable

Diego can only play as a support striker like Kakà did when we won the Champions League in 2007, or at maximum as a trequartista behind two strikers. Asking him to play as the third man in midfield would be like asking Favalli to play in attack. Besides, he failed miserably at Juventus this season, so I see no point in signing him. He was painfully overrated and proved such thing.

At Juve it wasn't him it was the entire team, the system they played, and the position he was played in. He started out having a great season, but then he faded along with the rest of the team. The Juve fans were constantly complaining about Diego not being played in his position bla bla.

No, that's not true. He would be out of position then. In a 4-3-3 with two sort of DM's, one AM, two wingers, and one striker, he is the AM. At Jube he was out of position. The coach failed, if anything.

That depends on who the wingers are. If they sacrifice themselves on account of the squad (Eto'o and Pandev) then yes, that would work. But if the wingers care only about attacking (Pato and Ronaldinho), then playing Diego (who has absolutely no defensive mentality) in line with them would lead to a very unbalanced line-up.
