Somehow I do think De Rossi wanted to miss that penalty.

And I always liked De Rossi as a player but that penalty... the way he shoots it's clear he wanted to miss it.

Just my opinion. Against Madrid they fought like lions, against United they showed why they're a f useless team/club that no one cares.

Damn, United have become a big team, no doubt about that! They were great tonight and I think they were not even playing at 100%... you could feel they would kill the game at whatever time they felt like it! I'm sorry Kurt but in my view they are the clear best team in Europe right now...

And that's why I said last night that I don't think CR is the undisputed best in Europe... look at how many chances United created in the first half and how easily they made it seem. CR is playing in a great team while Liverpool can do nothing without Torres, he truly takes them to the next level! In my view, they are both amazing this season and the winner should take the Ballon d'Or home...

edit: Giggs was extraordinary tonight!! AMAZING performance! The game's best in my view, United's game really depends on him a lot. And he was everywhere tonight.

Also, Hargreaves was good (of course he had no real opponent on the left flank but...) and from Roma Juan had a great game.


Funny pic! Yeah Messi is also taking Barcelona a bunch of levels up... they are much more dangerous when he plays! When he is there they attack much better thus a whole lotta pressure is taken off their shitty defence. Of course if Barcelona play at their full potential they are not worse than United but they've never showed their very best this season and I doubt they will do it now... Like I said, I think United are a big team and not just a good team in form so I don't think it's a matter of class. Both can play great the difference is United do play great right now.

I want the final to be either Chelsea vs Barcelona or Liverpool vs United. I'd prefer the first as that would mean it won't go to the Scousers no matter what plus the hype around United would go down a bit (even if I think they are the best, I can't stand to hear constant bullshitting). But if Liverpool make it, United are the only team that can stop them. I don't care who wins it as long as it's not the Merseysiders.

Roma are not a big team. They can produce some good football at times and they can play some good games but they are not big. They are too unstable and don't have a killer instinct to be considered as such. And without Totti they are half as good. The need more quality and they also need a couple of high class forwards... they also need to bench or get rid of Mancini, that guy is so useless against any team above average! I never liked them as a club but hey, they kicked Madrid out so... grazie Roma!

I agree with you unfortunately and I'd rather them win the CL than Barca, and in a few ways I'd rather United win it than Chelsea. I still hate them as a club, but they have some truly great individuals. It amazes me how Giggs can still play the way he does, he just gets better with age!

Essien was suspended, Lampard didn't train this week at all (his mother is sick) and had one of his worst games ever, Drogba barely past the fitness test before the game (problems with his knee) and it showed that he wasn't completely fit. Balack was in doubt too. So the important thing was the result even if they didn't deserved it.
