Really bad news. Now it's Juventus we must catch up IMO. We have one direct clash in our hand and we should hope they'll loose against someone poor. This is very bad. If we finish 5th, it really will be a disaster.

I hope Arsenal do us a favor and kick us out of the CL on Tuesday! we just can't go on in both competitions.

Tricky matches still to play:
Milan: Udinese, Napoli, Inter, Juventus, Sampdoria, Roma
Juventus: Inter, Napoli, Palermo, Sampdoria, (Lazio), Milan
Fiorentina: Napoli, (Lazio), Udinese, Inter, Palermo, Sampdoria
It's clear that we have by far harder opponents to come. Both Juve and Fiorentina played against Roma. Inter could be a special-point match for all three teams. Crucial will be the Juve-Milan match, and the games against Roma and Sampdoria for us. If we get the 6 points, we're on top. But, it really looks bad.

Not exactly. We won against them. We desereve the CL spot, for the sake of football at least. If Fiora ends up 4th, they'll have a next season debacle just like Udinese and Lazio had+they won't make it to the second stage. With Milan it's different. CL without Milan 's like chicken without wings

Roberto Donadoni's job of squad selection just got a little less complicated. Today during the Samp-Torino game (which ended in a 2-2 draw), Cassano was sent off for yellow card accumulation. And, well, he had a tantrum of epic proportions, making all sorts of statements about the ref. They finally got him off the pitch and into the dressing rooms, but he came back to the touchline and yelled out something more or less equivalent to 'see you in the parking lot after the game' to the ref. Now once the game DID actually end, he came out and apologived profusely to everyone, but....

Also, is someone actually watching Napoli-Merda? I'm following text commentary (and watching a not-altogether-boring) Cagliari-Genoa game. The text said something about Chivu having to be subbed because of some sort of shoulder issue. Anyone know what happened? If he's hurt, they're really down to bare bones for defenders.

They won on a 3rd minute goal from Zalayeta (former Juve player). Whole bunch of cards on both sides, Julio Cesar saved a penalty, etc etc.
The referee was Nicola Rizzoli, the guy who got all the praise for his handling of Juve-Torino last weekend.

Edit: I dislike the way Ranieri plays Palladino, he isnt using him to his full potential. He has him on the damn flanks, he needs to be in a SS/Trequartista or maybe even CF position

Refs Hurt Inter Too - Moratti
Inter president Massimo Moratti hit back at the critics who have accused his team of being favoured by referees during this current season...
On Sunday the Nerazzurri lost their first Serie A game in almost a year as they were defeated by the Partenopei at the San Paolo stadium.
Moratti admitted that things have not been going too smoothly lately.
"Lately we had games which were not as easy as the ones we had before, and this can makes us think about a form crisis," explained the Inter patron.
"It can also be that the team is expressing itself a bit less well right now," he added. "There are also justifications, but not enough not to think that we can recover without any problem."
With regards to the penalty awarded to Napoli, Moratti's comment was short but straight to the point.
"Referees make mistakes with Inter, too," concluded Moratti.
His remark was clearly in response to the season-long speculation that Inter have benefitted from an array of refereeing decisions.
As recently as this week, former Juventus director Luciano Moggi declared that Roma had suffered at the hands of a pro-Inter refereeing decision.
However, Inter director of sports Marco Branca hit back at such claims, stating that it was merely an exercise in excuse-seeking.
Glenn Debattista
Yeah refs hurt Inter too. When they can no longer be hurt...

Ferrari heads for Florence
Tuesday 4 March, 2008
Roma contract rebel Matteo Ferrari has been linked with a move to Fiorentina as a replacement for Tomas Ujfalusi, who has also refused to renew his current deal.
Transfer market guru Ernesto Bronzetti, who mainly deals with Milan, made the revelation in an interview with Radio Radio TV.
“Ferrari (pictured) will go to Fiorentina. He will take the place of Czech international Ujfalusi, who is off to Atlético Madrid,†insisted Bronzetti.
The ex-Everton centre-back has played 20 times for La Magica this season and is a player in demand, with both Milan and Juventus vying for his signature after he revealed that there was no chance of a renewal.
However, the prospect of hooking up with Cesare Prandelli, his former Coach at Parma, at the Artemio Franchi could sway the Italian-Algerian defender's decision.
Ujfalusi was close to signing for Liverpool earlier this year and there has also been interest from Roma after the Viola vice-captain surprised Fiorentina fans by expressing his wish to leave the club.

When he plays, his team wins 95% of the times. He has some assists as well.
And we can say the same about Kaka'. He scored 8 goals in Serie A, half of that were penalties.
The difference is that Ibrahimovic is having a stunning season, and Kaka' a shitty one.
