take Kaka back...he mightn't be in Golden Ball condition but is a definite upgrade over Seedorf.
Also get rid of the excuse for a player that is iBra. the red is fading and the blue stripes are starting to shine brighter with time.

Do NOT resign Kaka under any circumstances. Enough of bringing back players we dumped just yesterday.

There are quite a few players out there who're an upgrade over this Seedorf. why Kaka?

Because he got a red card out of frustration? That's the most common thing in the world. Your judgment on Ibrahimovic is strictly biased. He could win us everything single handedly, become the new hero of the fans, but you'd still hate his guts simply because he's Ibrahimovic. That is quite pathetic. dry.gif

LOLZ new hero of Milan laugh.gif
No it isn't because of a red card. iBra embodies Inter i.e. win ugly in the league and FLOP in the CL.
Milan's aspirations have always been to conquer the CL and for whatever reason peter crouch lite isn't the guy to lead us....of course Pep and Jose could be both idiots for letting him to go and you could be the smart one that thinks that he can be our hero (no Enrique).

Also I don't hate his guts because he's Ibrahimovic. I hate him because (not in order) he's:
1) Slow (plays slowly and has 0 pace)
2) Poor finisher
3) Ill tempered and arrogant and will fight with anyone he thinks he can bully within and outside our team
4) Approaching 30
5) Proven CL goat poop
6) Massive wage earner
7) Positionally one dimensional (other than being the main attacker and source of creativity he's useless in the attack). conversely Pato, Robinho and Cassano can take on a variety of attacking roles (cf, lw, ss, st, rf, lf) and do reasonably well. Because of this he's indirectly responsible for the marginalization of our other talents. This might seem a small price to pay if he earns us a trophy or two but in the long term it will leave us screwed when he departs for Madrid.

Now before you try to take apart each point keep in mind that it's the combination of these factors that makes me want to see him leave via turatti. To compare this piece of crap to even a currently diminished Kaka (who by the way is the missing piece for our attack - the missing trequartista) is downright blasphemous
Zed.D
I think you're a bit harsh towards Ibra no matter how much you try not to, but you're spot on with #7. EDIT: I especially hate the "send a long ball to Ibra and hope for the best" tactic. not directly HIS fault his teammates employ this tactic though.

A bit??? Ibrahimovic is one of the best strikers in the world, but he makes it as if he's a burden to us. I don't care if he's arrogant, earns high wages and is approaching his 30s. He's the main reason we're top of the table for 4-5 months straight now, and that's what matters the most. I don't want Milan to be a big, happy family. I want Milan to start being a winning club again! Keep your sentimental B/S to yourself!

Having a system of values is not sentimental BS. It's what separates us from clubs like bartha and real who ruthlessly discard their heroes for the latest flavour of the month. We aren't juve who focus on winning in Italy at all costs no matter how boring they look. And we aren't Inter SCUM. Players like Materazzi have been fantastically effective. Does that mean his type is welcomed here? Would you be proud of winning in such a cynical and unsporting manner? Players like iBra have no regard for anyone else which is why they have no issue with intentionally hurting others. You might think it's a moralist's overly sentimental stance but there's a practical side to gt a well. It's precisely that type of thinking that got him sent off and banned. The list of gentlemanly Milanistas i referred to in my darkie sort have all gone through difficult times fatigue and poor form too but never resorted to such nasty measures and soon enough rose out of their slumps. iBra's inflated opinion of himself is echoed in his agent's words where he was compared to a ferarri. Here at Milan he thinks he's a ferarri which wouldn't be too bad if he didn't see everyone else as skateboards.

You know, I find such statement very pretentious. You think we are a special club or something, due to moral values and beliefs? Who do you think you are? We are not special. We are just another football club, which happens to be the most successful one in the world, which has always surfed on the peaks of Italian and European football for decades, and which has enjoyed the services of some of the best football players in the world. Yet, this doesn't make us special. It makes us important! We are an important football club, the most important in the world, alongside Real Madrid. And this is what should make us proud of being rossoneri.
kurtsimonw
I have to agree with X-Off here. Despite what many seem to think, pretty much every fan of every club finds their club 'special', it's only normal. The difference between Milan and most is the fact there's only a few clubs that're as successful. Winning is what has made Milan the way they are.

Actually I dislike him too. However unlike iBra he isn't 1holding back a younger talent from developing 2tactically stagnating our team 3 is hands down the best in his role in our squad 4is not viewed as some kind of god 5 doesn't crumble on the big stage 6isn't a cash guzzler and best of all 7 looks to leave pretty soon.

Yeah, same here. laugh.gif Though I have been following Van Bommel for quite a few years now. Can't say I am an fan, but I like his never-say-die attitude and the work he puts in for all his teams, club or NT. Plus, like I said, he is the smoothest criminal around: gets away unseen for crimes any other mortal player would be getting a straight yellow for. In this regard, a good player to have in the team.

