So, as I was saying, we're playing the two top sides in the league, and chances of us getting the minimum amount of points are very high considering the crappy football we play. Inter, on the other hand, are playing Cagliari and Parma, two easy fixtures. So, I don't think we're as safe as you think we are.

Maybe I overstated a bit but still. I don't think we're in that much of a bad situation yet.
It's about weathering this storm of 2 fixtures and then doing what we've been doing best these last few months which is disposing of the bottom to upper-mid-table sides relatively easily.
Se even if we are level on points with them come 2 weeks time I still think we'll finish 3rd

If Atalanta do another Torino...

Thinking ahead to next week for us against Napoli, our strategy should be based on counter attckng them and not letting them do that to us. Because that would be absolute suicide.
They're terrible at the back especially when they're caught out while they're better in attack when they're on the counter and not trying to play through a wall of players. So I say let them have the ball for a little bit and them hit them quickly. We'll lose Balo but I think Pazzo is more suited for that kind of game anyway

You know, we're so lucky that the various Inter, Fiorentina, Roma, Lazio etc. are a bunch of average, inconsistent teams, otherwise we would never be at 3rd place with the kind of shitty football we play.

Paolo Bonolis, famous Italian TV showman and Inter fan, gave an interview to Inter Channel today where he makes heavy accusations about Milan being favored by referees, whilst Inter have been severely damaged in such regard:
QUOTE
The outcome is obvious, there's a script written that foresees Milan in the Champions League, because they've made investments and thus someone out there thinks they should be the ones to qualify for the Champions League. All decisions are taken by keeping this in mind. Only when Inter are out of the game they'll start giving penalties to us. All other teams merely play a supporting role in this huge comedy. We all know who's the killer, who's the winner, and who's the loser.
It's evident that Inter are using his figure as a means of expressing their personal opinion on the matter. These declarations are all over the Italian media, and have evoked huge reactions from all parts. Our club already released an official announcement:
QUOTE
"The declarations of Paolo Bonolis made on Inter Channel and released via their official website, besides lacking any foundations, are of an extraordinary severity".
I gotta say, this must be the lowest point Inter have ever reached since I've been following football.

The truth comes out.

X-Off only started following football after 2007.

I kid, I kid. Anyway, no matter what Inter does they are still not worse than what Juventus does and stands for. If there is one club I really dislike, it's the black and white bustards.

I don't think Inter set up Calciopoli, but they were placed in a favorable position when Guido Rossi was named extraordinary commissary of FIGC. However, I find these accusations absolutely pitiful, ridiculous and outrageous. I would feel extremely ashamed if I was an Inter fan right now.

Hernanes misses penalty for 2-0 and eight minutes later causes a penalty which Totti scores. Talk about bad luck.

Botta: 'Inter's Messi and Di Maria'
By Football Italia staff
Ruben Botta is looking forward to his summer transfer to Inter. “I compare myself with Leo Messi and Angel Di Maria,” explained the midfielder.
The 23-year-old Argentine was wanted by numerous top clubs in Europe, but has agreed a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
“My father Ismael was a player and now works as a Coach, so I started playing when I was very young at San Juan,” the Tigre star told the Corriere dello Sport.
“I started out as a trequartista, because I always liked to ‘create’ something, or I can play as a support striker or out wide. I think I give my best in the final third, as I can unbalance opposition defences with my technique.
“I also consider myself a player who helps out his teammates a lot in winning back the ball. I became accustomed to it here at Tigre, where everyone has to sacrifice themselves for the good of the team.”
Some have compared Botta to PSG talent Ezequiel Lavezzi, but he sees a very different idol.
“Pocho is a great player, but he bases a lot of his game on physicality and pace, whereas I focus on technique and ability. Even when I am being tightly marked, I am not afraid of the one-on-one. The defender doesn’t know what I’m going to do.
“I say this will all due respect, but in terms of style I think I am closer to Messi than Lavezzi. If we were to play together, I could give him so many assists.
“In Argentina many of the journalists say my style is similar to Di Maria and I do think we have a lot of common ground.
“I am ready for Serie A, without doubt. My personality both on and off the field enables me to adapt quickly to new situations.
“I’m coming from a very competitive tournament and one that perhaps has more pressure than the European Leagues. This is why I think I am mature enough to face this new professional experience.
“My objective is to adapt as quickly as possible to what the Coach asks of me and the team.”
