That Balotelli talks too often and thinks too much of himself. Just shut up boy... if that other deal goes through it would be fantastic for Inter... and stupid from Napoli's part. I doubt and hope that it will not happen.

Galliani Mocks Inter: We Have Italians
The Nerazzurri have been much criticised for their lack of Italian players, and last season they had just one outfield player in their first team squad, Marco Materazzi, although Primavera star Mario Balotelli was also promoted towards the end of the campaign.

Milan meanwhile had a very Italian core to their line-up, and they have further signalled their intent ahead of next season by already signing Gianluca Zambrotta, Marco Borriello and Mathieu Flamini, the latter who has an Italian father.

"Flamini has an Italian passport, now we have also signed Zambrotta while we must also not forget the many Italians already on our roster,” sniggered Galliani.

“With Darmian and Paloschi, we have 16 Italians out of 25 players.”

The question of foreigners has been a hot topic around Europe recently, with FIFA President Sepp Blatter attempting to implement a 6+5 rule, which would impose on clubs a quota of six home-grown players and a maximum of five foreigners.

Galliani: Drogba Talks Have Begun

The Blues hit-man has been looking to leave the club since the departure of former coach and great mentor Jose Mourinho early on in the season.

Having been linked with all of European football's major heavyweights, many suspected the Cote d'Ivoire star's new club would be the same as Jose's, but with the Portuguese now bound for Internazionale, the favourites to sign Drogba are their city rivals Milan.

Milan have not been afraid of emphasising their need for a striker or two this summer, with Amauri - now officially of Juventus - being linked, along with the less likely Luca Toni, former club legend Andriy Shevchenko (who is now also of Chelsea, much against his own will it would seem), as well as Samuel Eto'o, Emmanuel Adebayor, Mario Gomez, Karim Benzema and of course Drogba, among others.

It seems as if the former Marseille man is their number one target, with Galliani revealing today that negotiations have now begun.

"[Milan coach] Carlo Ancelotti wants Drogba. He does," revealed Galliani. "I do not see anything wrong in a transfer, talks have already begun."

How does he mock Inter? He does not even mention them... unsure.gif

Sounds logical...we can't pay 50 mill pounds for a player and then an astronomical wage.

Lippi:  I will never coach milan
Lippi has been on a two year sabbatical since winning the World Cup with Italy in the summer of 2006.

The 60-year-old has stated on numerous occasions that he would be returning to the bench in time for next season, and he has been strongly linked with taking over at Milan.

However Lippi has made it perfectly clear that he could never boss the Rossoneri as he believes it would be a betrayal due to his links with old club Juventus, who he enjoyed stunning success with during two spells.

"The national team and Juventus were the two big love stories in my life as a coach,” Lippi told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“They are the only two Italian benches where I could go back to work.

“Milan are a club who have made the history of Italian football and Berlusconi and Galliani are great leaders. But I could not betray my two great loves.”

Lippi has also been linked with a sensational return to the Italy bench after Euro 2008, but he says this is an unlikely occurrence at this stage.

“With regards to Italian football, for the moment, the door is closed,"  he concluded.

well if carlo ever goes to chelsea i guess we need to sign riijkard then.

Balotelli's arrogance is a personification of Inter. i hope he does leave Inter, that way Pato and Paloschi will be the only teenage superstars in Milano

He is 17, does he really think he is better than Ibra and Cruz

I agreee.

Drogba = Cheaper + Older (30 yo) + Stat [Career total (League): 329 matches = 141 goals]

Eto'o = Expensive + Younger (27 yo) + Stat [Career total (League): 334 matches = 169 goals]

But let's not forget Ronaldinho who Galliani consider a striker. Well, even Flamini is a striker for Galliani.

The 3 are a bit of cunto though. All love the show-off and to attract the media.
Knowing Milan usual transfer-policy we'd go for the older meaning Drogba. But with Mourinho in Inter he could go there and we'd sign another one, probably Ronaldinho as he's cheaper than Eto'o.

He would be a great signing indeed
armiss
It would be really bad if we get one only without Ronaldinho .

Drogba + Ronaldinho or Eto'o + Ronaldinho must be the choice

Drogba and Eto'o are really explosive and dangerous . i cant imagine when one of them arrive !

between Drogba and Eto'o i like Drogba more but i think if we have Eto'o ready he will be superior over everyone !

If we got Ronaldinho AND Gomez, I'd call this transfer campaign a very successful one. Inter can buy whoever they want, but with this line up:

------------Kalac-----------------
Oddo Nesta Kaladze Zambrotta
------------ Pirlo------------------
------Gattuso---------------------
----------------Ronaldinho-------
---------Kaka---------------------
-------------------Pato------------
----------Gomez------------------

We'll kill them.

Too attacking? We have good defensive fullbacks.

nice formation but it would be more like this

Oddo-nesta-kaladze-zambrotta

-----gattuso----pirlo------------

---kaka--------------ronaldinho---

---------pato------------------
----------------gomez---------

Ronnie will move central with ball and kaka will switch to wings. Pato will stay behind gomez as ss and gomez/drogba/eto will be box.

4-2-2-2. Gattuso and pirlo will be DM

After this season Ambrosini should at least start the next one as a standard first XI player. That means Gattuso out, or -- Gomez/Pato out. But it won't happen anyway. It's either Dinho or Eto'o/Drogba/(Gomez).

Do I have to mention that Dida will be given a second (third) chance and he'll start as No.1, followed by Abbiati. Third - Kalac.

And we need a CB. We really do. Kaladze as starter is...more then frightening.

Of Drogba, Eto'o and Ronaldinho.. It's close between Drogba and Eto'o. One is younger, but the other can stay fit. But I think we'll go with R10 personally, which would be a shame.

Bonera was, is and will be better than Kaladze on CB. I don't rate Kaladze's CB skills at all.

Still, neither Bonera, nor Kala (and Å imić) will be enough. We need a quality GK or a great CB. That's simple. One of the two positions must be covered to have a decent defense you can rely on.
