I don't wanna comment the first part cause this is not a political discussion. But I need to say that I object to your opinion.
As for the second part. I think Locke simply wanted to state that there are terrible things happening all over the world and yes: Those civilians are the innocent victims of a conflict that should have been solved over ten years ago.
Welcome back
Its your opinion my friend and I am not going to type one more word about this, because this is not the place to talk about such matters.

Prandelli: Fiorentina Haven't Stolen Any Results
Fiorentina have managed two impressive consecutive come backs in Serie A over the past nine days, scoring in the final minute of both matches to draw Genoa 3-3 and win over Chievo Verona 2-1.
"Some of my players are wearing tights, as they have committed robbery," laughed Viola coach Cesare Prandelli when being interviewed by Calciomercato.
"Joking aside, we have not stolen anything, we only the presumption that we are able to do better and this means until June arrives we will fight until the end for fourth place in Serie A."
Despite the run of good results in domestic play, Fiorentina were defeated by Ajax Amserdam 1-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Cup tie in Florence.
"I am optimisic, but to win in Holland we must go there both convinced and motivated. We must believe, because everything depends on us," concluded the Italian tactician.
Fiorentina play the second-leg against Ajax on Thursday evening, and then visit Calabria to play relegation-threatened Reggina on Sunday.
What a liar

They absolutely robbed Chievo of a point/stole 2 points.

What happened in that match?
A combination of a second straight buzzer-beater by Mutu, at the same time Chievo were furious that a foul went uncalled.
QUOTE (Channel 4)
Fiorentina equalised at the last second last week and did it again! Once more Mutu bagged the winner with the last kick of the game, as Gilardino touched back for the Romanian's fierce strike that ricocheted in off goalkeeper Sorrentino's leg! Chievo were livid, as they felt there was a foul on Mandelli in the build-up, so Frey and Gamberini fought to stop a huge brawl breaking out. Yepes above all was furious and had to be manhandled into the players' tunnel.
dst
Feb 24 2009, 01:46 AM
That's just stupid. Mistakes can happen, if it was a foul it did not decide the match; Chievo still had spent 90 minutes they could have done more with.
Zed.D
Feb 24 2009, 09:50 AM
Mistake? go watch the goal, please! Chievo player jumped to head the ball, Mutu clearly fouled on him (and didn't even touch the ball), and while the ref was just 2 meters from the scene, he scandalously ordered to play on, and the very same Mutu scored just seconds later.
I was about to puke when I saw it on TV...
What on earth do you mean by this?!!
QUOTE

It was the 93rd minute and Chievo were about to draw at Franchi. it did not decide the match? how?

I'm just saying that one can't blame the ref for everything that happens. There are going to be mistakes. But what did Chievo do in 93 minutes to deserve more than they got?

I know what you mean. I just think it wasn't a
mistake at all. it was a very bad and harsh decision and the ref should be punished for it! I mean, what was he thinking when he ordered to play on...? even my grandma could tell that was a foul!

Didafan gives Nando Muslera some Ghiradelli chocolate originally intended for Fishdoll, after he kept his second straight clean sheet and saved Lazio's goose a couple times in their 2-0 win over Bologna today.
And to think that Carrizo was being hailed as Lazio's GK savior at the start of the season.
Tennie

Fishdoll would normally cry at being supplanted by some goalkeeper, but he is also rather fond of young Muslera - who did indeed have a good game. Zarate's two goals were also rather nice.

Gobbi 1 - 0 Napoli, goal by Marchisio.
The game turned rather nasty toward the end, especially after Napoli had a goal disallowed for offsides. Lots of Napoli players losing their tempers and a bit of handbags between Chiellini (who ended up with a yellow) and Denis. Legrottaglie went off injured (collision with Buffon on a corner), no idea if the injury is bad.

Well, here's
some explanation:
QUOTE (Ch. 4)
There was a scare on 69 minutes when another long free kick went into the six-yard box, so Legrottaglie and Buffon crashed into each other in the desperate attempt to clear. The defender got the worst of it and limped off with a left knee problem.
Off topic, but I also saw this on Ch. 4:
QUOTE (Ch. 4)
Players of that Italy side have marked the occasion [winning the '06 WC] with tattoos, but Buffon has a mosaic of a World Cup trophy in his swimming pool. "It was a present to myself. Every morning I dive in, kiss the trophy, and then come back out again."
Another reason why Buffon rules.

I think hes giving balotelli playing time because he pretty much has the title in the bag. Giving ibra rest ahead of CL is understandable.
