Well I don't know if you remember but Pato was out injured for 3 months. Without Ronnie in those 3 months, we might have been in the Europa League again. Sorry, I just can't agree with you here. Ronaldinho was too vital a player for us this year. The only reason I can see him doing worse next year would be because Leo is gone. Stats don't lie and I'm sorry but he was our best player this year. He played in more games than everyone else, Tied second in scoring, led the team and Serie A in assists, and led the Serie A in possible assists. Assists are as good as goals b/c without them there is no goal, thats why its given its own stat. So to say we don't need his assists to win is like saying we don't need goals to win, which is just not true.
Now, all that being said, he accomplished all of this year because of Leo's ability to motivate him and his desire to be in the World Cup. So perhaps he won't be able to repeat a performance like that. In this case, I could understand selling him, but how are we to know his performance will drop?
Yeah I know that Pato didn't play for 3 months but you should watch those matches when Pato played on the left instead of Ronaldinho, he was perfect (the match Milan-Sampdoria especially).

Well, Mediaset seems to think Dzeko to City is a done deal. They're reporting that Wolfsburg is now going to buy Huntelaar for 15 million.
linkTuttomercatoweb quotes a Gazzetta article that says Fester will be talking with Madrid about Drenthe and Gago.

Ronaldinho should be sold for two reasons: he's inconsistent and the whole team depends on him. The guys has glimpses of genius every now and then, but for most of the time he's asleep on field. Such inconsistency damages the squad a lot. The same thing could be said when we had Kakà, but Kakà was a monster that made the whole team move around. He didn't just receive the ball with everyone hoping he'd deliver an assist or a through pass. Ronaldinho is that kind of player. He's lazy, demotivated, getting old, a younger version of Seedorf that is. Yes, he was one of our best players this season, but just looking at the numbers won't solve our problems.
Total and utter concurrence from me

So why them didn't accept our offer , Huntear + cash ? :confused:
IMO, We will sell Hunter to City and with that amount of money + cash we will buy Dzeko.

I'm sure Dzeko will be ours. He said that he will come to Milan or will go nowhere.
If he goes to City, there will be a secret contrat about City leaving him free whenever he wants or something like this. And if Berlusconi sell Hunelaar he better buys someone very good 'cos fans will be pissed off.

Well this blows, but it gives a much needed slap in the face to some who were already dreaming about a Dzeko-Krasic pairing while dismissing our best attacking performers from last season.
Fact is there is no blockbuster buy for us, not now, and not ever unless Silvio sells up. He is not going to spend money on transfers, from the jist of what he keeps saying, he's only putting in cash to keep us above the red every year nothing more nothing less.
So lets just be happy that we actually have some class players in the squad and pray that we don't lose them not want to throw them out like yesterday's left overs...
Pirlo, Pato, Dinho, Thiago, Bori, Nesta. They're all great players who at this moment in time I'm only worrying if they'll still be our players come next season, not how many big money moves we'll make

Ibrahimovic is king of Serie A. Everyone gets old, its a law of the nature. Ibrahimovic is 28 and he can play 4 more seasons without a problem. I don't really understand whats the problem of all of you but you must understand that he is one of the best strikers in the world nowdays. AND he didn't fail in Barcelona he just wasn't as good as that Ibrahimovic who played in Inter and Juve.

At this point, I think it'd be best if we set aside the idea of big spenditures for good and concentrate on aquring a few decent players in every position. Otamendi and Aogo in defense, Moussa Sissoko and/or Lazzari in midfield, and probably Nenê in attack.
Like mtl said, we don't have that horrible of a first line-up, it's the substitutes what we essentially lack. If we get rid of garbage like Oddo, Kaladze, Jankulovski etc. and sign the players I mentioned above, we should be good at least for another season (good meaning getting in the league top 3 and passing the CL group stage).

Realistic worth
Otamendi = 10-12M
Aogo = 8-10M
Moussa Sissoko = 15-25M (he has been a star for a whole year and a half but toulouse management has NO intention on letting him go cheap)
lazzari = 7- 12M
i expect lazzari and possibly aogo, that being said we will wait till end of mercato to announce allegri so that we don't have to sign anyone outside of Lazzari
