Wow. Never knew we were third richest! 

Since Lerner took over there is more of a 'happy' atmosphere around the entire club. MON has done a good job so far (even though our league position wouldn't agree) as our performances have been superb. I think we have about 10 players under the age of 23 that play quite regular (good future  )

Transfer-wise we've got John Carew in a swap for Baros, good move so far, Carew alrerady has more for the season than Baros did 

Petrov £6.5m He's been solid, bot nothing special.

Ashley Young £9.65m (Villa transfer record) He's had some great performances, scored on his debut, but quietened down a little since.

The best thing is Lerner seems to have a real interest in the club, he already owns a sports team so I can't see him getting bored and he seems to have his heart in the right place.

We should seriously be pushing for Europe next season, and if England does get that extra CL spot, in all seriouslness, there's no reason why we couldn't get it. I'm not joking either!, lol

My home team is Milan, my only team. 

In here, I don't like any team in particular, just hate the corrupted ones (FC Porto). So my vote goes for the other big ones, from the capital Lisbon: Benfica and Sporting Lisbon.

PS: And I live in Porto (or Oporto as the foreigns say).

Well, quite natural as they're the "big one" down here. Just to imagine, Portugal has around 11M people, 6 from those are Benfica fans. (About 3M from Sporting and 2M Porto fans)

It's the people's club and there are many Benfica fans around the world. Maybe their influence too. Maybe their history, their titles (big difference to Porto and Sporting), etc.

Porto is a club more from a city... only from a city - Porto. And the fanbase basically only in the North, specially around Porto. And their success is quite recent.

Sporting is more from the South. It's the big rival from Benfica, historically. It's said that it's the club of the rich people... high-society, etc. They've a superb youth academy, the best in country.

And do you know which club Villa bought Schmeichel from, I believe it was the same one, not sure though. I always get muddled up between some of the portugese teams.

And yup, Schmeichel played from 99 to 2001 for Sporting. He won a championship with them here.

Well Chelsea are some lucky b@stards. When you can't brake down Watford then you know you've got problems. Totally lucky goal especially after the chances some of Watford's strikers missed but having Cech has just changes Chelsea's fortune.

Man U where rubbish in the first half, because Ronaldo wasn't playing well but in the seconf half they produced a great performance and C.Ron was the brains behin 3 of the goals, most notable the equiliser and the winner.

In Italy i think its head to head encounters between the top two teams, if both were 0-0 for example then it would go to goal diff

Valencia striker David Villa has revealed he would be interested in a move to England if the opportunity arose, with Liverpool his favourite club.



The Spanish international has been continually linked with a move to the Premiership with Chelsea and Liverpool among his suitors.

Villa is one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe after his goalscoring exploits for club and country in the last few years.

Liverpool tried to sign Villa before he joined Valencia and reports suggest they could make a new move for the skilful forward in the summer.

Villa, who says he follows Liverpool because of his friendship with Reds keeper Jose Reina, admits he would consider an offer to play in England.

"I never planned to play in England, but if an offer arrives I'll take a look at it," Villa told Zoo magazine.

Chelsea, with Shevchenko and Drogba... probably with Crespo back on next season... would be a bad choice.

We don't miss a pure finisher like him. We miss a guy like Shevchenko, Villa, Del Piero, Ronaldinho, Rooney, Zlatan... I mean, a guy who can be the perfect partner for THOSE pure finishers (Gilardino, Inzaghi... even Ronaldo nowadays).

It depend on how much we really want him. Chelsea wouldn't mind too much. But I don't think he would want to come back here after we rejected him a year ago and thing he said after. Plus he is almost 32 and box striker

You're right on that, but I just would love to have him back. Crespo is a great finisher and I think we could use his experiance. Especially if Gila starts next season the way he did this one and Pippo leaves.

We needed him this season. For next season I think we would buy someone big and he isn't ready to be bench player yet. Plus he said that he want to end his career at merda.

I don't want him after what he said. Even though I don't really know what that is but I've heard the rumours... if anyone has a link with some of his comments it would be useful.

I don't want anyone for just a season. I too think he would be great but such short spells spoil the calmness of the locker room. Last year we were left in need of some of his goals; even though we score A LOT we still wished we could have him...
