This is a very interesting discussion here,..
Y'all are right, if only partialy at least.
First of all - Calciopoli happened. Calciopoli is something very real, very present, and very influential. We have to accept that fact.
Calciopoli shifted the powers in Serie A. Inter turned by night from a
born to lose team to a winning champion
team. Key players? Zlatan Ibrahimović, Patrick Vieira,..Juve players who joined Inter after the scandal was revealed. Inter without Zlatan? Niente,..So we are right when we say
QUOTE
right now Inter are the best team in Italy, no doubt
. But we are not Inter fans, so we also have the right to say, yes they are the best, under very lucky, extraordinary and sometimes even suspicious circumstances.
Calciopoli is like the Superga tragedy back in the 40ties. Or some other scandals, like the Milan and Lazio ones back before Silvio's era. How could Juventus turn into a winning team in 1949-50? It were the same lucky, extraordinary and sometimes even suspicious circumstances - one year ago, half of the Grande Torino team was killed in a airplain crash. After that, Torino never came back (except once in the 70'ies, someone knows the exact year?), while Juve and Inter secured domination.
So, I do accept the reality and know Inter are best now, but I also know
why they are best. So you won't be hearing this
Inter dominates Serie A stuff from me.
Under such circumstances the Serie A quality dropped.

that's why mid/low-table clubs could not make significant transfers and that's why Milan and Juve always managed to get the best players from them easily.
- and this really looks to be the reason. Parma, Lazio, Fiorentina - they cannot hold up with Inter and Roma, the Totti Roma. Milan lost interest in Serie A, which is another discussion, but for me, it is quite reasonable. But Milan will be back, the fans egg on Silvio and the management, and it will pay out.
