EPL experts, please answer this question:
If a team ends the EPL with the same number of points of other... for example:

United 95 pts
Chelsea 95 pts

What's does the EPL says? Better goal-average finishes top? Or is it the matches between both teams?

Thanks. Here in the Portuguese League are the matches between both teams. (No playoff... it's to compare the results of the 2 clashes between them... Champions League style)

I think a championship game between two teams is a better way

I don't think Serie A has a play-off anymore. It's goal difference also.

Man U practically have a 7 point gap over Chelsea with their much higher goal difference

If you're not sure who's going to win the EPL this season, get relegated and whatnot. Fill in the scores on this predictor and it'll give you the final table. I thought it was a pretty good idea.

Villa 1-1 Everton

Arteta swung in a free kick, Lescott headed at the back post, deflected off Freddie Bouma into the back of the net ('15)

Everton were the better side in the first half.

Villa dominated the second half, but as one sided as it was, only managed the one goal. Carew 'caused a problem in the box, Gabbi Agbonlahor reacted first to equalise with his first goal in front of the Holte End ('83) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

NOTE: Could somebody PLEASE tell me how Andy Johnson is in the England team?

In Italy i think its head to head encounters between the top two teams, if both were 0-0 for example then it would go to goal diff

Yeah, unless they've changed it.

However it definitely goes on goal difference in the Premiership.

It's only 3 points now (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) and United still need to play at Stamford Bridge
