I know that, but Mourinho will play him as CF. There's no other position left for him. I don't think he can take Di Maria's or Ronaldo's spot, unless Mourinho changes his 4-2-3-1 line-up to something else, which I highly doubt.

Did he say that himself?

I feel like Cesc is a mega dream but I've always felt Schweinsteiger was achievable mainly because of how much Berlu has stated a desire for him in the past and would be willing to drop the 30m+ for him.

Boateng--VB--Schwein
Ganso

Now THAT midfield lineup would be very welcome!!!!!

Milan: Kaka ready to return. Schweinsteiger the other objective.

So, according to Sportmediaset, we want Kaka' on loan for a season, with Madrid paying half of his €10 million wage. We'll wait till late August until Perez is convinced and agrees to our conditions. Our other, true objective is Schweinsteiger i.e. Mr. X. who apparently has told his teammates that he'll play in Milan next season. ( rolleyes.gif )

Normally, I would believe this. Sportmediaset is a very reliable source of information. But then I see the name Carlo Pellegatti on top of the article and I digress. The guy is a disaster at calciomercato.

Yep, I agree both about mediaset and Pellegatti. However, I could believe Schweini said something like that. He's ended up in a feud with Robben and some others guys at Bayern.

I still hope for Fabregas, but Schweinsteiger would be good as well. Cesc has more finesse, more creativity.
As for Kaka returning...I hope it's not gonna happen.

Fillipo Simone
I don't think it's a big thing, but it seems that at the moment Bayern is divided into two camps. However, it would me much easier to sell Robben the play with a long term axis of Lahm-Schweini-Müller. But we'll see.

Santos' Neymar denies rumours that he is set to join Real Madrid

Neymar has distanced himself from reports that he is about to sign for Real Madrid, while Santos president Luis Ribeiro added weight to the remarks with claims that he is not ready to let the youngster leave yet.

Quotes from the Ernesto Bronzetti, an agent with close ties to Madrid, indicated today that the striker had already agreed a deal with the Liga outfit. But Bronzetti later stated that he had been misinterpreted by the Italian media.

Upon landing in Montevideo, where Santos will be playing the first leg of the Copa Libertadores final against Penarol, Neymar insisted that he is nowhere near a deal with the Spanish outfit.

"There is nothing [with Real Madrid]. Today, nothing will take me out of Santos," he said.

Meanwhile, Ribeiro denied there is any sort of agreement with the Spanish outfit for the 19-year-old, adding that he is trying to find a way to secure the winger.

"If an offer came, I would send it back. It is funny that such news always comes the day before decisive matches. They must be joking. When it is not Ganso, it is Neymar," the president stated.

"We are talking to several sponsors. We will make as many offers as necessary for Neymar to stay."

Neymar, who has a contract with Santos until 2015, is believed to have a release clause of €45 million.

Marco Borriello “will remain a Roma player,” assured director of sport Walter Sabatini after initially casting doubt over his future.
The transfer guru once again ruled out David Pizarro’s move to Napoli, but had been far more open to losing the ex-Milan striker.

“Perhaps some misunderstanding arose around Marco because someone wanted to liberally interpret my words,” noted Sabatini on Radio Kiss Kiss.

“I consider Borriello to be one of the best strikers in Italy and I’m not the only one who says that. I only said he was a ‘problem for Roma’ because he is a great player and nobody can guarantee anyone a regular spot in this team.

“Borriello is an excellent forward and we are keeping a tight hold of him, then we’ll see what happens when we meet and discuss the situation. That will be over the next few days.

“Have Napoli asked me for Borriello? They could consider it, but I wouldn’t recommend they do, because he is a Roma player and will remain a Roma player.”

Yeah, I got his eternal love thingy. sleepysmiley03.gif What I have a slight trouble understanding is the literal meaning of the phrase: After me there will not be a number 33. Maybe he wants to play till the very (almost) end, and then hang up his shirt so no one else comes and take it, or maybe he wants to be a contemporary club legend of sorts (like Kaka) and make the number famous so not many people wear it.

