logically its a good deal because no one is willing to purchase him.
Oddo earns 4m a season until 2011.
All we have done is extend that deal by a year and reduced the wage to 1.5m a year.
So he stays on an extra year and we save 1 mil. Not a bad deal now only if galliani would still go ahead and replace him, we'd be in business.

I still regret why we didn't sign him 3-4 years ago from Juventus when we had chance. Zlatan is born for Serie A, he proved it with Juventus and Inter. If you think that signing of Ibra would effect on your "pride" let me say you're wrong. If transfering Mancini was ok , why not to sign Ibra ?!

He went to Inter coz he thought he'd have a better chance. Ain't life grand??! We won the CL in 2007. As there is no chance we'll be getting Ibra (costs too much, plus high wage demand on top of that).

They would sell him for 30m +incentives on the spot. He doesn't want to be there, and they are on the market looking for a striker. The way I understand it, no one has even offered a serious bid yet.
Wolfsburg has also been said to be interested in Gattuso.

I'm so over Wolfsburg's BS!! They can keep him for all I care. Edin shouldn't have signed that extension in the first place. Then he would have been on a free and they wouldn't hold any power over him, now they're going to make him see out his contract no matter what.
They don't need the money they made it clear. So it's pointless. If Dzeko really wants out he should either force it or see out the contract he signed himself up for.
Regardless Milan will never be in the running for him as long as he's under contract so we can forget about him

It’s reported that Sokratis Papastathopoulos’ transfer to Milan collapsed because Marek Jankulovski rejected Genoa.
According to Italia 7 Gold, negotiations were at an advanced stage and ready for completion.
Greek international defender Papastathopoulos was lining up his move away from Genoa towards San Siro.
However, the deal collapsed because Jankulovski turned down the switch to Genoa in exchange.
The 33-year-old Czech full-back had also rejected a move to Inter in January and is heading for his sixth consecutive campaign at Milan.

its a shame, but i can understand. They are both so old that they want to see out their contracts and either go to a small club in their country or just retire. If they move to another club in serie A then they have to produce a performance and they know they can't.
Its just such a shame that galliani goes and gives these washed up players extensions with high wages and never learns his lesson.
Like inzaghi this season....was it really necessary? I mean what would be the difference of promoting someone like zigoni for 4th striker to inzaghi? I'd say they are similar level and at least the zigoni route would give him some exp.

KLAAS-JAN HUNTELAAR has been offered to Aston Villa. The AC Milan striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League since he was at Ajax and has already been made available to Manchester City and Tottenham.
Huntelaar, 26, is just 12 months into a four-year contract at the San Siro after arriving from Real Madrid for £13million last summer.
He is prepared to accept a reduction in his £70,000-a-week wages to play first team football after playing just 41 times in two years in Italy and Spain.
Huntelaar, who will be named among Holland's substitutes in the World Cup final, scored the winner against Cameroon in the group stage when he replaced Robin van Persie.
He has been told he is not in the plans of new Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri, but Villa will take their time deciding on taking up the option on him.
Boss Martin O'Neill may need a replacement for John Carew if, as expected, the Norwegian decides to leave the Midlands side.
Villa, who operated with just three senior strikers
