Imo bojan will be quite a huge flop at milan...

He would be a huge hit-or-miss kind of player IMO. that's why I would take him temporarily, until we can afford appropriate players.
KillerMax
He's been a flop for Roma already, how can he all of a sudden be a hit for us? It doesn't look like his youth training and football philosophy is serving him well in Serie A.
dst
I don't understand, Bojan looked so promising a couple of years ago and not just for one game, he had a good run, what happened? huh.gif
Zed.D
He's always been in the wrong places IMO. yes he grew up at Barca and that made him a good player in the first place but there was no room for him despite his talent. then Roma... never expected him to do as well in Italy. though I've seen a few games from his with Roma and didn't look like a "flop" at all. especially against us. I think he will explode if he goes back to Spain and plays for Valnecia or something.
KillerMax
I also think he used to be one of the most promising players there was at some point. He hasn't been a flop at Roma as much as Oliveira wasn't a flop at Milan. La Liga might revive him though.

Yep, hit-or-miss kind of player is a great description.

He has talent, but he's a bit lazy. Also, Barcelona made him look good. All in all, I'm not sure about the player.

Seems like the Niang deal won't happen (MN).

Galliani thinks he is wise, to be honest only a fool do/think the way he do.. He is afraid of investing in failure with the little money we have. If you don't take risk, then you play it safe but when you do that nothing big or extraordinary will happen to you. it is so absurd asking to loan just €3M rated 17 year-old prospect from poor Lique 2 club. For heaven sake, Galliani just paid €7.5M plus Cassano for Pazzini.. Can't afford to raise €6M offer for Lique 1 Champions (Montpelier) 23 years-old captain, Mbiwa. Though I understand him a bit on Mbiwa, its likely he join us for free next term and I want Niccolin to be taught some real lesson .. I think Galliani has really lost it that is if he even got it before. In a nutshell, should Galliani and co continue like this Milan will sink further in future!

NEWS:

-Kaka negotations are getting down to the wire. Madrid are slowly giving in. Request was originally 20, then 15, then 10, now its even around the 5m mark but galliani only wants a free loan. Madrid are trying to squeeze anything they can out of him but Kaka refuses to leave madrid for anywhere but milan.

-We have increased our offer for Niang to 4.7m. 2m now and 2.7 next year. Everton and us are still in the race for him.

If we get Kaka it will have to hurt madrid a lot. Logically If i were them I wouldn't do it. Its just not worth it.

Free loan to milan in which they still have to pay half his wage. I would just keep him if I were perez.

Agreed.

But it's all good, we've advantaged ourselves enough throughout the transfer window thus far. We deserve to get something out of it before the 31st Aug.

Galliani on Cassano and Kaka

Adriano Galliani replied to Antonio Cassano’s personal attacks and confirmed Kaka will only arrive “if Real Madrid change their minds” on a loan switch.

The Milan Vice-President was bitterly criticised in new Inter buy Cassano’s Press conference yesterday, suggesting he was “all mouth and no trousers” by failing to maintain promises.

“It is the first, and I hope also the last, time that a player has said these things about me,” replied Galliani ahead of today’s Serie A match with Sampdoria.

“I will only say that if I ever made a promise, then I have kept it. I never promised to extend contracts. Why would we renew a deal in 2011 that wasn’t set to expire until 2014?”

Galliani was also asked about the Kaka saga, as the 30-year-old Brazilian was again dropped from Real Madrid’s squad amid reports of a row with Jose Mourinho.

“The situation with regards to Kaka is clear. Real Madrid want to sell him on a permanent basis, we want to take him on loan. If Real Madrid change their minds then I’ll fly straight to Spain, otherwise we can’t do anything about it.

“As for the defence, we have five centre-backs and four full-backs, so we are covered.”

- Kaka to Milan Channel: ”I want to leave Real Madrid. Whether it is Milan or Poggibionsi: I want to leave. ” Milan’s official channel also report that CEO will succeed in convincing Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez to let Kaka join Milan on loan.

- Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani to Sky Sport: “The deal depends on Real Madrid. They only want to sell Kaka permanently whereas we want him on loan. I will meet Real Madrid officials after the Spanish SuperCup.”

- Milan officials will again hold a meeting on Tuesday. The main topic will be the extra budget for Kaka’s return. [Gazzetta dello Sport]

- Carlo Pellegatti to Premium Calcio: “The cleaning lady is preparing Kaka’s apartment at Milan.”

- Peppe Di Stefano to Sky Sport: “Galliani will travel to Madrid either on Monday either on Tuesday. Milan have made the proposal and Perez may agree to let Kaka go on loan. An agreement may be easily reached, as the player has already said that his oly will to is return to Milan.”

- El Pais have revealed some awkward details on Kaka and Mourinho. According to them, Mourinho has forced Kaka to leave Real Madrid ever since January. “He isn’t a good person. I’m always a second choice player in his opinion.”, Kaka has confided to some of his teammates. Mourinho has constantly been asking Kaka about his future plans, the Spanish newspaper reveal.

