bruno Montelongo.
6 feet tall
Positions:
RB

I'd say this was probably done for around 1-2 m. He's in no way a big name, I dont' know why we signed him. River plate in Uruguay was his previous club.
The only reason I can see being is that Abate is going to Fio most likely and this 22 year old will accept the bench role.

I doubt it, he's really not that good. If I were Genoa; I'd rather abate over this guy. But maybe..who knows.
He's just athletic and fast and has some good ball control. Nothing special.
He's Uruguayan but didn't make the national team. 22 years old.

Galliani scored the go ahead for Berlusconi has already solved the problem by convincing counterpart Borriello, reassured by the extension of the contract, to accept the loan to the boat. Tomorrow morning the CEO will leave AC Milan to Barcelona to continue the negotiations. The details are complex economic, emphasis is always on loan to defer payment of one year more conspicuous on the transfer. We do need young talent in my opinion, that's obvious. However, I think we could use some experience too, and guys like Michael Ballack, Sergio Ramos, and maybe even Tim Howard would be great additions to our side. Not that Everton would ever give up their best, most reliable player, but honestly, Howard is a good deal better than Dida. I like Dida, but he's a bit too inconsistent. Howard's a tank. We need a tank.

Carlo "skittles" Ancelotti responds
Carlo Ancelotti has said Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be ideal for Milan - an assessment that coincides with reports claiming the hitman will head back to San Siro.
Italian media have reported Ibrahimovic as having agreed terms with Milan, but the official line from the clubs and his agent Mino Raiola so far is that it is still too early to hypothesise.
'Ibra' has a four-year deal with Barcelona, but Adriano Galliani revealed he has a meeting with the Catalan giants planned for Wednesday as he gets down to business.
And Ancelotti has told the Italian to execute a deal, revealing he almost signed him during his days on the Rossoneri bench.
"Ibrahimovic to Milan? I don't know. I am not their CEO and so it's not for me to answer. But I think he would do well there," Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia.
"When I was there I wanted him, but then the deal collapsed. I don't know what happened. He could have done well for us.
"He is a good player and could fit in at Milan."
Chelsea were linked with Inter stopper and Roma target Nicolas Burdisso, but Ancelotti has pulled the shutters down on that window of opportunity.
"Burdisso to Chelsea? We have three top defenders in our team and we don't need more defenders like Burdisso," he concluded.

Then we might sign coates as well to be kaladze back up. If Abate leaves, we'll probably bring bochetti in.

Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, hinted at problems when he told El Mundo Deportivo: "He signed with FC Barcelona, not FC Guardiola. He signed him to play but then left him on the bench."
With the striker looking increasingly likely to be on the move, a number of clubs are on alert, but Raiola claims his client has a very select short-list of suitors.
"Nothing is settled yet. We will know the situation on September 1," Raiola told Swedish newspaper Expressen. "There are only three clubs that are capable of signing Ibra: AC Milan, Manchester City and Real Madrid. These clubs are the only ones who can afford to sign him, to pay him and attract him."
He added: "Zlatan will be the one who decides whether he leaves and where he will go."
Barca would be highly unlikely to sell to Real Madrid, and Jose Mourinho - who coached the player at Inter - has now said he believes the player would be better off at the San Siro.
"Zlatan is a great player, but he was happier in Italy than he is in Spain," he said. "If he joins Milan, he'll have a great season."
Manchester City are eager to sign up the striker, though, and El Mundo Deportivo reports that Ibrahimovic is still in contact with City boss Roberto Mancini, who also coached the striker at Inter.
Nonetheless, Milan appear to be favourites, and Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani has vowed to remain in Catalonia until he can agree a deal. "If it's necessary, I'll stay here even until August 31," he said.
Guardiola has denied any knowledge of the negotiations, but Barca president Sandro Rosell confirmed talks would take place with Milan over the transfer. "Ibrahimovic? We'll talk about him with Milan tomorrow," he said.
Milan would like to negotiate a long-term loan deal involving Marco Borriello in exchange, but reports in Spain suggest Rosell will only accept a sale worth €40 million and Raiola added: "There'll be no loan, unless it's for four years."
Dracoris
Aug 25 2010, 06:04 PM
A four year loan might actually work in a way. No transfer fee....and we just take his salary, it would be cheaper than a fee plus a salary. Haha...I wonder if Barca would really do that....

So the loan talk was all BS! Which makes sense, since from a financial stand point Barca would have been stupid to agree to that kind of deal.
Still think we should include Hunter in the deal if it came down to that, We alread have Pippo who he's very similar to, Bori imo would give us more options

What puzzles me though, is the fact that if we definitely sign him, we'll have to pay his whole wage, and 12m is way too much for our standards. Raiola maide it clear they have no intention of accepting a lower wage.

An interesting idea would be to offer him a lower base wage, say 8-10m. Then give him incentives that could see him earn more than 12m (12-14m) in order to entice him to take the cut. That way, if he's meeting his incentive requirements, we're still making a butt load of money and can pay the wage.
This transfer would be a kick to Inter's balls.
