Some Italian newspaper I can't remember the name mentioned today that we might swap with Genoa Mesbah and El Shaarawy for Kucka and Tozser.

would them all be loans or what?

I think so. Anyway, Perziosi just told SkySport that there are no ongoing nor scheduled negotiations with Milan, so it probably was media invention.

Also, I read somewhere that we're interested in Nice's leftback Luciano Monzon. He's 25, Argentinian, and in his first season with Nice scored 10 goals in 39 appearances.

BBC Sport: Arsenal close to signing Real Madrid's Nuri Sahin on loan, with a view to a permanent move.
Preziosi: "Pazzini is very close to Naploi, it's the team closest to him, also ,De Laurentiis & Moratti have an excellent relationship."
Preziosi: "With Milan we only had deals for Acerbi & Constant, we have no other negotiations going on."
Milan's primary target for being the new striker is Marco Borriello, according to TuttoSport.
Gazetta reports that Galliani officially asked Inter for Pazzini on loan but they rejected this offer
Both Palermo and Fiorentina want to sign Milan's Djamel Mesbah on a 1-year loan deal. [GdS]
Galliani will be asking Berlusconi to increase the budget today at Arcore where they will meet with Allegri after the game.

If I was Galliani, I'd ask Berlusconi for a budget of €25 million, which is more than respectable, and sign Strootman for €10 million, Armero for €10 million and Kaká for €15 million to be payed in three installments.
Abbiati
Abate - Mexes - Zapata - Armero
Montolivo - Strootman - Nocerino
Boateng
Kaká - Pato
If the Kaká deal doesn't go through, then just scrap him and play Robinho or Cassano instead.

That would imply that Galliani would make smart moves, which we all know has become something totally beyond his capabilities in his old age

Had he had any common sense he would have swooped in for Sahin when he had the chance, instead of Kaka

Well, realistically speaking, I doubt we can cash in on Cassano? He's had his curious medical condition which surely makes him a risky transfer and he publicly said he wants to leave Milan. So...
As for the suggested transfers, I'm pretty sure Udine wouldn't let Armero go, especially not for 10 million. They've lost already most of their best players,...so why selling Armero? At least until they get kicked out of the CL qualifications.

Well it looks like Real Madrid offered Kaka to ManUTD (loan with wages 100% paid) since Milan wanted a free loan with only 50-75% of wages to be paid by Milan. (DailyMail) Meanwhile SKY reports that Niang can sign today for Milan as his agent is in Via Turatti negotiating with Galliani. While La Repubblica reports that Zeman offered Bojan Krkic for Mexes to Milan Mauro Suma the director of MilanChannel suggests that Mexes will stay at Milan and Pazzini will be bought.
