Clichy got headbuttet (accidentaly) by Bent, it was pouring blood from the wound, he had to be helped off the pitch by two staff members and looked liked he was going to go down any minute.
And of course, the classy Spurs fans jeer at him and hurl insults all the way to whatever locker room, hospital, cementry he's going to. Jeez I hate these guys.
Oh and does anyone knows a good hitman? There's a certain chap from the Ivory Coast who needs to get clipped.

I just find a good site with all transfers, market values on players, etc. the Spurs transfer page is crazy, whoever does their transfers is an idiot.
Gomes - £8.6m
Chimbonda - £3m
Corluka - £13.2m
Bentley - £21m
Modric - £20m
Palacios - £14m
Giovani - £6m
Defoe - £15.7m
Keane - £16m
Pavlyuchenko - £16.7m
That's over £130m on players and to be honest, they've either recently joined (or re-joined) the club so haven't had time to impress (Defoe, Keane, Palacios, Chimbonda) or flopped (Gomes, Corluka, Bentley, Modric, Gio, Pavlyuchenko), they're literally throwing money away.

Wenger moaning as usual today, this week about how Eboue's goal should have stood and that referees are always against Arsenal. Quite funny that, considering all that stupid decisions they get their way.
In other somewhat Arsenal related news, Tony Adams has been sacked as manager of Portsmouth. He's not a good manager but I feel sorry or him, he was left to clear up the mess that Harry Redknapp made. Redknapp is a manager who only is interested if he has money to spend (West Ham, Southampton, Portsmouth) and then leaves them when they're struggling for money and not doing well in the league.. what a guy.

Manager Scolari sacked by Chelsea
Luiz Felipe Scolari has been sacked as manager of Chelsea.
A statement on the club's website revealed the move had been made "to maintain a challenge for the trophies we are still competing for".
Scolari, who led Brazil to the 2002 World Cup, was appointed in June 2008 as the replacement for Avram Grant.
Chelsea, fourth in the Premier League and seven points behind Manchester United, will be led by assistant Ray Wilkins on an interim basis.

We seem to be the favourite with all the neutrals at the moment.

I'm not sure we'll do it though. In fact, I'm not even certain we'll finish in the top, we have too many tough games coming up. Next 10 games:
A Everton (FA Cup)
H CSKA Moscow (UEFA Cup)
H Chelsea
A CSKA Moscow (UEFA Cup)
H Stoke City
A Man City
H Spurs
A Liverpool
A United
H Everton
There's also a possibility of 3 more games in that period (FA Cup QF if we beat Everton and 2 games vs the winner of Spurs/Shakhtar if we beat Moscow). In my opinion there is no real easy game there in the league either. Everton, Liverpool, Chelsea and United are always going to be tough, regardless of form. Man City and Spurs are teams that, on their day, can beat anyone! Stoke at home I would say s easy.. but it's a local derby and that makes it more difficult as their players will really be up for it. However, if we make it out of that spell still in the top 4, I believe we will do it.
If I were to pick a team to miss out on 4th, I dunno who it'd be. It would be nice to see a team with all of Chelseas money fail, but I like the club and it has plenty of players that I like. Arsenal go about their transfer in the right way (generally) and don't just throw money around.. but their lack of English players and their manager mean it would be nice to see them miss out. Either way will do I suppose!

It is rumoured that Guus Hiddink will be the temporary Chelsea manager for the remainder of the season. He doesn't want to return to club management apparently, but the £2.5m Chelsea are reportedly going to give him For 3 months work!) may be more than enough to persude him. He will remain as Russia coach and juggle both jobs, if he accepts the Chelsea offer.

Or even possible? That's quite a little task, tackling two high-profile jobs. What if he has got to be at two places at the same time. Three months, I know, but this I gotta see, if he goes for Chelsea.

I don't think it would be that difficult. International and club teas have little or nothing to do with each other really. International games are only played when club games aren't and the same the other way around. I never really understood fans who "put club before country" since there's never going to be a situation that could arise where you would ever need to do this.

No, I actually meant general meetings, etc, not games, in particular.

International matches are of course usually held while the club games are put on hold. Even if for three months, there may yet come a time when he's needed on more than one place at the same time. Then again it may not.

England players generaly don't get to declare themself fit, it's the medical staffs decision, to stop the big name players trying to get themselves out of meaningless games.
I have no problem with players playing and getting injured for country. But Heskey came off after an hour on Saturday with an injury. Common sense, Mr. Capello, common sense.
