Either R10 or Drogba....not both. Unless one of our current list were to leave.

If I had to choose then Drogba without a doubt. You have (maybe) the best striker in the world for the last two years vs the guy who lost it and has some unknown problems.

Milan don't need that, plus they are offering him most of the image rights anyway. At least Drogba will give us the African market.

Some may like this and some  may not.
ControCampo website has come to a conclusion over why Milan has been caught cold over the transfer of Ronaldinho. And that there has been a withdraw from the Milanese board over his imminent transfer to Milano.

The reason behind that is Kaka'. Seeing as he's contracted to the club till 2012 and is a future captain, his opinion is one of importance within the Milan hierarchy. Kaka' simply doesn't want a superstar to rival him for his spot in the team, and for that matter he has made it clear that Milan should opt for another option.
--------------------------------------------------------
Now, I don't know if this is just rumors and all ... But ControCampo has been very reliable in the past (as it is part of the mediaset network) .. I really don't know, still I refuse to believe that Ronaldinho wont come to Milan !! I expect him here, no later than next summer sad.gif
*

Can't see Kaka getting involved like that. In fact I feel like Kaka has added more fuel to the fire on the whole R10 to Milan issue since he said to the media many times about hor Ronaldinho asks him about Milan.

He has also said that he would like to play with R10 at Milan

Personally I don't see this as being more then a rumour

Dinho dreams

It is transfer rumour time again and as the inevitable Ronaldinho to Milan story reappears, Steve Wilson wonders if this time it will really come off
I have a confession to make. I pushed the strongest for Ronaldinho being on the cover of Calcio Italia back in December 2006. The image of the Brazilian magician half in a Barcelona shirt and half in a Milan shirt split the office, with some suggesting we were going down the road of the tabloids by leading with a sensational rumour. As it turned out, the move never happened and we were left somewhat with egg on our faces.

Nevertheless, there appears there is a chance my faith in our Italian colleagues’ inside knowledge may finally be vindicated next month when the transfer window reopens. Silvio Berlusconi has again reiterated his desire to sign the buck-toothed samba star, while Carlo Ancelotti has also, unsurprisingly, said he wouldn’t be averse to adding him to his roster.

Some fans will laughably claim that Roni is past his best, but I say that he just needs a fresh challenge. A move now would also be perfect timing for the Rossoneri. Cup-tied for the Champions League, if he did arrive he would be restricted to playing in Serie A – which would allow Carletto to rest Kaka ahead of European matches and have a fresh threat in his bid to push his side back towards the top four.

There is also the fact that this is Barcelona’s last chance to cash in the reported £98m buy-out clause they have placed on his head. By next summer the World Cup winner will be over 28 and under FIFA rules able to buy out his contract – which would cost an interested club around £15m. And with his best days at the Nou Camp seemingly behind him, it is a phenomenal depreciation of value.

He may look jaded for the Blaugranes, but I feel given a new start at the San Siro and with a new set of opponents to dazzle and fans to delight he would begin to entertain in the way he did at the height of his fame. Plus with the established Brazilian contingent based at the Giuseppe Meazza, he would feel right at home. So I am really hoping that we see the world champions break the world transfer record – if only so I can finally hold up the December 2006 issue and say ‘I told you so’.

Schuster Slams Barça For Ronaldinho Treatement

Bernd Schuster believes that Ronaldinho is being treated unfairly by Barcelona and claimed that the club has treated its star players badly for the last 30 years.

The Real Madrid coach evidently still feels wronged by the way that he was allowed to leave the Blaugrana and thinks that nothing has changed at Camp Nou.

With rumours circulating about Ronaldinho's future as well as his form and fitness, Schuster did not hold back as he slammed the Catalan outfit.

"It is very unjust. They are doing the same thing to Ronaldinho that they did to me," he explained.

"It is not difficult to forget that all the best players that have played there in the last 30 years have all left via the back door.

"Ronaldinho has been great, he changed their fortunes and helped Barça win the Champions League and two league titles. What more do they want from him?

"The worse thing is knowing how things are done at Barça and that he is not the first and will not be the last to receive this treatment.

"I really feel for him.

"I am not going to deny that his level has dropped in the past few months, but at his age it is ridiculous to say that he is finished."

Schuster spent eight years at Camp Nou after joining the club in 1980 and his decision to join Real Madrid was seen as his way of gaining a little revenge on Barça.

Now he believes that things should change at the Blaugrana and the players that bring the club success and money should be rewarded rather than allowed to fade away.

"The best players are the ones that give you identity and people should remember that," he continued.

"But I insist that I remember from my time there how I left and other famous players were treated.