Another thing is Kaka’s board meeting, where he was told that he should leave the Madrid giant. “Don’t you realize that I don’t rely on you?”, is what Mourinho asked. However, the Brazilian midfielder has responded with a resounding “No” and a surprised look on his face. That is the reason the 30-year-old star and his father left the Bernabeu tight-lipped.

Yet another raveled confrontation has something to do with Kaka’s proposed Milan move. The Brazilian has asked Mourinho to let him join Milan, however the answer he received wasn’t a positive one. “He wants me to play for a third league Eurpean club, not for a famous one.” Moreover, this attitude of Mourinho is something that Madrid president Perez didn’t like at all. The newspapers hints that a meeting between them two has been hold and Florentino has later described that as a “humiliating behavior”.

I'm sorry but is Kaka' deluded? He's always injured and not in the same league as Madrid's front 4, of course he's 2nd choice.

What extra budget??? Let me see, we've spent €500k on Gabriel, €4 million on Acerbi and €7.5 million on Pazzini, whilst receiving €65 million from Ibra and Thiago, not to mention all the savings on the various huge wages. Is €12 million all we can do? Inter spent that money alone just to purchase Alvaro Pereira. FFS, I'm tired of this mediocrity!!!

Isn't that 7.5 million spread out over 3 years?? In that case its not even 12 million this year.

Just for fun I'm going to make some predictions for the week:

Kaka 90%
Yanga Mbiwa 60%
Diarra 25%
Unknown Big Name 70% (Hamsik?)

We'll probably sell Mesbah and I'd say 25% chance of selling Mexes, despite his statements earlier today.

No transfer is 100% money up front. But if the transfer figure is 7.5m, then you take 7.5m as the number otherwise it gets confusing.

I think Montpeiller will get desperate and especially if we let Mexes go then we'll fish out the extra money.

Kaka I think will be a loan deal sometime around Wednesday.

Diarra is a dream, definitely.

I don't think Hamsik is too far out of the picture, his official Twitter did say "AC Milan..." a month or so ago. I do think whether its him or not we'll see an unknown name this week.

I think Hamsik signed until 2015 or 2016 at the end of last season. Only City/Chelsea/PSG/Madrid/Barca can afford him.

The Yanga-Mbwia ship has already sank, and Mexes is not leaving. As for Hamsik, I don't know where you're getting your ideas from but he's never even been a target this summer, not to mention he'd cost a shitload of money. Plus De Laurentis would never sell both Lavezzi and Hamsik at the same time. Heck, Hamsik's never been for sale in the first place. And I have no clue about that Twitter message you're talking about.

Seriously man, don't you realize we're broke? There's no money, nada. We'd be lucky to get Kaká and some average DM like Tymoschuk.

I think I forgot to post this quote from yesterday.

Yanga-Mbiwa: "If I don't manage to join Milan this year, then I will join them next year."

In my opinion, we're defenitely taking Kaka, while a DM it's a must but I'm not sure if we're after anyone in that possition except for Lass and it's quite impossible to get both of them from Real.
If Mexes leaves (i hope not) then I see Mbiwa as a decent replacement or maybe someone average from Italy. We can also get that youngster Niang but it's not that he can make a change, he's only 17 and not better than El Shaarawy as some claimed here.
BVR
Madrid have sealed Modric deal which according to english media was dependent on departure of Kaka.
X-Offender
SkySport: "Milan will purchase Niang for €3 million. Kaká's arrival is practically impossible. The loan isn't practicable due to some taxation issue, whilst Milan cannot purchase the player due to lack of funds. If Kaká isn't coming, then Diarra isn't coming either, as both negotiations are related".

If we won't get Kaká, then words won't be able to describe my disappointment. sad.gif

From what I've read everywhere else we've cooled interest on the deal over the last few days, I was just hoping you guys had inside sources! Whilst I don't think getting Kaka back is the right move it's pretty much all we have left to play with at the moment.

I still don't understand why we didn't get Sahin on loan. He would have been a perfect solution for us, albeit short term, as Madrid would probably want him back next season. It's like our management want to be idiots on purpose.

Becouse we'd have to pay 5 million to Real Madrid to loan Sahin for only one season. That's almost insane in Galliani's logic, in mine too, knowing we wouldn't have the right to buy him in the end of the season. (that's the deal he went to Liverpool for)

It looks like the Kaká deal is practically abolished. Madrid don't want to give him on loan, so we ordered Bronzetti not to travel to Madrid to negotiate with Perez, and Galliani went to France this morning in order to sign Niang as the alternative.

I swear, we have become cheaper than Genoa, Fiorentina and Palermo. Madrid are willing to give us Kaká on a golden plate, yet we only want him for free. We play cat and mouse with every club for mediocre amounts. I just refuse to accept that we are so broke. How come Inter can spend €11-12 million for the likes of Pereira, Guarin and Palacio, whilst we can't afford to bring one decent replacement for all the champions that left this summer? This is beyond ridiculous. mad.gif sad.gif
