A NEW GOLDEN BALLMILAN - The list of Kaka's competitors has increased. The 52nd Golden Ball award will in fact award the best player in the world without any distinction of the nationality and league. So far the trophy took into consideration the European leagues. Also the list of the judges increases from 53 to 96. The announcement arrives directly from the France Football website which will be out tomorrow to celebrate its first 60 years of life.

In the past only european players could have won it. But since, they changed the rules so players from countries outside europe can win it too (like R10 who won it before).

Okay, it's an Italian paper quoting As, so the reliability is suspect, but....
[According to As, Kaka is the strong favorite for the golden ball this year. But organizers have let it slips that they're going to assign a 'second golden ball' to Paolo Maldini for lifetime achievement.]

"Today I reached the target of 200 official matches, a great thing, and I also managed to score and celebrate the event, I'm happy, but not so much about the match.
I won't leave Milan, they would have to send me away!
We didn't say anything afterwards in the dressing room, the team are a bit angry and nervous, tomorrow the Coach will talk to us because it's been a while that we haven't won and we have to find a solution to win.
It's a delicate moment, we have to take some decisions calmly, there will be said many untrue things, but we know how to handle that.
I did not see the penalty, I don't know whether Kaladze touched the ball. I prefer to watch the move again calmly on TV. In any case it's a difficult moment and we have to be able to turn things around in our favour.
Milan arrive to the match on Wednesday angry with a lot of will to improve, but we want to do well in the league too. Certainly the Champions League is different, in Glasgow they will give us more space, but if we win it will be better for our morale."

Did u know he was a sprinter before playing football ?!
It's true, the way he runs (on his toes) is a sign of a true sprinter ... Wenger also claimed that had Henry not taken football as a profession, he would be one of the best sprinters out there.
He is truly a one in a million!

Kaka Shocks Milan: I Would Like To Play In Spain
The Milan forward declared that a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona attracts him and that in the future it can become a possibility.
For Milan fans this is not an easy moment. After watching their side slide down the Serie A standings to 7 points behind Inter and suffering a disappointing defeat against Celtic in the Champions League, the Rossoneri supporters now have to face the possibility of seeing Riccardo Kaka leaving their club for a Spanish side.
This was revealed by the same player to the website of the Spanish daily newspaper 'El Pais', where the Brazilian player re-opened the doors for a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona after closing them in the past summer.
When asked which Spanish club he would prefer to play in, the Brazilian replied without any problem.
"I already play for a great club like Milan, but one day I would like to play in a great team in Spain, like Real Madrid or Barcelona," he replied.
"The transfer market rumours are things which the press reports, it has always been like this. However, for a player, knowing that a club, or two or even three, are interested in him is a satisfaction."
These words are surely arrived in the worse possible moment for Milan and stir new speculation on an eventual and possible transfer of Kaka to Spain at the end of this season.
Why should I belive in this?
Has he signed that contract with us yet, for god sake!?

that was not rumors :
http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/SerieA/Squad...e/04/kaka.shtmlusually i didnt read rumors from Gazzetta , that was my reason
There are many reasons why he could have said this but in any case, I do not worry... I only care about what actually is... He is a Milan player right now and as long as Milan keep their place among Europe's elite and Berlusconi wants him I don't see him leaving.
I'm tired of these rumors already, what's come will come!

Kaka Interested By England Prospect
AC Milan star Kaka insists he is happy at the club, but says if he was ever to leave, England could be his preferred destination.
The Brazilian superstar, recently named FIFPro World Player of the Year, insists he is happy at Milan, with the situation unlikely to change.
But Kaka, one of the most coveted talents in world football has revealed that if he were ever to leave, Arsenal and Manchester United would appeal in particular.
"I'm very happy at Milan - and I don't expect that situation to change," the 25-year-old told Esquire magazine.
"But if you want to talk hypothetically, if I were ever to leave it would have to be for a club of equal stature - and I think I would only find that in England or Spain.
"Manchester United are a wonderful side, I like Arsenal too.
"As for Chelsea and Liverpool, they are more tactically-oriented; they base themselves on solidity and organisation. They are maybe less creative, but they have good managers. I especially admire (Rafa) Benitez."
Yeak, yeah,..tomorrow it will be: if he ever leaves, Estonia could be his preferred destination..

Yeah, yeah.... We'll be getting this all season long. When you have the world's best player, and the player that everyone wants; they will write stories saying how he is interested in this place and that trying to get the fans to listen or read their articles in hope that maybe it would be more than just an article and that it may come true.
FINAL STATEMENT: KAKA IS CONTRACTED TILL 2011 END OF STORY. HE WILL NOT BE LEAVING BEFORE THAT UNLESS IT IS FOR 100 MILLION EUROS+ AND ONLY ONE CLUB CAN PAY THAT AND THAT IS RM. So please lets not pay heed to this non sense. kaka in arsenal, what a joke.
