Mad my day,.. king.gif

Anyway, years ago I've seen an article saying Seedorf is a real polyglot, speaking 6 or 7 languages. Anyone knows more about this?

I'd go in with the Dutch colony, considering he played for Holland. smile.gif
Tennie
Plays. smile.gif MVB is calling him up for games and he's been starting most of 'em.
acid911
Of course, he does. smile.gif

But he missed out in the World Cup, which seriously came back to haunt Holland. I still remember that match against Portugal - bucketloads of cards, both red and yellow. All in all, it's good that Seedorf is back in the frame. Unlike the case with Dunga and Ronaldo. dry.gif

vagner love and fabiano are much better. The dutch have a hard time replacing a player like seedorf.

That was a huge mistake by MVB. He tried to make Holland mostly white and to exclude player he thought were problematic.

Yes, the end result was pretty damaging. Even without key players such as Seedorf, RvN, and co, they still had a very strong lineup, and I had personally pepped them up for a semi-final berth (before the World Cup began) at the very least. wink.gif

yeah but hes 31 and unfit. Dunga is put in his position to win not give equal oppurtuinties to players. Ronaldo compared to fabiano and love is pure garbage right now. Whether he got fit or not.

Nope. Getting him fit is easier - it's keeping him fit for long periods of time that's proving to be quite a challenge. But still, I can't wait for the day he steps up on the football field again, hopefully in Milan colors. Fingers crossed. cool.gif

Seedorf Hails 'Incredible' Premier League
AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has revealed his regret at having never played in the Premier League…

The Dutchman played at the elite level for over 16 years and featured for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Ajax, Real Madrid, Internazionale and now Milan.

The one-time Sampdoria man has won the UEFA Champions League with three separate clubs, and has picked up La Liga, Scudetto and Eredivisie titles.

But despite his immense success on the continent, Seedorf admitted it would have been great to showcase his talents in England.

“Especially now I think it is incredible to play there,” he told Setanta Sports News. innocent.gif

“Not only because of the great players that are there but also if you see what the clubs in general are doing in the UK now. The new management structure they have.”

Enjoy

Seedorf turned 32 last month, but despite his veteran years he remains a key part of the Rossoneri line-up, having played over 30 games in Serie A this season.

The Suriname-born midfielder has few years in him yet, but he insists he will not match Milan team-mate Paolo Maldini, who will turn 40 next month.

He said: “I don’t see myself playing that long! I have too many things that I want to do but I am going to enjoy it as much as possible and as long as possible.”

It is still not too late Seadorf. Pack your bags and go to EPL!! dry.gif

damn, i sense a little bit of hostility..i personally love seedorf and think he's an underappreciated legend of the game! talk all you want clarence but don't leave Milan unless its for Ajax!
Darunia
Seedorf is a co-host for the CL on espn.. his english is so good!

He talks a little bout Milan, UEFA Cup, and how winning the scudetto is the main priority next season. He thinks there will be a lot of changes to the squad, I hope he's correct.

I read somewhere last week that about Seadorf rumor's to Liverpool.
I dont have anything against him (well maybe a little),
But should R10 come and he would not accept the bench
or obey the coach wholeheartedly, then by all means..
dst
Seedorf should be benched next season. It really would be pathetic if he still is in our starting XI considering he picks and gives his all in only 10 games per season... if we really want to win anything then Seedorf should learn to like it on the bench. If he does not want to then he can go and I'm not going to cry cause it would be selfish... Rui Costa used to be a better player than Seedorf and he never created a problem... Clarence can leave if he feels he deserves to be a starter. But I would not suggest the EPL... he'd be one week slow over there; he'll still be playing with Newcastle and his team will be at Everton...
Fillipo Simone
^ I agree that Seedorf should be benched but only as a warning, not as a permanent solution. If he still pulls out the same lame playing, he can stay as a permanent bench player. But I don't agree that Rui Costa used to be better then him. In Milan not. Seedorf was allways more valuable and could both score and assist. Rui and scoring in Milan? A story never really opened..

Still, I'm a bit outraged that Marco Van Basten once more dropped Clarence. This is rediculous. Snijder alone cannot be a generator for the dutch midfield. I was so dissapointed in Holland in 2006, by their tactics and performances (which then produced a dissapointing result). But on this Euro...with MvB as coach and such a week midfield, they don't stand a chance. De Zeeuw? Englaar? Lanzaat? de Jong? Please...why not Maduro, even van Bommel? Okay, they have Robben and Persie, but they had big injury problems and I'm not sure how they're gonna integrate.

Anyway, IMO Holland does not stand a chance.
morgoth
Fillipo, Seedorf pulled out of the Dutch squad, MvB didn't leave him out. What I don't understand is why didn't pull out for the qualifiers too? unsure.gif
CrazyMilanFan
the reason he pulled out was bcoz he was not meant to be a first team player

Thanx...

Bert Van Marwijk? That's also new to me. Seems like I've been away for quite some time...Bert isn't something special, but certainly better then Van Basten. As for Seedorf..hmh, this article is just in "hype mode". Seedorf's right not to take part if he feels there's something negative between him and the coach. But he has a big ego, that's true.

vnata001
given seedorfs recent comments about how he doesn't think he'll be pushed out of the side by ronaldinho and sheva and plans on scoring ten goals..i just had this image of him upstaging ancelotti again when he is substituted at some point this season..i shouldn't worry too much given his great pre-season form, but i hope clarence has a good season..knowing him, he won't be a happy camper if things don't go his way..
Rossoneri7
^^

Not necessarily, I mean Seedorf is a proud guy and what he has accomplished in his career, regardless of what one's personal opinion of him, he has won the CL 4 times in his career and in all those 4 times he was a key player.

I would say, considering the impact of Ronaldinho & Shevchenko in the team right now, I'd say Seedorf is working twice as hard, and it might really be a very good season for him .. Inevitably that would be great for us fans too biggrin.gif

Quick question.

As I am fully for Milan I want to know what people see in Seedorf I know he must be special as he has won the Champions League with three different clubs which is some feat but could somebody tell me what makes him such a good player as when I see him as much as I try to like him I think he's merely ordinary.

Sorry to those who idolise him and I hope I haven't offended anyone but I just want to know what people see in him.
gal_kenny
Maybe this could answer ur question...

Seedorf
acid911
Excellent question, Chris. And nice video, Kenny. Seedorf is the most complete (offensive) midfield in Europe. smile.gif On his best days, no one touches him. But the problem comes when he's not having his best days, which are quite often, he only steps up against big times. So that levels him up.

Plus, he's lazy and egotistic. So that doesn't help. But I fail to see anyone like him in World Football at the moment.

True..He has skills, can score from anywhere..Sometimes he unpredictable..He's very important for this team..About the Egotisticness? The first time i realised that was when he was substituted for pato in the fiorentina game in which pato scored the winner...he had such a angry and egocentric face..(like why did u substitute me)...But he'll learn to know that its for the team..I don't think that he'll act like dat this season...But our offense should be really great this season; so as our midfield, defense, and Keeper..Milan is a team of harmony..Now our game starts tomorrow and we'll need every1 we can have available and hopefully we'll win

Seedorf is a genius and a big match player imo. He's intelligent, has an immense shot and a great passer of the ball.

His problems are the fact that he only shows up for the games that he wants to show up for, other then that if he decides he doesn't give a **** about the game he's going to walk around all game long and do nothing other then spray around some bad passes.
