Bronzetti: "Barcelona has to sell some of their players, they want to sign Bin zema"

The tug of war between Milan and Barca over the signature of Zambrotta and Ronaldinho is still on.

The word in Spain is that Barcelona FC has planned for a new face of it's team, the team that failed for two consecutive years to land a title worthy of the club. But an operation like this would require a big budget, something the Catalan club can not conjure at the moment, especially if they were concidering to go after French forward Karim Bin Zema.

And Milan tries, through it's middleman Ernesto Bronzetti, to take advantage of this situation. And Bronzetti says: "Barcelona needs to sell some of their players, if they want to sign player's of the stature of Bin Zema."

And this seems to be the new strategy of Milan in getting the players that they want by using Barca's desire to renew their team.

biggrin.gif Win-win situation for both huh?

Of course....there will be some screaming in the forum, coz we might not land Benzema.

Ronaldinho has taken legal action against the paper that fabricated about his health condition

Ronaldinho along with the club Bacelona FC will take legal action against the Catalan paper ADN.

The paper had printed a report last week, claiming that Ronaldinho is in a critical state in terms of his health and that he had sneaked into one of the private clinics in the area to find out that his physical health was in question.

Ronaldinho will press charges against the paper for damaging his general image and his reputation, but in truth this step that the Brazilian had taken is in direct correlation to Milan; for the news have tied these reports to Berlusconi's statement where he no longer has the desire to bring Ronaldinho.

And with him taking this issue to court, Milanello's doors are wide open again: It is the destination that Dinho is working night and day with his brother to make it a reality.

Tomorrow Silvio will want him again. wink.gif

I'm really depressed to see everyone sees him as some sort of devil. why would he want to trouble our dressing room? why? no one can answer that [I remember Messi once said it was Ronaldinho who always helped him in the dressing room and if it wasn't for him, he wouldn't be what he is now]. again why wouldn't he want to be back to his best? I think 'potentially' he's still the best footballer in the world.

Trouble in dressing room is always very ordinary , not only Ronaldinho , every other player every time can interrupt the balance , we always saw that but finally it went good !

Come on Ronaldinho come on !

well in one way may be but i belive Kaka at his best CR7 at his best messi at his best are still short of what R10 is when he is at his best in that case i think he is better than kaka or the rest

Crazy and Blue are both right on their own counts. In terms of sheer natural talent, I don't think Ronladinho can be matched. smile.gif But yeah, when it comes to carrying a whole team, Kaka is the man. If I had a club, by all means, I'd want Kaka more than R10.

Ronaldinho beats Kaka, Messi, Christiano hands down when it comes to free kicks, making assists, even hitting the post. That's, of course, when he's at his best. In a way the best of R10 is the combined best of all those mentioned above. It would be something if we can get a combo of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, and Pato going. Should be a delight to see that at Milan.

Ronaldinho's game was never as substantial as Kaka's... not even when he won the Ballon d'Or. A better player yes, at that time he was but Kaka never expended his game on tricks, it was always about essence.

Anyway... if he comes I hope he succeeds of course. Even at 80% of what he was he would be amazing... and the trio of Kaka-Pato-Ronaldinho would work miracles for Brazil too if they learn each other so well by playing together every week!

He's a drug addict and an alcoholic. As much is I admire him as the best player of all times one shouldn't listen to the things former stars say. Even those who are still in charge of something (Platini, Beckenbauer...) talk more sh!te than anything else when questioned about todays players.

I want him to come. I see the competition between him & Seedorf as a good thing for them, Serie A, all football fans & the team. They'll be extra-motivated, we'll be stronger & we'll be able to say we had the right attitude on the transfer market. Plus, I don't think if we get him, it'll mean we won't reinforce other areas in the squad! cool.gif biggrin.gif

Agreed. Ronaldinho's arrival will make Seedorf play better [didn't we always complain that he doesn't play like he should in front of small teams?] and vice versa.

Interesting piece in Barcelona daily Sport (link)

My Spanish is not the greatest, but I think it's saying that these mysterious tests that Ronaldinho underwent at the clinic showed that he'd used anabolic steroids to recover from his injury.

In this article, there's a link to another article that says a Barca player supplied diluted vitamin C when players were asked to supply urine samples for club tests -- something that could get a player a lenghty ban if it were done for official tests.

What's interesting is that -- please tell me if I'm wrong, Porty! -- Sport is a Barcelona paper/website that's usually PRO-Barca. Wonder if this information is true or if Barca are now trying to publicly discredit Ronaldinho to make his departure more palatable to their fans.

Wow, guess they changed their mind. This is the same paper that said Barca were offering Ronaldinho-Zambrotta-Deco for Kaka. Hsm. Then again, it's the Barcelona paper and likely reliable for Barca-related stuff. (Porty? What's your take?)

I don't see anything about this in the Italian press yet.

I don't know much about the reliability of Spanish sources (Porty is the expert on that), but the Ronaldinho-to-Milan for 25 million is appearing in the Italian media this morning, with the additional information that the deal will be concluded next week (after the CL final).

Now the Gazzetta dello Sport is concurring what was written in the Catalan Sport paper .. But there is a twist, as this is the final offer Milan will put in for Ronaldinho, if they agree he is Milan bound, if not Milan wont continue on his pursuit. And though there are four other clubs ready to do business with Barca, Ronaldinho only wants Milan, and if they don't accept, Ronaldinho could leave for free when his contract ends (i.e. lose-lose situation for them).

