Tevez is also 29 and had only 1 good season in the past 3 years. I'd take Higuain ove Tevez and pay more money for it. They need a pure scorer.
I don't think they need a pure striker that much, they have Matri/Quagliarella for that while Vucinic is the only striker they have capable to playing from deeper and he blows hot and cold on most occasions. Plus they also signed Llorente. So someone with Tevez's characteristics would most likely make their squad complete, but as you've pointed out, Tevez brings with him an entire slew of problems if he's not given whatever he wants

He's a headcase who's just come off a dreadful season and only cares about money. Disaster waiting to happen.

39(8)/ 17 Goals/ 10 Assists is not dreadful. I think he can be that quality player they've lacked upfront for a while now. And he is as much trouble as Balotelli. Balo won us points. I'm sure he'll win juve some important points too. Granted he joins them.

Well, 5 of those goals were in the Cup vs Barnsley (3), Watford and Leeds. His League+Europe record was dreadful.
Juve need a reliable scorer, that 20 goal a season man. Tevez has only done that twice in 7 years in England. Add to that he's past his prime and his off field problems and I don't think it'd be a good move.
If we signed him I'd be devastated as it'd undo all the good we've done trying to get the finances and stuff back into shape. If Juve sign him, it'd do the same for them.

Club legend Javier Zanetti has signed a new one-year contract with Italian outfit Inter. “They believe in me.”
The Argentine, who will celebrate his 40th birthday in August, is currently sidelined after he snapped his Achilles tendon in April.
He may not be back in action until October or November.
“First of all I'd like to thank the club for the faith they've shown in me,” he told the outfit’s website after putting pen to paper on a deal until 2014.
“We spoke at length about my injury and we decided to do another year. They've again shown they believe in me and my passion for Inter.
“I hope I can pay back their affection on the pitch.
“I'd like to thank the many fans who have sent their love over the last few weeks, and they've done likewise with the team in the first few days of the season ticket campaign, showing they'll be with us next season.
“I'm doing everything I can to come back fit and healthy, and to be ready for the Coach and my teammates.”
Zanetti was President Massimo Moratti’s first signing in the summer of 1995 after he joined from Banfield.
that's how you treat your legends...

But my main point has always been that he never had trouble with anyone at Milan, not with Allegri, not with Galliani or with any of his teammates.
And my biggest gripe was about the fact that not only did we give him to a direct rival but paid them 7m for Pazzini when Cassano is obviously the better player, maybe not better in the head, but as I said above we never had any issues with him

Better or not is very relative. Pazzini had a very good season with us.
And how do you know he had no problems with any teammates for sure?
The main point I'm saying is for some reason managements want to get rid of him at any cost, even with losses. Sampdoria released him, Milan handed him over in the fashion you described, now Inter is doing the same. This pattern makes me think it's not insanity or just a bad deal.

I don't think Tevez by himself is going to change anything. It's the whole unit I'm looking at, that's what matters for me.
At the moment I don't like what I'm seeing.
They're keeping Vidal and Pirlo, they have got Tevez and Llorente and they're in negotiations with Jovetic. If the last goes through, the distance between Juve and the rest just gets too big to deal with. We are looking at one more zero silverware season for Milan, no matter if you genetically spliced Sacchi, Capello, Carlo and SAF into one super coach.

They are gradually building a team, it's good for Italy to have a strong representative in europe. Milan is in it's early stage of doing the same. Even if we do have a splended transfer campaign, juve will start the season his a strong chemistry at the core of the team. Milan needs time and patiance.

Over a season, an injury here and there to their existing line up would give us a chance to at least put up a fight. With their existing lineup and Jovetic as well, it's over. We might be looking at a double digit difference in points between first and second place. Especially if Napoli are going to lose Cavani as well.

Doubt it, even with few injuries (I wouldn't bet on any team to be more injured than us) they are just too far ahead. Look at us, even though it's still early, we are having yet another pathetic transfer window, while Juve, that even without those transfers are much better, already signed two good strikers to their most problematic position. I wouldn't get my hopes up for any real title challenge if I were you.

Apparently their forwards are crap so an injury there won't matter, then they have the likes of Cacares and Pogba to step in a CB and CM if they get injuries there. If w had no injuries all season and they had lots, we might be in th same league as them. Otherwise we're Worlds apart.
