QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Apr 21 2010, 02:43 AM)

You forgot to mention that you'd probably need 2 hands for the amount of penalties Chelsea should have been given.
All but one of the penalty incidents happened after they were left with 10 men... overall, looking at both legs, I think Barca were definitely favored but nowhere near as much as people claim.
QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Apr 21 2010, 02:43 AM)

You also forgot to mention the goal Inter should probably have had early on. Keita fell over and Eto'o went through, a simple ball to Milito and it would have been 1-0. But the ref gave a free kick!
What has this game have to do with last season's one? inert are the last that should be complaining anyway, it was a clear penalty and a red card for them that was not given in the first game against Chelsea.
QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Apr 21 2010, 04:36 AM)

Yup, it's true! But of course it's nothing compared to anything Mou has done. Pep has the team, Mou IS the team. Mou is everything.

I like him but "his fans" needed to see this. it was a matter of time before they came out and said he was even better than God.
I hope Xavi fans would see he flopped last night too. Not less than Messi.

I'm not a Xavi fan but I'm gonna answer this.
1. Xavi was the architect behind most of Barca's plays. he rarely lost the ball or misplaced a pass. "flopped not less than Messi"? really? cause Messi didn't flop; he was invisible. he took his first shot on goal in the 2nd half and was stripped of the ball, like, 6-7 times out of 10.
2. Xavi isn't labeled "best in history". I know Messi probably doesn't believes in that anyway. that's why I said "his fans needed to see this".
3. Xavi has already proven himself in a big international tournament!

I think Xavi and Iniesta are both underrated (then again, in 2006, so was Pirlo).
So...zeddie, Rosetti just gave Ribery a straight red. Thoughts?

Ha! I knew it. I was really looking to see Cissokho tonight coz I wanted to see how he goes up against some real players.
Everyone loves to harp on about fullbacks who are so great offensively and can cross and shite. I hope Maicon owning Alves and Cissokho's horror show can teach a few that fullbacks are part of the defence line.

In my opinion Lyon is favorite for next game. Without Ribery and with thoose impotent strikers, Bayern will never score, they can just hope not to concede a goal.

I was wondering why does Olic always have the head start over Mario Gomez, and he is somewhat average.
Fishdoll
Apr 26 2010, 09:47 PM
Because Olic's workrate is about 10X that of Gomez. Olic runs like a madman the entire time he's on the pitch, chasing after balls, etc. Gomez is very good but from what I've seen, can be a bit of a whiner.

I'm on an incredible wrong streak of late.
Wayne Rooney will never be part of a World Cup winning team. It's worth a shot.

As for Olic, I don't care about Croatia anymore. Bitterness lasts as long as it takes to get revenge and by dumping them out of the World Cup, we got our revenge. Olic, Petric, Kranjcar, etc.. I don't mind them.
I really want Inter to win it now to be honest, so long as Materazzi gets his medal.

Zlatan off for Bojan.
I think Pep still has a bit to learn. They aren't beating Inter with football, even with a man up, so they should try and get balls into the box. It's hard enough as it is with the ariel ability of Inters CBs, but taking off your only big man makes it much harder.
