I'm personally rooting for Roma. I've always liked them, I'd prefer them to take the title than Inter as well!

Good to see Roma get it, I thought it was just not their day after the earlier chance. Good week for Panucci, for club and country.

It's a good job Roma got that later winner! Inter may have started to pull away, especially when we beat Juve next week!

ya thats what happens when you have so little offensive threats on the field, it gives them confidence and allows them to build from that. anyways we'll see

Serie A is an easy task for Inter.

Just like Moggi said some weeks ago: they'll dominate the league for the next 4 years.

We need big and deep changes. Juve need time. Inter need... maybe a #10 and a guy to sub Figo for next year. But even without that they're by far the best squad in Italy.
misha
Roma (and definitely Juve) can't stop Inter. For this year, it's hopeless.

Roma or Juve can't stop them ?! I guess we'll have to show them how it's done wink.gif 23 Dec cool.gif

Juve plays later today @ Palermo.

Table is a little weird after last week's postponements.. but right now Milan is 5 points behind Juve and 7 behind Fiorentina with a game in hand.

Next week's game will be huge biggrin.gif

Derby games is the only interesting thing left in Serie A for us. Milan can always win in a derby (no matter what condition we are in).

Juve 1-0 Palermo - Trezeguet.

EDIT: 2-0, Iaquinta.

Juventus 5-0. rolleyes.gif

A third of the way through the season, still no home win. Not good enough.

Inter are three points away from their nearest rivals, with a game in hand on one of them. Roma's home record isn't good enough. I think Inter will be one Scudetto closer to Milans total.

is it hard for you to accept the fact that inter are better than us, even if we do manage to beat them. anyways that doesnt even matter cuz being ignorant isnt going to change the facts. all of us we'll be cheering milan but we arent going to be parading around predicting a milan win when were clearly the underdogs, show some modesty if not dont question porty being a milan fan.

wow, after yesterday's result against Palermo
It's gonna be tough for Milan to beat Juventus ... I fear Trezeguet

Palermo sack Colantuono

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has sacked Coach Stefano Colantuono and called in Francesco Guidolin for a fourth spell.

The Sicilians were hammered 5-0 by Juventus last night to leave them in equal sixth after an inconsistent campaign.

Colantuono arrived from Atalanta in pre-season, but he has struggled to make his mark and been publicly criticised by Zamparini.

“The club wants to communicate that we have taken control of the side away from Stefano Colantuono,” a statement reads on the club website.

“We want to thank Colantuono for all his work and the post will be given to Francesco Guidolin.”

There seems to be no bad blood between the departing boss and the directors as Colantuono made a conciliatory statement on Radio Radio.

“I don’t want to cause controversy – these things happen in football,” he stressed.

“I want to thank the club for the opportunity and I’m leaving the side in sixth place.”

Guidolin arrives again having already taken charge of the side on three occasions.

The ex-Monaco man only left the post at the end of last term and reportedly refused the Queens Park Rangers job just over a month ago.

Colantuono is the fifth Coach to receive his marching orders following Marco Giampaolo, Andrea Mandorlini, Massimo Ficcadenti and Fernando Orsi.

And here we go again ... If I was Guidolin, I'd hang up the phone on him rolleyes.gif

Palermo are real bad this season, you can't take anything out of that game. But Juventus are good and it's gonna be hard for us to win. I think we can take them though...

ya juve like to press and take the game to their opponents (they did it against inter for the first half) and they'll do it against us. for that reason i think it will suite us.
