I'm almost certain that we'll make a signing tomorrow...probably a LB and if one of our other targets all the sudden becomes available for less (Diarra, Yanga etc) we'll probably snatch them up on the cheap.

Hopefully we'll also unload some excess tomorrow too (Mesbah)

I like this positive attitude, but those are quite a few last day deals.... I think that with the crop we have, maybe with a playmaker (Kaka') we can be competitive in both competitions. Even if Kaka' doesn't bring the game that he left with, I think his name inspires fear. devil.gif

As far as the LB position goes, I'm pretty content to have De Sciglio get time in that position. I think that other holes in the team need to be covered by youth. If we don't give them their shot now, they will never get it here.

I still don't see it happening. If we were going to make a last minute offer to Madrid for Kaká, then we would have waited just one more day before giving shirt #22 to Bojan. IMO this little, "irrelevant" fact seals it.

It's ok not to trust it, each of us have their opinion and their "scale" at which we believe things. As the guy told us and we wrote in that news he heard the option being talked in Milanello but he told us not to get much exited and to wait and see what happens, so soon we will see what happens.

As for the number, as everyone here said, that's not a big deal, not anymore. Except for the 3rd and 6th all other numbers are open to anyplayer and the coach/club can assign it to whoever it wants. I didn't see the need why Pato would have to get his number changed from 7 to 9 which he inhereted from Sheva and somehow created a connection with it but he got the change together with Boateng, Robinho and others, starting to get straight numbers from the first.

That means that, if Bojan didn't get the 22, we'd still leaving and wanting desperatly Kaka back, which would be a bargin for Galliani when they'd be discussing for Kaka. I'm not sure what are his strategies to sign players but I'm sure he uses details like this one too.

Nevertheless, Galliani and God know best on this matter.

EDIT:

Our designer already prepared a cover for our page in case of Kaka's transfer. We usually prepare one days before a transfer it's complated, we never missed once, it's a fact X-Off tongue.gif

Why don't we just swap Mesbah for Ziegler. I think everyone would be happy.

that would such a good dea for us....

Galliani: "We're very happy about De Jong. He's a playmaker in front of the defense, one of the best in Europe, that's why we decided to sign him. He's the most important player to have arrived in Italy this summer. Now Montolivo can play as RCM. With these signings, I don't want any third place talk anymore. We've filled the gap from all the departures this summer. Once again, we should thank president Berlusconi. Without him, Niang, Bojan and De Jong would not have arrived".

LOL, how can that possibly be a ploy? We're making a final offer tomorrow to Madrid (according to the source d'Arc posted). They accept or they don't accept. Bojan choosing #22 has got nothing to do with it. As a matter of fact, it's just proof that we've completely forgotten about Kaká.

I don't think he'll come either, but not because we gave his number to Bojan. he can pick another number, no big deal. no one could imagine Sheva picking a number other than his legendary 7 either, but he did.

Besides, Bojan can give up his number if Kaka arrives. the kid's probably gonna be here for one season only. give him a random number.
d'Arc.LP
Kaka's father is in Italy right now.

EDIT:
source https://twitter.com/Milangirls/status/241465340989689856

But appearently they didn't translate it well. He is actually NOT in Italy according to Di Marzio.

i just found de jong's wife...

Jack Sparrow
Nah. C'mon.

Wiki says he has never received a red card in recent times. Apparently he also has the best pass completion rate. He started off playing as an offensive mid apparently.

I'm actually starting to think there might be more to this transfer than I first thought.
arivanjj
yehh only mucking around. i think he will do good here. best transfer this window without a doubt.
Danny
I've stated so many times that Kaka is not coming. I hope I have jinxed that.
Fillipo Simone
I'm just sad we didn't get Rossi. I'd trade him for Krkić any day.

I agree with this. Rossi would have made so much more sense. But this was never going to be an ideal transfer window anyways.
Jack Sparrow
Don't forget Bojan is a loan and can play for us immediately. Not so much with Rossi.
d'Arc.LP
Rossi is injured till January, and had lots of problems with injuries lately. Not what we need. But yeah, he's good.

Only four hours until the window closes, and still no sign of Kaká. I just hope we sign a decent leftback. Between Peluso and Antonelli, I'd go for the former, but it looks like Galliani will give another blow job to Preziosi and snatch Antonelli instead.

I haven't really noticed Antonelli play, do u know if he would be a good signing?

Can't say, I haven't seen much of him either. I think Peluso is the better player, but Atalanta's president doesn't accept blow jobs from Galliani.

Galliani offered a swap with Mesbah for Antonelli according to the latest reports.

There are conflicting reports about Kaka

Di Marzio does not outright deny it from what I could understand, he just thinks it's too big an operation to be completed in such a short amount of time
Fillipo Simone
Come one, let's keep it civilized.

Both could be at least better then Mesbah.
d'Arc.LP
Preziosi has rejected the Mesbah-Antonelli exchange that Galliani proposed him [GdS]

Sky Sports say that Milan never offered an exchange for with Mesbah for Antonelli, and that he has not really been on Milan's radar.

The only option at the moment for Milan's LB position is Atalanta's Federico Peluso [Sky]

Juventus has reportedly found an agreement with Atalanta over Federico Peluso. He has been linked with Milan in the past days [Mediaset]

OFFICIAL: Milan has signed the 17-year-old defender Matteo Caracciolo on a 1-year loan deal from Sampdoria.
X-Offender
So, if we're not interested in Antonelli and Juve have reached an agreement for Peluso, who are we getting? unsure.gif

Apparently, he isn't Milan quality. sleep.gif Never was a few years back, never is still. Weird, huh?!

ok off to bed. i better wake up to news of another signing. it would be awful if we dont at least get a defender.

Sky Sports reports that Milan would have only bought a new LB if Mesbah was sold. Genoa rejected an exchange for Antonelli.

Seems like no one else will come.

He's only 17 y.o. and Italian. Primavera signing in hope he turns out good in the future.

Milan's market would be virtually closed, as there are no options for the LB position. [GdS]
Danny
For a good 5 minutes there I almost let myself believe Kaka was coming back.
Jack Bauer
Di Marzio says another left is unlikely to arrive to Milan today as Djamel Mesbah doesn't want to leave and will reject every offer. mad.gif
X-Offender
I hope Mesbah is ready to warm the stands until the rest of the season. F@cking cancer! mad.gif
William405
Wow..just wow.
Jack Sparrow
I hope Allegri rides him in training. My attitude at work, when someone who is not that great in my team throws an attitude is to ride them hard. The toughest assignments, the toughest jobs, minimal support, no excuses to be accepted.

Sometimes, they wisen up and leave on their own accord, sometimes and this is very rare, that chip on their shoulder actually pulls them through and makes them really worth it.
William405
are we being linked with anyone?!
Jack Bauer
Nope. One hour left.