In case of Kaka, though, that sucker Borriello took the #22 the very next day the Brazilian left. sad.gif Regardless, nice to see Thiago enjoying his time here, hope he keeps this level of performance up, and get this level of fame/respect worldwide. Come to think of it, I, for all intents and purposes, never saw him put a foot wrong this season, or make a mistake. His last defensive error that I remember was giving Menez the goal when we played Roma in the 2009/10 season.

i think he meant when he's done for milan the number 33 will be retired just like the number 3 is retired for paolo and the number 6 is retired for franco. smile.gif

so he's predicting he will be a great for the club by the time he hangs up the boots smile.gif

Oddo at Milan’s disposal

QUOTE
Massimo Oddo says he would be willing to leave Milan this summer, but nobody has come forward for his signature.

“I have a contract with Milan and I’m just focusing on being ready for pre-season,” the 35-year-old noted.

“However, if the club told me that I was no longer needed then I would consider some other options.

“Nevertheless, up until now, I haven’t heard from anybody. I have a year left on my contract and I will just respect that.”

The right-back, who won the 2006 World Cup with Italy, was rarely used last season after making just seven League appearances for a total of 433 minutes.

“I always look to be at the disposal of the Coach,” he added. “I would have liked to have played more, but I was always ready when called upon.”

Nocerino will stay, say Palermo

QUOTE
Palermo are confident that Antonio Nocerino will sign a contract extension at the club before the start of the season.

The Italian midfielder’s current deal expires in 2012 which has seen him linked with a summer move.

“I believe that Nocerino will remain in Rosanero and I think he’ll sign a new contract,” sporting director Sean Sogliano told TMW.

“There will certainly be a conversation about it. I don’t think that a player like him can remain at a club with his contract running into its last year.”

Nocerino, who is now a part of the national set-up, has admirers in the shape of Milan and Napoli.

If no extension agreement can be reached, Palermo are likely to sell rather than risk losing him for nothing on a Bosman next summer.

According to reports from the peninsula, Genoa have bought our talented youngster Alexander Merkel. We still own 50% of Merkel, but he will be playing for Genoa next season.

Galliani: "I wasn't surprised when I heard that Barcelona are interested in Silva. He's the best defender in the world, so it's normal that the best team in the world wants to sign him. I saw all of this coming. That's why I renewed Silva's contract to 2016."

Galliani: "There will be a single purchase & it will be in late August."

Galliani: ( On El Shaaraway): "I'm glad he's a fan of AC Milan. We'll see if there is a future move possible."

Galliani: " Kakà won't return to Milan. 100%. Not even on loan, because the problem is also his salary."

Galliani: "Roma will definitely buy out Borriello".

Galliani: "I won't travel to Brazil to see Ganso in the Libertadores-final, because he won't be playing anyway."

Yeah we have a few posters who commonly post about it, NFL gets a lot of love when it's actually the season, NBA/NHL more so in the play-offs but it's been quite dominant to the NBA side of things. Keeps the discussions varied I guess, to a point!

I'd personally put it at 0%, in all probability. Just like how the Klose rumor turned out. wink.gif I don't think Milan has (or wants to have) anything to do with him at this point in time. We have a youngster or two coming up, Inzaghi is still here, and frankly, Drogba is just not the player he was a couple of years back (trust me, I have seen more than my fair share of Chelsea matches this season).

I personally think Cesc is the guy Riola is working on. Ganso is what the club is working on. And that's that.

Oh and btw , all of rumors and news I've posted (which had twitter as source), got posted by sites like MN or TMW. I think that's a good way of getting information. AC Milan have captured Genoa playmaker Stephan El Shaarawy on a €6 million joint ownership deal.

Sky Sport Italia claims Milan CEO Adriano Galliani, and Genoa president Enrico Preziosi struck the accord on Tuesday.

El Shaarawy recently revealed he dreamed of joining Milan and is now said to be speaking with the Serie A champions to finalise his contract

He was on loan at Padova last term, but will be expected to link up with the San Siro outfit once the deal is complete.

It will be the club's third transfer of the summer following moves for Philippe Mexes, and Taye Taiwo.

Earlier, it was reported that Genoa signed 19-year-old midfielder Alexander Merkel in a similar deal.