Rino is a different DM to MvB, Rino is more of a destroyer whil MvB is a classic DM who plays in front of the defense, ala Makalele and the likes, Ambro was supposed to fit in that bracket, and imo he lost his way a long time ago, I don't think he himself knows what his true position is

Good post Boban biggrin.gif

Not sure about your comments on him coming back though, if he were to come back I'd only take him if he were cheap, both in either transfer/signing on fee and/or wages, i.e. under £20m (this is still Kaka). I'd really rather go and spend that sort of money on VDV or someone even though it's highly unlikely he'd leave Spurs at this time.

I don't think it's so much Kaka as a person but the general feeling and I agree with it in a way that it's perhaps reliving memories and taking a backward step. Though part of me still says Kaka does have potential to play for us for years at a level that we don't currently have in an attacking mid role and this isn't purely down to memories like the Sheva deal was a few years back.

I'm split. Pretty wary of Ganso because of the hype that surrounded Augusto a few years ago and he hasn't really fulfilled it, a bit like Anderson for United too, even Pato to a degree. We did find Kaka that way (though he was clearly at a higer class then). I just don't know if Ganso is really going to be a player who can come straight into the side, start and perform because that's what we need if we are going to have some sort of mass-exodus. It's hard to comment because I don't watch much Brazilian football, mainly because of the time difference. You can't gain much watching Youtube clips because they can make anyone look good & I couldn't care less if he has high potential on Football Manager. Kim Kallstrom, Carlos Vela & Adu were meant to be the best in the world according to that a few years back because they were young rolleyes.gif

Kaka: I love AC Milan

Brazilian star Ricardo Kaka once again showed that he still is a Rossoneri and told to press that "if Milan offers me a contract I will accept it".

"I love Milan and Milan fans. Milan is great team and I had my best moments in that club and during all the years I have stayed there I made lot of friends and I have worked with great people.

Milan fans are great and if Milan makes an offer for me, I would accept it immediately." said Kaka.

As much emotions that this kid made me feel, especially the lonely goal against Celtic. I am more than grateful for his contribution, but he is no longer the same player. I mean, he is still at an age where you'd consider being his prime, yet his injuries have taken so much out of him. Hmm as a sub, yeah Id accept him.

What im trying to say is im indifferent to whether he comes or not, he's just not so important anymore. Sad, but he lost a big fan on June 2009.

I wouldn't go as far to say he's out and out finished. sleep.gif Fallen from his lofty standards, yeah, and the injuries did not help one bit (Kaka did not get enough time to play and get into form). What amazes me though is Ibra is round about an year older than this guy!

Ibra is built like a machine imo, he rarely gets injured (touch wood) He's just a very physically strong player. Kaka has been having trouble with his knees and ankles for a while now, he hasn't been the same since the year he won the Ballon D'or imo, and now that he's nearing his 30s he'll never regain what once made him the best player in the world, the sheer speed on the ball was unlike nothing I've ever seen, C.Ron imo was the faster of the 2, but Kaka once he took off dribbling at pace was by far the best in that respect
Fillipo Simone
That's why I belive he's finished. Sure, he can be of use for a club like Roma or Valencia, but that's it.

acid911
Yeah, I remember people calling him the "Milan Speedwagon". biggrin.gif Those were the times! sad.gif As for Ibrahimović I never considered speed to be his strongest suite (and really the pole of a Swede, few people are as fast as they are tall), so maybe that's one of the reason Ibra never got much injured. His strong body helped in this regard too.

And yeah, I may be proven wrong, but part of me still believes we can see at least two good years out of Kaka', both in the NT, and in Real Madrid (if he stays there, that is). unsure.gif A lot of champions have come back after being marked out by fans and media, and Kaka' may very well be back to a decent enough best. Then again, maybe he won't. It all depends on whether he can cement his place and get enough playing time to get back into form.

There once was a time (even if for a year at most) when he was the absolute best on the planet!

No. It's not like that at all. Kaka lost his speed and all his qualities started to disappear. He simply isn't a star any more, he's a very good player. A change of envoirment will help.
dst
But how is he finished if he's still a very good player? I don't see why he should leave Madrid he still can do great things with them I think (he'll have to prove it of course). The biggest change has been that he's not the best player in his team now as he was for Milan and he's not the star other than that I think he had a very good season in 09-10... at least for those who know he's not a forward and don't look at his goals to measure that...
Milan Are Brilliant
Cristiano is far quicker with sprint speed granted, but he's quicker than most. In terms of dribbling, Kaka was immense and is far faster than CR, he didn't even look fast, it was just graceful and you could see players behind him bursting a gut but not getting anywhere near... and they didn't even have the ball.

I don't get people saying Kaka is lightweight, he's quite a tall guy and who is really staggeringly built in football nowadays? Zlatan is blessed with a 6ft 5 frame, I wouldn't say he's particularly massively built though, unless we are simply going off height, though that wouldn't make sense, because Messi is a very, very small guy but most on here would say he's the best in the world. You are either lucky with injuries or you are not, and the thing is once you get issues they are more likely to return. The reason Zlatan doesn't have weak knees or ankles is he doesn't run.
