Only a handful of managers have won the CL, and Mourinho's one of them. And with Porto, no less.
Whether that's worthy of legend, is up to you.

Mourinho should be a spin doctor instead of football coach. He's a good coach, but he's much better at hyping his own person.

CL 1/4 have just been held:
Lyon - Bordeaux
Bayern - ManU
Arsenal - Barca
Inter - ZSKA Moskow
Interesting clashes. Arsenal vs Barca and Bayern vs. ManU should be great in particular. Can't see Bayern beating ManU with their crappy defense though.

Very good draw.
I'm glad we're not in it to be honest, it's about time we actually took notice of Serie A.

Fvck, we managed to get the worst opponent possible (karma from drawing Villareal last year, possibly?).
Still, we usually do quite well at away games in the CL, so here's hoping we can do so this time as well.

The Draw:
A - O.Lyon vs. Bordeaux (Sensing some conspiracy here)
B - Bayern Munich vs. Manchester Utd
C - Arsenal vs. Barcelona (2006 rematch)
D - Inter Milan vs. CSKA Moscow (Bastards!)
Home Fixtures are on the 30 & 31 of March
Away Fixtures are on the 6 & 7 of April
Semi Finals will be:
Winner of A & B
Winner of C & D
I can see United in the Final. And Mourinho will have a mountain to climb before he reaches the Final. Let's see how Special he really is

The first leg bayern must be 70 % concentrated on defence and try not to give away even the slightest of sniffs to the united attack which will be immensly difficult id settle for a 0-0 or a 1-0 in bayerns favor just as long as united dont get the away goal then at OT they need a mourinho type formula balancing attack and defence cause the away goal will be crucial but concede tonight an it becomes an uphill struggle

I'm almost certain Utd will go through, Bayern's defense is nearly as bad as Milan's.

Actually, it's worse. They have two decent defenders in Badstuber and Lahm. And of those two only Lahm has the experience it takes to fance ManUnited. And without Robben they won't stand a chance anyway.

There are a few really good Man U fans. People who know the team inside out. Of course it's the other lot who're plain annoying.
I'd like to see Man U out for the sole reason that it would make the EPL interesting. As for the 4 teams in CL, well whatever happens this season, won't affect the placing next season. So next season I'm cool with 4 Italian teams making it to the quarters.

Ivica Olic guys! Every football fan has to love this guy. Even though he plays for Bayern. His determination, his will, all the kilometers he's running, the fact that he never gives up. Wow! His winner was one of the most amazing goals I've seen recently. Not because it was a proof of enormous talent, but a proof of enormous determination. The situation was already taken under control by Evra and then this Croatian came out of nowhere stole the ball...and then this AAA-finish. In a way this guy is even better than Messi. He's just like an attacking Gattuso. We should so sign him!

Mar 31 2010, 10:43 AM
Is this... are you happy with Bayern winning?
Well Olic had been mediocre in the rest of the match though. I loved his finish. Ribery and Scholes the best for each team in my view. Rooney can't stop putting the ball in the back of the net... in either end... I bet SAF is more worried about him than the result.
United are the most Italian team outside of Italy I've ever seen. They only lost because they underestimated Bayern in my view and sat there watching in a passive role.
The French tie was entertaining too. The result was very unfair though, Bordeaux deserved to equalize, not to concede another. And what a cheap penalty that was! I wish they'd change the rule, that's certainly not deserving of a penalty. it should be a free-kick inside the area.

I simply have a soft spot for Olic. I've always admired players of his kind. The ones who are not really talented but work hard to make it to the top.
About SAF. I think he made a major mistake when he subbed Carrick and Park. He destabilized ManUs midfield and brought Bayern back.

I think Carrick was missed, he was picking up many balls and had a quiet but great game until that point.
I know what you say about Olic but he was making me mad with his decisions all game. His goal was fantastic though, he came out of nowhere, it looked like a 5-a-side type of goal.
On another note, that guy Trémoulinas at LB for Bordeaux looked good last night at least on the pushing forward department.

Ivica Olic shouldn't be a professional footballer. There, I said it. His ability on the ball is pretty embarassing and he (like Gattuso) relies on people hoping they're impressed by him running around like a headless chicken. That said, I do actually like him.. even more after last night.

Mario Balotelli Is Bitter - Agent Mino Raiola
The representative of 'Super Mario' has shed some light on the situation...
Inter starlet Mario Balotelli's exclusion from the Inter team is set to continue after he was left out of the squad to face CSKA Moscow in the Champions League tonight.
The player appeared on the TV programme Chiambretti Night and said that he was 'not stupid or sorry' for his actions that have seen him become a fixture on the sidelines, rather than on the pitch, over the last few matches.
Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, has asked the press once again to let the situation be and explained his client is upset at being left out from key matches.
"Balotelli will soon change his phone number," he said, according to tuttomercatoweb.
"It must be understood that he is bitter. Around him people should stay silent."
Yesterday, in a press conference, Mourinho declined to comment on the Italy Under-21 international.
"It's good that Mourinho doesn't speak [about it], the same with his team-mates," continued Raiola.
"His apology? For wearing the Milan shirt there is not a problem, the real problem lies elsewhere and we all know it."

Wow. Just wow. Arsenal barely got the ball out of their own half.
Guardiola should push Messi out to the right where he usually plays, Clichy is a pretty average defender and is struggling enough as it is. The only way Arsenal are stopping them is by kicking the Barca players down whenever possible (the irony) and Cesc picked up a silly yellow card for a foul from behind and will miss the game at the Camp Nou.

Arsenal fans sinigng "we've got Cesc Fabregas" as if Barca care.
