Man. I go to a brief meeting and 3 goals are scored? Wow.
For those watching the game: whose fault (if any) were the Merda goals? In other words, is it the keeper's fault? This is only Akinfeev's second competitive game since March so I dunno how match fit he is.
No chance on both goals.

I was watching the United game ... man, this Dynamo team looks nothing like that of 98', 97' ... So weak
Sporting vs Roma ... Roma have to win this one, but you gotta keep an eye on that Moutinho fella, he is showing great promise ( @Porty .. What u think about him ?? )

Sporting 2-1 Roma. Liedson does it again.
Moutinho and Veloso are 2 great and young CM from Sporting.

Totti has an owie on his ankle (still).
Porty would know better than I, but I think Moutinho has the potential to be VERY good in future. The only worry I have is his height. Both these guys have been mentioned intermittently as possible transfer targets to various English and Italian clubs, btw. (Veloso plays more of a Pirlo role while Moutinho is more of a classic #10).

Veloso can play as DMC, bit like Pirlo like you said
OR the CB place.
Moutinho it's a bit different. In fact, he can play in every position in the CM, ofensive or defensive. And it's consistent. Very consistent for his age.

That WAS a lovely goal from Ibrahimovic.
Journalists apparently compared him to Van Basten post-game. His response:
Un gol alla van Basten? “Lui faceva più gol di me e più belli”.
[He scored more, and more beautiful goals than me.]
linkCredit to Zlatan for a lovely goal and a nice quote.

van Basten, no Zlatan is surely not as good as he used to be. Marco is the most complete forward I've ever seen! But I fear of what Ibra can become like in 2 or 3 years!

I don't usually read the gossipy Italian papers, but I did today and there's one piece that vaguely amuses me.
Apparently yesterday during the Sporting-Roma game, the Sporting fans showed that they know at least SOME Italian. There was, it seems, a loud chant of 'Roma, Roma, vafancullo' at the Alvalade last night.

But I fear of what Ibra can become like in 2 or 3 years!Capello used to show Zlatan clips of Van Basten at his usual best, and kept telling Zlatan that you can one day be as great as him. Though I hate to say this, it is shockingly becoming a true nightmare!

How does the tiebreaker in group stages work... are they first based on head to head record?
If they are, then if Celtic beat Shaktar does that mean Milan are automatically qualified?
