QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 26 2010, 01:32 PM) Sportmediaset posts all the details of deal: 40m to Barcelona to be paid in 3 years; 8m to Zlatan in a 4-year contract. It's important though, to monetize from the sales of Huntelaar and, apparently, Flamini. I swear, if we sell Flamini, I'll be mad again. We finally have a decent midfield, selling the Frenchman would put us back to square one. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) If we're spending 40MM on the swede but wouldn't spend a penny on Dzeko, then someone needs to sort out their priorities.

With all the desire to see I bara here, 40 million and Flamini leaving is way too much.

He's been in allegri's plans from day 1. Its just rumours made up by the media. Hunt sale+berlu= ibra This is berlu's transfer, we'll help out but he'll pay the majority of it. QUOTE (Tennie @ Aug 26 2010, 12:07 PM) If we're spending 40MM on the swede but wouldn't spend a penny on Dzeko, then someone needs to sort out their priorities. Berlu doesn't want Dzeko. He wants Ibra. Its as simple as that. W/O Berlu we can't afford to buy either or pay either. -- I personally don't think we've paid 40m. I think its somewhere around 25m. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. IBRA IBRA IBRA IBRA IBRA IBRA(IMG: http://cdn.serieatalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/ibra.jpg)

It was mentioned as a possibility a few days ago, Blue. It wasn't official a few days ago.
EDIT: Nicely done, Blue, completely removing your comment about the transfer being old news from the above post.

QUOTE GALLIANI: ‘We postpone everything until tomorrow’ 8/26/2010 MILAN – Milan CEO Adriano Galliani’s comments after the meeting held in Barcelona with blaugrana president Sandro Rosell: “We have been chatted and discussed the terms. We know Barcelona’s position and now we’ll consider it. We postpone things until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, after all the transfer window is open until Tuesday. I’ll stay here, I won’t go to Monte Carlo and I think I won’t come to the San Siro for the match on Sunday evening, either. Our position and that of Barcelona is very clear. We’ll go to the bitter ends for Ibrahimovic. I’d say now we have a 50% chance of getting him. In the meantime the eventual alternative would be Robinho I’d like to point out that Borriello will stay at Milan, while as for Huntelaar, we are in negotiations with another team. We’ll see. Now I’ll talk to Ibrahimovic, as I was authorised by president Rosell’. http://www.acmilan.com/index.aspx - in the breaking news section.

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Aug 26 2010, 08:03 PM) 11/8 def. Gattuso is 8... so... 11... if Huntelaar leaves, then I would say 11 too... else.. dunno really QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Aug 26 2010, 07:32 PM) I highly doubt we'll sell flamini to pay for his sale. He's been in allegri's plans from day 1. Its just rumours made up by the media. I would not be too sure about that. We signed Boateng (his replacement?)... Prince, Ambrosini and Pirlo.. as our midfield? (Gattuso, Seedorf, Merkel, and Strasser as backups...) Huntelaar and Flamini out, Flamini got huge wages in a way, Zlatan in? It could be possible...

Getting Robinho to me is ridiculous, he plays on the left and basically cannot play anywhere else. Dinho takes up that position, and I'd rather have Dinho then Robinho doing a million step overs with no end result.
We already have 2 players who are great on the left, and have to sacrifice Pato for it. Robinho would be redundant imo.
This Ibra thing to me seems very fishy (no offense to the fish), I just think it's very far from a done deal, and we might even see it collapse last minute, simply because we cannot afford it. You have to consider the player's contract as well not just the transfer fee. 10m is a lot especially for us, the club who has been cutting out player who want more then 4m per season, and doesn't want to renew with Dinho for 6m
