For him to move next season, Inter needs to drop some player in order to free a non-EU spot.

Weird situation this one with Carvalho... maybe Inter let him sign another deal instead of loaning him to another Italian club!??

Juve sign Swedish starlet
Friday 14 December, 2007

Juventus have agreed a deal with IF Brommapojkarna for young Swedish midfielder Albin Ekdal.

The Under-18 international is seen as one of Scandinavian football’s brightest prospects and was previously a target for Inter.

Ekdal had a trial with Chelsea in 2005 at the age of 15, but he turned down a contract with the Stamford Bridge side to continue his development in Sweden.

It is reported that the Old Lady will pay £700,000 and that Ekdal will immediately be sent out on loan when he arrives in June.

“A few details remain to be cleared up, but Albin will stay with us until next spring to graduate,” Brommapojkarna director Ola Danhard stated.

“We are proud of him and happy that he has an opportunity to play for one of Europe’s biggest clubs.”

So this is the so-called "new Ibra"!?? Well I hope he's more handsome than the real one and gets along better with Nesta...

Mitja Novinic. 16 year old striker, apparently. We got him from NK Nafta Lendava for an undisclosed fee.

Catania beat Udinese 2-0 courtesy of a Mascara brace. Shock result, but it should help us somewhat in gaining 4th place

If we can win the 3 games we are behind in, then we can close the gap down. We are on 18 after 13 played Udine are at 28 after 16 played. Fiorentina are on 24 after 25, so we can close the gap down considerably
Darunia
Yay tongue.gif

good that Udinese and Fiorentina are dropping points lately, but we gotta start winning in 08.
Tennie
I'm hopeful for one last Serie A win in December.

The Dec. 23 game at the San Siro is technically an away game. It's Merda - Milan. We've done pretty well with away games. smile.gif

Damn, i forgot that match. Needless to say its a must win, or minimum, not loose
Tennie
It's Lazio 1 - 1 Juve at halftime. Very entertaining and very equal match so far. I'm pleased to see Lazio doing well after their dreadful run of recent form.

Pavel Nedved ran into Lazio's Kolarov and split his forehead open. Blood everywhere, etc. Had a couple of emergency stitches put in and went back out onto the pitch. (Rumor has it he may return to the Czech NT for Euro 2008).

EDIT: Nedved subbed at the half for Tiago. And the Zebras took the lead in the 48th with a Del Piero goal.
Rossoneri7
Cool away shirt !!

EDIT: Trezegol almost got the 3rd !!

Zanetti is the man of the match IMO ...
Darunia
Over 3-2.

I watched the second half... great end-to-end stuff, some amazing buffon saves. Lazio deserved a little better probably but Juve played well on the counter.

inter will win today ... and they are firm favorites for the scudetto.

It seems as if this team, that has always had a deep bench and real talented players, along with a president who isn't shy in spending over 20M/season just for the hell off it, have started to know how to win games !!!

I mean, 2 or so years ago ... who was inter ?! rolleyes.gif at best, they would be ranked #3 in Serie A and that was about it, maybe the coppa from time to time.

But the season isn't over .. Roma and Juventus are not very far off. This could very well be the last chance inter have for the scudetto.

Cuz next season, inter wont be the top dogs anymore ... I think Juventus or Milan will go for the scudetto .. Been too long since the good ol' days sad.gif

mm oh yeah, what's the inevitable tongue.gif

So r u telling me they signed a deal with the devil wink.gif

Nah, I don't think they'll last that long. They always had a great team ALWAYS. Never once where they lacking in depth or quality/quantity. But, it is just that their team had found the way to winning matches. That is the ONLY difference from past years.

IMO .. this is their last season .. I don't think the likes of Milan or Juventus will let this go on any further.

In Milan's case ... This is a special season, we won two trophies up till now the SC and CWC ... Inshallah the CL is next in line. Then Maldini will hang up his boots and it is a new cycle, so .. 4 yrs ?! nah cool.gif
