Well Hernanes is a box to box mid and VdV is an AM, and imo we need a box to box guy more then an AM

Fossatti I would rank top 5 youth CM in europe right now. He is the next Pirlo. Inter were very stupid to sell him to us, but I guess they couldn't help it since the player wanted to return. We'd paid a hefty fine for him too, 7m

But what led you to your judgement. I've seen a million people being called our 'Pirlo' replacement- Moutinho, Veloso, Hernanes, Xabi Alonso etc.

For me, Xavi's the only person who can compete with Pirlo at his best.

a couple of reasons.


1) FIfa named him as one of the top 10 players to watch for in the future after the u-17 World Cup
2) He is rated quite highly in the world and for the longest time had man city, man united following him.
3) He plays exactly like Pirlo. He has the best passing ability in italy imo in primavera.

Sportmediaset tells that Andrea Poli is Allegri's main objective for the midfield, but whether Samp will sell him or not depends on the outcome of their Champions League qualifying campaign. Poli is young and very good midfielder. I'd sign him before Lazzari,Blasi,Donadel and Diarra.

I thought he is a CB who can play as DM. I would not call him a midfielder.

He is a CB. Hopefully we don't look his way but the free tag imprinted on his forehead will no doubt attract Galliani like a moth to a flame

Yes like han said ,he is a CB but he can also play as DMidfielder. His performances with Mexico were quite good and knowing that he is free I wouldn't be surprised if we sign him.

Yes he is. During the u17 WCP he was brilliant. You might see him in a freindly this season and then you can judge.


His contract expires next year and he didn't want to resign under the terms they were offering him. He doesn't want to go out on loan/co-own for a bunch of years, which is what Inter wanted him for him. So he chose us because Galliani offered better.

The reason we even snapped him up this summer was because a lot of teams had become interested in him after his performance at the u17 wcp. He is also a milanfan.



The other two are garbage from what i've seen. Daminuta is adriano v2. Party problems and all other things. He was out on loan and refused to return to inter. Filkor is 22 and is talented but is nowhere near milan quality. I can see them both being loaned out. Inter included them in the deal because there was no way that a primavera player is worth 7m. Basically to make G feel better about splashing the cash.

Today I read Fossati was free, and the other two did cost together the 7 mio. I don't know really, and I don't understand why we signed those two, at all.

Antonini could very well play on the right. And besides, it wouldn't hurt to have some variety.

Is Aogo better than Antonini or Zambrotta ? I don't thnik so. I'd like to see more Zambro/Papa on the right. Antonini is just great in the left and I wouldn't remove him from there for Aogo.

I'm torn on Big Papa. He did really well today in spurts, and poor in others. That being said I'm excited to see what else he can bring to the RB role. If we're buying a defender it needs to be a RB. Antonini could technically play on the right, and he is in fact right footed so....we'll see what happens.
