Yeah, I think the EPL title is out of reach now. Just curious as to what you think, and I'm not saying this because I dislike Wenger: Do you think it's time he left? It's been 3 or 4 seasons now without a trophy and your squad doesn't seem as strong as the other teams in the big 4, Wenger does have a habit of letting your best players go, I'm amazed personally that the Arsenal fans get so behind him.
Lets put it this way; he'll have to pull of something pretty damn impressive before June in order to make peace with the fans.
He's a shadow of his former self and he keeps spoon-feeding us that tedious talk of how consistently finishing in the top 4 is more important than winning the odd trophy and how good our youngsters are and all that.
Our main problems at the moment are:
1. Playing Fabregas when it would have been more effective to wheel out whatever's left of Alan Ball and dumping it in the middle of the pitch.
2. Using Bendtner as a lone striker. The guy isn't as hopeless as some people think, but he never works as a lone striker.
NEVER.3. Confining the obvious talent of Carlos Vela to the Carling Cup and 20-minute league appearances.
4. The lack of a midfield other than Nasri.
5. A lack of players who can score from 1-on-1s.
6. A lack of a real star player. Adebayor has returned to being medicore, Fabregas has started to decline at the age of 20 and even if Walcott will be England's best player in a 4-5 years time that doesn't mean sh*t at the moment.
7. When the team are playing great, Almunia is sure to concede 4 goals (Tottnham, Liverpool last year), and when Almunia has a great day the defence is sure to provide as much defensive protection and mobility as a badger that has just been run through a combine harvester (Gallas trying to catch up with Agbonlahor for the second goal).
