I'm so glad you went through, to the point where I celebrated your equaliser..

Hopefully you'll have a few slips ups in the league due to the FA Cup/European Cup. I still think you'll finish 4th though, breaking into the top 4 of England is basically breaking into the top 7-10 in the World!

They won't win the title with Rafa, he's too negative in the way he plays. Teams like West Ham, Fulham and Stoke all went to Anfield, just defended, and got a point quite comfortably.

I was just reading the Memorable Match page ahead of our game at Anfield, and the game selected is the last time we won their (01/02) and they had some pictures.. Very good game of football up at the fake St. James' Park. Almunia gave away a ridiculous penalty, only to redeem himself when he saved a Martins penalty.
United losing is bad news for us. Liverpool will now believe they can win the title and batter us, while United will be very up for the game against us after the international break - Though Vidic, Scholes and Rooney will all be suspended. Scholes is irrelevant, he never plays EPL games before CL games anyway, but Vidic and Rooney will be a miss, hopefully.

Damn you Halsey, at least he won't be reffing the Villa game for a change! Was happy at 0-0, then Halsey gives a naff decision for a free-kick to Arsenal, then it open up the game and Arsenal lead 3-1. Although, Taylor and Harper for Newcastle have kept the score at single figures really, they've been magnificent at the back. I feel sick talking like this about Newcastle players.. Deserved win for Arsenal, could have been more. I suppose the consilation for them winning is that Newcastle remain in the bottom 3 and have Chelsea next week. I do hope they get relegated, even if it mean W*st brom staying up.

Reina long ball. Riera dive. Free-kick. Kuyt 1-0.
Reina long ball. Reira volley. 2-0.
Reina long ball. Riera dive. Gerrard penalty. 3-0.
Bolton became succesful with long ball football and it seems Liverpools lack of talent on the field is working for them, they're just playing long ball and being successful from it, same happened against United.

FT 5-0. Gerrard free kick and then Gerrard with another penalty after Torres ran into Friedel (replay clearly shows Friedel moved out of the way!) so they converted the penalty AND Friedel was sent off which was ridiculous.
They deserved the win, no question, but the diving from Torres and Riera is disgraceful 3 of their goals were from poor refereeing decisions - all with Riera as well I believe, they must be lovers.

Oh well, onto Old Trafford we go..

We should have just let Torres have the ball, he's played Villa 4 times and been awful in all 4.
I feel sorry for Friedel, he currently has the record EPL streak of games and it's still going, then a ridiculous sending off is going to end it.

Brad Jnr. in goal at Old Trafford then, what a way to make your league debut.

Pele Claims Ronaldo And Robinho Took Drugs
In statements that will surely rock Brazilian football, the country's greatest ever player has accused two modern-day samba stars of substance abuse...
22 Mar 2009 00:50:01
Brazilian legend Pele has made comments that are sure to generate massive controversy in the footballing world, after he indicated that Ronaldo and Robinho took drugs at a private event in Sao Paulo with businessmen in the tourist sector.
Pele is currently appearing in court in relation to a case involving his son Edinho, who has confessed to being addicted to cocaine. According to the radio station Jovem Pan, Pele told the court, "It is unfair to talk about drugs in football because of just one or two cases, like Ronaldo and Robinho, who have that problem."
Pele also criticised his old foe Diego Maradona, presently the coach of Argentina, for being a "negative example".
"He was an excellent player but unfortunately everyone can see what he has done with his life," the Santos icon said.
He then cited Kaka, Michel Platini and Franz Beckenbauer as ideal role models to follow, stressing that these types of figures in world football more than make up for the less savoury side of the sport.
"Kaka is an example of a great role model, and beside him there are others like Platini, Beckenbauer and many others," Pele said. "There are a lot of good people and it is unfair to focus on an isolated case."

*When the 3 minutes added time was announced, the fans started to chant "We're gonna win 6-5!"
*Chants of "We're gonna win the league!" were sung.. by Villa fans.
*Chants of "Bring on United!"
*Also singing "Where's your famous atmosphere!?" and "Shall we sing a song for you?"

Pele is a prick. I have never rated him as a footballer or a person. He has no idea what's going on in the World of football anymore, probably because his head is so far up his ***.
