I wasn't thrilled with him at all, but nowadays, we need him and he'd be an upgrade.
I would rather we focus on new young players, Kaka is a definite improvement to whatever we have nonetheless

To be fair you could look at everyone who's left, hell, even retired from Milan in the last 20+ years and to this day they'd be an improvement on what we have now.

Good to see we've moved on here and aren't at all living in the past.
Though as I said in this thread he's still an improvement, just he isn't the guy who ran rings around everyone in 06/07.

Sep 2 2013, 08:27 AM
Of course he isn't, but we are a mess anyway and it's either him or nothing at this point. Plus, I think he'll be a good mentor to Saponara and in January we'll get Honda who should help us too.

I don't want to brag, but I knew that both with Kaka and Silva I'd be moving this thread back from past players.
Kaka done. Now waiting for Silva.

“I’m returning home,” the 31-year-old told Sky Sport Italia after spending six years with the outfit earlier in his career.
“I’m very happy and we have a great team. I want to feel certain emotions again and I can’t wait to play at San Siro…
“I will have the No 22 jersey.”
This gave me goosebumps ... Finally someone on this squad I can relate to

I'm almost certain someone had 22 & someone had Gattuso's number as well.
Either way it doesn't matter that much; trivial matters which we will find out soon enough.

Krkić #22 and Nocerino #8 last season. But since then #22 got vacant as well as #8 because Nocerino moved to #23

Haha, looking forward to it.

There should be a few opportunities for you to do just that during the season. We are now an improved unit, but not really world (or league) beaters yet.

Well his second Milan career couldn't really have started any worse than it did. Pretty awful in Turin and now out for a month.
Great stuff.
And before anyone asks, I was overjoyed to re-sign him. Past is forgotten. I really want him to succeed but he didn't start very well. Although it wasn't completely his fault.

LinkThis just goes to show you how full of sh*t Italian papers are sometimes. 35-40 minutes as playmaker in a friendly game and they all came up with all these articles about Kaká's new position.

Well Allegri himself mentioned his "new role"

And Allegri has not played Kaka as a trequartista, he's usually a winger in the ridiculous 4-3-3 we play
