Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has defended his record in the transfer market during his time at Anfield. Benitez also compared his spending with Liverpool's nearest rivals.

This year on Carlos Tevez, Owen Hargreaves, Anderson and Nani, that cost them more than £70 million. Tottenham have spent £100 million in the last two seasons alone.