Berlusconi's statement that he always had doubts about Ronaldinho's arrival to Milan and that he is not very interested anymore .. That was just a strategy, claims the Gazzetta dello Sport, to lower their asking price.

In one weeks time, Galliani will be in Spain to present a 9M/yr contract to Ronaldinho.

----------------------------------------

@Tennie ... Looks like it's full steam ahead .. And not only that, now it is being revealed by the Corriere dello Sport, that Drogba has been show interest by Milan for over a yr now. And that he will not be tailing Mourinho where ever he goes, if he receives an offer from Milan.

Another option, would be Borriello, also reported by Corriere, and that he would be a Milan player at any moment, if things elsewhere dont go to plan. Final striker Milan are looking at is Shevchenko, and his transfer depends on Chelsea agreeing to let him go on loan for free.

Not quite sure Barca are stupid enough to give us all their unwanteds
(assets of the past!)
...Even if we wanted them both (lets not forget Zambrotta is likely to also be on his way here!), so Dinho, Eto'o and Zambo won't be a very expected trio of arrivals!
It could hurt Barca in the end! (and i am sure they don't want that!)

Barça are not giving Milan all their unwanted players, they're selling them, full stop. Apart R10 who wants to play only for Milan, the other are just on sale, it's just a matter of coincidence (or maybe not, let's say it because we are in desperate need of some new players) that we're linked with all of them, I'm mean if Chelsea puts Drogba, Terry, Cech and Cole we'll be out there trying to sign them too.
CrazyMilanFan
getting eto-R10-zambrotta will mean we will only look for defender(CB) and maybe someone for pirlo bcoz lloris seems certain aswell
morgoth
I don't think Eto'o will come to Milan he'll probably end in the EPL. Wait and see ...

By the way, Fester denied the 25M€ story, he said that he didn't know Barcelona lowered their price for R10 and even if they did it's not what Milan offered (Milan supposedly have offered less than that) ...

You have to take Chelsea in account too, they'll probably lose Drogba and Eto'o would probably be their objective since he's the only world class striker on the market.

Milan keep Dinho offer down
Saturday 17 May, 2008

While some newspapers report of a Ronaldinho deal for £20m, Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani insists he never offered that much.

Spanish sources over the past 24 hours have suggested a contract is all drawn up with Barcelona to complete the summer transfer in a £20m agreement.

“I often speak with the Barcelona directors and I can confirm that the figures talked about in the papers was not the offer put forward by Milan. Our proposal was far inferior to that,” said Galliani.

There are other sides in the hunt for Ronaldinho, above all Manchester City, but the Brazilian has long made it clear he has agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri and will only accept a transfer to San Siro.

Milan are certainly set for a complete revolution over the summer with players such as Marcos Cafu and Serginho already confirming their departure.

It has been reported the club intercepted negotiations between Palermo and Juventus to snatch striker Amauri.

“We are interested in all great players, but we are not thinking of any other forward until we have resolved Marco Borriello’s status,” added the general manager.

Serie A Capocannoniere Borriello is co-owned by Milan and Genoa, but looks set to leave Marassi at the end of the season with Napoli a possible option if he doesn’t return to base.

“If Borriello arrives, then we will not bring in another player of the same characteristics. If Amauri, after we have resolved the Borriello situation, is still available then that’s great.

“Otherwise there are many other alternatives, including some nobody would suspect who are offering themselves to Milan even if we only qualify for the UEFA Cup. You’ll see that someone will come, but first we must figure out what to do with the Capocannoniere who scored more goals than Amauri.”

The Rossoneri have their own problems to contend with this weekend, as they must beat Udinese and hope Fiorentina stumble away to Torino if they are to reach the Champions League.

Nonetheless, Galliani reserved a thought for arch rivals Inter, who have the Scudetto in the balance and have called a media silence all week.

“I find that incredible. You cannot stay silent faced with those who give great support to a football club. I think it is our duty to talk.”

Laporta On Ronaldinho's New Challenge, Etoo's Respectable Exit

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has indicated that Ronaldinho needs a new challenge in his career. He also insists that Samuel Eto'o should be sent off with due respect if he leaves the club...

Ronaldinho is one of Barcelona's players that have been linked with an exit for a while now, with reports even suggesting that he would be buying out his contract if the Catalans do not ease his way out.

President Laporta has sought to clarify for once and for all rumours that the Brazilian was frozen out for personal reasons, and explained that The Gaucho needs a new challenge.

All About Fitness

"I am responsible for everything, but there is a structure, and I do not have to interfere with anything," he told TV3.

"It was seen that Ronaldinho had not regained rhythm, so I do not think it was a matter of attitude or his personal life.

"The coach saw that he had not regained full fitness so he decided to not call him, but he was not removed."

Time For A Fresh Challenge

Laporta confessed that Barça were close to off-loading Ronaldinho last season, but that they opted not to as they were confident the Brazilian would return to his best form.

"Ronaldinho has always had a professional behaviour and he gave us good results, so last year we thought that we should give him another chance," Laporta explained.

"He had the desire to be the best in the world again. For that, and to thank him, we decided to give him another chance."

"Now, Ronaldinho needs new challenges," he continued. "It is normal that the time for him to stop rendering his services in Barça comes, but I would like him to leave, like Rijkaard, through the front door."

Eto'o Must Leave With Respect

Meanwhile, Laporta commented on the likely departure of Samuel Eto'o from the club, saying: "Eto’o has demonstrated loyalty, sacrifice, and that he is a man with character.

"He has been one of the most emblematic players, one who has given us many glorious moments. If he goes, he deserves to leave through the front door, with big honours," he concluded.
