Which ar eworth 3 times his wage

It's better for a player to accept a lower wage then have to share his image rights (Ronaldo)

Me neither. Give Nesta and Pirlo a pay rise. I cannot believe Sol Campbell earns more than world cup winners.

Sorry...I know I sound like a broken record. sad.gif But doesn't this rub anyone else the wrong way?
*

I think it's to do with smallish clubs like Pompey paying huge wages in order to attract decent players. But in this years showing, he's deserved to be on higher wages to be quite honest.

Anyways, on the 'Just In' thing on SSN they said Ronaldinho has just been in 'informal talks' with Milan, whatever that means.

Pato Supports Ronaldinho Signing
Alexandre Pato has become the latest figure at Milan to support the likely signing of Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho

The Barcelona playmaker seems almost certain to join the Rossoneri after Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani revealed last night that a deal for both the Brazilian and Chelsea’s Andriy Shevchenko was as good as done.

"He is great,” said Pato, when asked about Ronaldinho’s probable arrival.

“I know he is, even if some people say otherwise without knowing him well.

“A slacker? Who says? He trains in Barcelona, you should check him every day before you judge. And also this year he has been plagued by injuries.

"As a person, finally, he is exceptional - like all the Brazilians that I've met since coming to Europe."

Paloschi

Pato also had some words of praise for fellow teenage young gun Alberto Paloschi, as well as midfield bulldog Rino Gattuso.

"Paloschi is great, we already understand eachother, even though we've never played together before,” the Brazilian stated.

"I also love playing with (Rino) Gattuso. I watched him on TV at home in Brazil and now I am playing with him. On the field he is a fighter, but in training he is full of jokes."

While agents confirm a deal between Milan and Ronaldinho, Massimo Moratti insists “he won’t move a muscle before hearing Inter’s proposal.”

This week the Rossoneri – specifically general manager Adriano Galliani – announced that Ronaldinho and Andriy Shevchenko were “180 per cent Milan players.”

President Silvio Berlusconi also stated a transfer for the Brazilian could be made official before Sunday.

Agent Roberto de Assis commented: “We only want to talk to Milan. He will either go there or stay at Barcelona” and last night go-between Ernesto Bronzetti told the media “there is a deal with the player.”

However, and certainly not for the first time, their cross-city cousins have dived in to ruin the party in spectacular fashion.

“I would like to say something about Ronaldinho,” stated President Moratti in the Corriere dello Sport.

“The player and Barcelona will not move a muscle before hearing our proposal. By ‘ours’, I mean that of Inter.

“What will we do? We have taken some time out to evaluate various situations. In the meantime, though, we are receiving unequivocal signs of interest.”

Having already snatched Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Patrick Vieira and David Suazo out of their clutches, Inter are prepared to cause another shockwave in the transfer market.

It is reported that Manchester City were the first club to officially contact Barca enquiring after Ronaldinho, followed by Inter.

Milan only made the call on Thursday to have permission to talk directly to the player’s agent, but it is claimed that next week Inter have set up a meeting with both Barcelona chief Joan Laporta and agent Assis.

The only way I wouldn't go crazy if merda snatch Dinho from us, is if we would then sign Benzema, C.Ronaldo, and Mascherano..... we all know what are the chances of signing them cool.gif

Sacchi: I Would Not Sign Unprofessional Ronaldinho

Former Italy coach Arrigo Sacchi has blasted Ronaldinho by suggesting that the Blaugrana star has shown a lack of professionalism recently.

Ronaldinho has in the past come under fire for his antics such as missing training or returning back late from international duties and Sacchi admits that he would not sign players who lack such discipline.

The Brazilian looks likely to leave the Blaugrana and move to Milan but the former Parma coach has his doubts.

“Ronaldinho’s professionalism has never really been extraordinary,” Sacchi told Marca.

“He is a gifted player but I don’t think he has taken full advantage of this.

“Now it’s down to him to return to being a great player and to get back fit because he has hardly played this year.

“With me players would have to train, I wouldn’t really be interested in players who don’t work hard.

“I love players who train with passion, discipline and motivation. Other coaches don’t think that hard work is important and they sign players who do what they want.”

It seems as if Sacchi is trying to warn Milan to steer clear of the Brazilian however it may already be too late as the Rossoneri have all but signed the playmaker.

Sacchi is right to some extent.

But, I don’t remember a player wearing Milan jersey who acted unprofessionally (didn’t work hard, or missed trainings regularly, or went out often at nights)

So, at Milan there’s a different regime. cool.gif

You don't remember seeing a Milan player that didn't work hard? I think the only players I have seen work hard regularly this season are Ambro and Pato. The rest have used this season as a vacation by the looks of things.

Ronaldinho will just add to our problems in my opinion, and he's not the sort of player we need to have around Pato.

I have to dissagree with you.

If on the pitch players aren't on top form, doesn't mean that they're not working hard. Maybe some of them aren't motivated anymore, but thats smth else!

And when I said hard work, I meant that none of the players left training or missed training just for fun; they either were injuried or had a good reason.

my point was: Dinho missed more than half of Barca's training sessions this season, and thats NOT going to be repeated at Milan, I can assure u about that! wink.gif

its not all about Silvio, its about the overall environment in Milan.

he'll immidiately realize the philosophy of Milan and will see that players actually MUST respect first of all each other and then the coach and the management rules (if I can call them rules.... or maybe better called code of behaviour).

He did what he did at Barca, coz they allowed him too much liberty/freedom! He wasn't scared of anyone, and especially this season I think he totally lost motivation!

after all, what do you expect from a club who's staff-worker (cant remember who he was) said in the medias that there are split groups in Barca squad? I really had the utmost respect for Barca as a club in general, but recent problems have started to change my mind.

and I dont think there's a more organized club then Milan in Europe! (and I'm not saying this coz I love Milan, but I trully mean it!

That's just not true. He has his opinion and since he'd achieved much for us in the past he is the one we should hear. Also his comments are of minor importance for the teams attitude or energy, I don't think he's disturbing anyone.

sacchi should stfu and mind his own business. He is useful to us for more than just on-field reasons. The revenue we bring in and fans we bring in by his name alone is worthy of his transfer. Besides if we get him on form and able to play with kaka, we will have an amazing midfield for the next 3 years. HE is flopaldinho now but i belive in milan he'll change.

Watch how milan will be looked at with more interest coming next season because the world is interested in seeing how ronnie does.

Now this transfer is done lets look at others:

WORLDCLASS STRIKER: cannot cost less than 20 million.

I am with Bluesummers on this. Fear is not something the name Milan gives people at the moment, that's why teams are beating us, bad teams.

It's all well and good saying teams just play Milan with 11 men behind the ball, but it obviously isn't the case as we're losing these games, it's not like they're defending for the draw.

And in my opinion it's two very league bad seasons in a row. Yes, we won the CL last season, but it's a whole lot easier to do when you basically give up on the league. Now I'm not saying it was fluke, or a bad season that we won something. But winning that competition deluded not only the fans, but the club itself.

Anyways, on topic.. It seems that it's only a mtter of time until this Ronaldinho thread is moved into the players section. dry.gif
