Interesting postscript to the Turin derby: the Italian press (Gazzetta, Cotnrocampo, etc) are unanimous in their man of the match choice: they all picked referee Nicola Rizzoli. The coaches of the teams also made a point of praising him. Quite a turnaround, this, from the recent and detailed complaining of refereeing.

This is the month for knee injuries to Serie A strikers, it would seem. There's an article on Controcampo quoting
Ibrahimovic as saying he's got damage to a tendon in his left knee and that (I think I've got it right) the tear (?) is as big as a 2-euro coin. He's not expected to play against Roma but hopes to be back for the CL game v. Liverpool.

Are you sure you've got it right? unbelievable!

There are more kangaroos than people in Oz.

Catania-Milan
Fiorentina-Livorno
Inter-Roma
They broadcast the Inter match today. I'll try to get a stream for Milan or so.
Any predictions for tonight Inter-Roma? I think that if Roma don't do it tonight... nobody will beat Inter this season.
Another thing:
Some days ago Moratti stated that they won't buy next Summer. Inter will 'invest' in their youth.
Translating this... means Moratti is preparing a big transfer. Quaresma, Aquilani, Cassano, Ronaldinho, Aguero are some of the names...
Tennie
Feb 27 2008, 05:44 PM
I'd sure like to see Roma win this one. Whether they can...I just don't know. They seem to have a little more momentum (win v. Real, win v. Fiorentina) than the Merda do (loss v. Scousers, draw v. Samp), but that doesn't necessarily mean much.
As for the Merda transfer, I'll play it safe and pick the Argie: Aguerro. That said even though the team need a playmaker type more than yet another striker.

He played some matches. Even the last one. But he's nothing special.
Sporting is doing "a Milan" this season. In 4th place in the league and 17 points behind the leader.