"Nobody ended their time there well and our exit was ugly. It is unusual and of course is not the fault of the fans as they seem to understand."

Inter is not a place to revive a career, it's a place to ruin it wink.gif

There's this article on goal.com . Bronzetti says, Milan are done with R20 and are leaving him to Chelsea.

I believe it sounds like we finally realised we were being strung about to create a price war, and it's pissed of Silvio, who thought R20 would come to Milan to win , be with his Brazillian mates etc.

Rumours of Drogba to Barca of all places. With R20 going the other way. ohmy.gif

Rumours of Gila back to Prandelli's team.

Rumours of Prandelli to Liverpool next season. biggrin.gif

Funny, how one match from Pato, and everybody(media) suddenly agrees with the board, that we don't need any more strikers. biggrin.gif

Oh and Silvio feels Pato more than makes up for losing out on Zlatan.

And Inter are totally in shock after seeing Pato's performance, since they didn't try as hard to nail him. So now they're trying to unearth the new Pato. Sent quite a few people to Sao Paulo...I believe they're looking at Lulinha mainly.

laugh.gif Monkey see, monkey do.

Well that's all the news I can gather for the day. Good nite folks.

Zlatan was decent at Juve too. Anywa, Inter's 2 good years (or one or two players on the rise) after 4364354748 bad ones is the exception that proves the rule. And the rule is: Inter = Merda.

What about Cassano? I hear the Samp deal is almost done.

So has he turned out to be another one of those guys who has to be the biggest person in a small team, to do well?

Weren't Milan looking at him, once upon a time? If Gila is leaving, I'd rather we get Cassano in, among all the Italians out there. Of course that might be counter-productive, with our trident thingie.

A big fat NO. The guy is psycho. A few weeks ago he went mad in one of the Sampdoria games. One momemt he was crying arguing with a coach or something then after half game he scored a goal and started crying againg. He's a lunatic that can only demage a team (especially a big one like Milan). He will be playing in teams like Sampodoria till the end of his wasteful career.

Well Maldini and Costacurta are defenders, and these are forwards. Darn...what I'd give to have a solid stable backline once again.

Yeah, I agree with the Indian-preacher-turned-pirate.

It's almost as if Nesta is going to waste, eh?

^^^

Sad but true. This is a great fall for Nesta from that wall he had with Paolo in the centre.

Maybe he's gonna be like Paolo. Find an adequate replacement only in the twilight of his career. sad.gif

I really can't think of anyone, who can shoulder the responsibility equally with Nesta. They'll always be a support act. Esp. Kaladze. He's not horrible by any means. He's solid, but if Nesta were not there, he'd be in trouble.

I don't know if Bonera can scale up to that level. My gut says yes...but my gut would make R7 seem pessimistic

I think it will devastate Inter. There'd be too many good players. And Ronaldinho wants to be the star... he wants all lights on him, that's when he performs at his best. But Ibra is Inter's star player.
Rossoneri7
There could be that too .. Which would ultimately back-fire on them.

On the other hand, they have Figo who'd probably leave by the summer and Solari isn't a starter .. What I'm trying to say is, they might make way for Ronaldinho in their team. Which might make them a force (If Zlatan and R10 click).

Then again, as inter usually are, they might **** up all over again rolleyes.gif
Zed.D
I'm not sure if we really need Roaldinho with all our strikers healthy and available [though I'd like to have him]. on the other hand I think Inter need such player [trequartista] more than us. they've always lacked such player and they'll feel it even more when Figo retires.

Milan, Kakà vuole Ronaldinho

Ronaldinho?

On the same day, Spanish papers (from Madrid and Catalonia) say Ronaldinho is leaving Barcelona by the end of the season (saying there's no patience left in Barcelona board)... Kaka' says he'll welcome 10R.

Despite Berlusconi some weeks ago said Ronaldinho was not a Milan target and that he'd be a bad influence to Kaka' and Pato on and off the pitch... we'll never know what's going on backstage.

Berlusconi comments was very strange , he repeated for 2 years that he dreams about Ronaldinho and then on a very unusual pause said that he is not fit with us
but i heard it 2 times in news that their main focus is on Moratti and his approach to Ronaldinho , they dont want Ibra story

And I hope a smack on the head to de Assis. Can't believe we bought Oli, just to make this b-tard happy, so he'd give us his brother. And he goes around and screws us.

It's obvious that's what happened, which pissed Silvio off and he came out to say he isn't interested anymore in R10.

Coz if poor form etc was the reason,we wouldn't have brought Ronaldo. Who hadn't played in months.
