Oh shite...Scolari....realmad.gif Talk of f@ckin wild cards... Certain details?? I think Barca want a resell percentage or something...or extra money, depending on the position Milan finish in. That's what it sounds like.

Damn it......f@ckin Chelski....

That's what they were talking about yesterday on mediaset's Studio Sport.

2m extra if R10 score more then 10 goals
1m for reaching CL spots
2m for winning scudetto

I jest went on tutto mercato web and they are saying that the difference is 5m not 10. We'll just have to wait and see since all these different reports we've been getting are about to give me a migrain

Thanks for the update, han.

By the way, how come Laporta thinks our offer of 8 million is satisfactory? reading.gif it is super-unsatisfactory IMO!

I don't think that it was 8m to begin with. It probably was more between 15 and 20.

But I still don't understand how now they are reporting that they still haven't agreed on the fee, when Laporta himself yesterday said that both offers were satisfactory
Jack Sparrow
They're confusing initial transfer fee, with all the added fees etc. I guess Milan's initial transfer fee, with added benefits is satisfactory, while Man C are just offering a one time payment. If all goes well, Barca might net upto 25 million is what I'm guessing.

City: Ronaldinho Serious About Joining Us

Mixed messages continue to punctuate the Ronaldinho transfer saga. It seems clear he will be leaving Barcelona, but for whom? Recent reports have pointed to AC Milan, but now Manchester City chairman Garry Cook, confirming that the club has made a £22million bid for the Brazilian, insists that his target 'just wants to play in the Premier League.'

Garry Cook, chairman of Manchester City, is quoted in The Guardian newspaper as saying: "I can confirm that we have made a bid [of £22million for Ronaldinho].

"It has been a complicated process, not least because the Barcelona organisation has just gone through a fundamental change because of their elections, meaning that a new general manager is in place and we are talking to different people than before. But in the simplest terms, we have made an offer."

And Cook stressed that Ronnie is serious about moving to England with City. He continued: "We are determined to do everything we can to make this happen. As for his intentions, they are somewhat muddled because of the interest from elsewhere, but what I can say is that he has shown a genuine interest in playing for Manchester City."

"He is not playing games with us. He just wants to play football. And the really important thing is, does he want to play in the Premier League? If you were to ask him that, his answer would emphatically be YES."

So, while some reports insists that the Brazilian expects to be a Milan player by the end of this week, the British media are suggesting that, after months of negotiations, Ronaldinho could well be signing a Manchester City contract within days.

The City deal is acknowledged to be the more lucrative for the player.

It's gonna be official the next hours.

10R only wants Milan, Barcelona want the best for him too so they're not going to force him to City.
Something like 15+5, or 20+5 M/euros...

Relax. He's flying to Malpensa sooner than you think.

Ancelotti Hails Imminent Ronnie Arrival

Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has hailed Ronaldinho as a “champion”, as the Italian press believes that the Brazilian will complete his move to San Siro within the next 48 hours.

One of the main transfer soap operas of the summer could be finally drawing to a close, as the Italian press is absolutely adamant that Ronaldinho will sign for Milan within the next couple of days.

Yesterday was an exhausting day, with Milan general manager Adriano Galliani engrossed in negotiations with Ronaldinho, his brother and agent Roberto de Assis, Barçelona president Joan Laporta and the club's Director of Football, Txiki Begiristain.

The end result was that Barcelona will now take "two or three days" to mull over Milan’s offer, having allegedly told Ronaldinho that, in case his move is not completed within 72 hours, he will mandatorily have to join the rest of the squad for training.

Premiership side Manchester City have bid more than double that of Milan for the Brazilian (€32 million), and offered a €12million-a-year contract, but the player is only interested in moving to Milan.

The Italian media believe that Ronaldinho will certainly be a Milan player by Friday at the very latest.

"The important thing is to have champions and Ronaldinho without a doubt is one of them," said Rossoneri coach Carlo Ancelotti.

"Quality is our trademark and it will continue to be whether Ronaldinho arrives or not. "Our aim is as usual to win while providing a good show. This is Milan."

Don't know how exactly he's hailing the 'signing' since he doesn't say anything concrete about Milan signing him.

But hopefully these are more positive signs and this whole thing will be over with today

The thing is done. Since the weekend when - as you know - MilanChannel suddenly changed his schedule to put Ronaldinho vs. Milan matches on (Barcelona in San Siro, Albertini's tribute, etc).

Those were the signs. And official ones.

Now they're just having a nice meal and adjusting some details.

Yeah I saw them but didn't think anything of it. But it was strange thinking back on it I guess it was their subtle way of announcing it without actually saying anything official.

How long do you think it will take before it is announced. Would the latest possible time be tonight? since I read that R10 will go back to Brazil tomorrow

If it was for Galliani and Bronzetti they'd love to be flying and having meals in Catalonia for the entire Summer. But I think Barcelona wants to do it right now.

Announced? Hum, that I dunno. It can be in the end of the meeting, tonight, tomorrow or in end of August.
But I believe it will be on the next hours.

10R back to Brazil? For his recovery or just personal?

They talked about this on Milan Channel yesterday, they said that Kaka, Bonera and Pippo were not allowed to go by Milan but R10 has already been selected to play before he was a Milan player so the scenario would be different between him and our players that's why he would be allowed to go

han, Milan consider 25+5 M/euros an abuse and is not willing to pay that.

Now Galliani will talk to Ronaldinho. It's up for the player to tell Barcelona he only wants Milan and force the blaugrana to sell.

So does this mean that Ronaldinho isn't coming to AC Milan again..Maine can't Barca let this guy go..He said he wants to leave..Our offer is okay for them..Can't they see that if we weren't in some kind of crisis we would get ronaldinho

It says that Barca have pushed the asking price to 25MM Eur, with 5MM of it being incentives.

Galliani wasn't please. And that Ronaldinho will be turning City's latest offer down to force the hand of Laporta.

And let's hope everything goes well and Ronaldinho is willing to do what Galliani wants him to do.
